Formula GT or Peugeot 908?

I need to buy a racecar for events like the All Star, endurance races and the Like The Wind races, but I'm undecided between the formula GT Car and the Peugeot 908, what is the best car? I'm at Lv22 at the moment.

Formula GT since there is an event you need to use this car. Its also faster. I haven't driven my Formula GT, but I think its more stressfull than the 908, or any other car of equal performance.

You need the Formula GT for the Formula GT championship. However the Formula GT is a Level 23 car, you're only at level 22, so I'm not sure you can buy it yet.

Save your money and when you get to level 24 buy the FGT like the wind can be won with a non race car or other cars that are much cheaper than the LMP cars. The FGT will toast them with ease in every race besides the FGT race which requires some driving but even then the car is much faster than the AI drives it so If you have a handle on the car those races are not bad.

In fact compared to the X1 challenge they are all a piece of cake.

I guess seeing where you're going at night would be helpfull

My mistake, level 24. Sounds like you have some more grinding to do OP.

European championship is a piece of cake. The opponents are a joke. You most certainly dont need a 908 to win.

Wow that would be a waste. You can smoke them with much slower and much cheaper cars than the 908. I think I let Bob use my McLaren not sure what I used but you can bet it was slower than that. Maybe my RUF maybe my Lotus can't remember but you surely do not need to spend millions on an LMP car for this race.

Where did you read that? I ran a practice race and the lights worked just fine. They went on automatically for me.

If you are not a good driver you may find it a bit hard but it can be driven with the pad just fine. It is very fast and sticks in the corners better than anythign you have driven. The FGT that is.

The 908 can hardly be compared to the McLaren F1. The 908 is a race car and it is very fast and sticks well like a race car. I would guess that it is similar in speed to the Minolta, likely a little slower on the top end faster on the low end and may corner better. Can't say for sure as I have not driven it yet in GT5 but I would say my guess is pretty close as I have driven it in other games quite a bit.

I will maybe try to win the 908 with the birthday gift cheat and buy the FGT when it is available.
I read that we can only buy the FGT at Lv24 but the FGT Championship is available at Lv23

My brother picked up the 908 and drove it a bit. He did not seem overly impressed nor disappointed with it so I am guessing it is in the same league as the other high end race cars.

The Peugeot is my "go to" when I really need to win a race, used it to win the Minolta. The Minolta is super as well, and at over 1000 horsepower, the most powerful car in my garage, it consistently smokes in B-Spec.
