This race would fit me if we were racing the Dodge Viper GTS-R or the Corvette C5-R.
Hehehehe, Not your luck eh? First Group C and now Formula GT. I guess as long as its with exotic racecars, you sure won't race this track will you?:D

No, I dont like racing the Nordschliefe. I only like TESTING there(very good practice though). The problems are is that Group C cars are like a brick and FGT is so sensitive to the slightest bumps. Racing the FGT here would be a nightmare I wouldn't be able to get over:nervous::scared:

Going off of Blake's T-11 time I estimate him to be around 3-5 seconds faster then The Internet's pole time of 5'12.xxx last season. That's very possible for such a long lap

My goal for this race is just to pick up some points, and I am regretting scheduling the two toughest Grand Prix to start the season, as it seems to be scaring drivers away

I wouldnt mind racing this if GT4 made the other part of the track.

I'm going to be thinking long and hard about doing this race. Lots to do this week.

So this is the chance to pick up easy points by just finishing then?

I guess so. This race is good for the 'Historic' Group C racers series, though.

I'm going to be working hard. My best T11 is 5'41'296, minutes first.

Funny you say that as I won there recently in that series. I think if you can drive a Group C prototype around here, you can drive a FGT car. At least, thats how I did it.

Oh my god, I finally got my first clean lap. Took long enough. :grumpy:

Slow, but clean.

T11 – 4'53.322

My previous T11 was dirty because I went onto the grass and then skated into a wall about 3 minutes in…

Will try to spend a few hours on this one soon I hope :nervous: Will try to trim about 8 seconds if I can. I too had to just throttle down a bit to complete a lap, its just nuts ain't it Blake?

Yeah, it’s frustrating. There is so much time out there but getting an inch off-line anywhere can end your lap when you’re close to the limit.

Not doing this round. Dont have enough time. And the fact that im 15 seconds slower than jump_ace's T11. I absolutley hate running this track with this car.

Disregard what I said. I will attempt this because of easy points. After reading the article about Formula GT Already In Danger? I thought that its easy points and this may help me out later in the season.

[expletive]! Now I will be pushed out of contention for points, or at least have a greater chance of so doing!

I still have yet to turn in a proper T11, or one under 5'40.

Wow what a rush! Never thought such a frustrating track could be so much fun. My fastest was T11 5'05.942. I dont think ill get any faster. I tryed to stay off the rumble strips as much as I could considering the fact that they will mess you up. That split only took 5 tryes:sly:
Im going to try again later tonight looking to get under my previous time.

Thats great, kid. Looks like your enjoying this after all. I think you would have done well if you competed when the Group C series was here.

I have found my comfort zone and attacked it and came with a big drop. My new split is T11 4'58.538. There Is just 1 spot where I can improve and possibly drop 2 seconds of that.

Well, I only screwed up twice, did two Gilles Villeneuve recoveries, and I still got 5'40'996. The more remarkable Canadian would have loved the course...

Final Split and now im going to the race. T11 4'56.881 having a difficult time through the S-bends.

I enjoy the precision of the DFP here, but the forcefeedback adds to the challenge

Was finally able to improve big time with a 4'53.599.The launch from turn one did the trick for me.

Has anyone else broken the 56 second mark at T2? I came very close to not getting it.

Bah. I haven't been able to give this a try all week! :( Well, since there a good chance of finishing in the points this round I'll give it a try. Since it's the race, at least I have a bit more freedom when it comes to going. I just can't seem to keep the thing on track. We'll see what I can come up with tonight.

Got a faster qualifying split a 4'54.019. I cant take anymore frustration:banghead:
I don't think I have a teamate anymore because it seems that Loon quit. So that will be hard on keeping a high rank in the team points.

Hey, I don't have one either, and Famine did not have one to begin with. But, Loon was a good racer.

My final times will come tonight. Watch this space.

Looks like Earth has been out for awhile again.
Hope its nothing serious.

Yea boys! 5'23'000! The lack of a single tenth was a bonus. However, there is still lots of room for me to improve, given your pace and mine.

Sadly, I was set for 5-5'11, but I lost it all negotiating the easiest turn, after Schwalbenschanz.

I hope Earth is alright as well.

umm can I join or is it too late?

Yay.

Last year third, This year second. I'm almost there. What pit strategy are you guys thinking up?
