Looks like im in your shoes right now RACECAR:sly:
Well another poduim in qualifying.

You know, we have three people under last seasons pole time. I think that says something about the competitiveness this season.

I hope it stays this way because it makes the seires more enjoyable.

Are ALL splits necessary for the time to count? I am still at 5'40'895, though I cut that by 16'999 seconds. I only included my T11... and here is Blake with all his sector times posted.

Sorry for that nasty accident, by the way. I lost a driver to that.

Whatever happened to GM and his buddy, though?

I don't know, maybe he's one of those guys who get excited about a series and signup only to realize shortly thereafter they can't make the races regularly so he dissappears. It's something that happens alot, and even I've done it.

You have to include all the splits to receive the extra bonus point for pole position. So if you finish 2nd or 3rd in qualifying it doesn't matter if you sent your splits or not. But it's good not to risk it because you may get pole.

I'm kind of surprised about that.

However, the race here is tougher than qualifying as you will be on a full fuel tank with cold tires

I know how that feels. I had to do it for 15 laps in GT mode so I got a good idea of that already:indiff:

Aww man no driver interviews. I liked doing those. But anyway I'm still struggeling to keep the car on track for the first lap. Very frustarting, and the AI always cuts you off.

So. Can I participate in the race, if I didn't qualify?

Got race warmup times a 4'58.581. Got threw the race once but alot more room for improvement.

Was that not the situation for qualifying as well, or is there some option which allows tire wear in Arcade Mode Time Trial? Who knows, maybe I could be higher up if this is true!

Either way, my driving was dismal, so most likely not.

And, welcome, amemeyarz(?).

Eh? My abysmal race warmup, while embarrassing, is not up. No rush, though.

The weather forecast here in Ohio is calling for a major icestorm. If it does happen this well be the 4th year in a row its happened. So please except late times Earth if this does accur because power outages is highly possible.

Sure I'll accept a late time if that indeed happens

That's alarming. Best of luck to you.

I only ran the race twice, submitted my time. I don’t expect to do particularly well.

You think? I toured in sixth place for most of my race, suffered catastrophic failures to the tires and steering, got bullied by the A.I., (or maybe I was trying to pass where I shouldn't) and my best lap looked like your lap, plus a T1.

There's always someone doing worse than you, Blake. Don't worry too much.

Earth can you accept a time on monday? Because the power keeps on going out and I never get the time to finish the race. But the power company said it would be on tomorrow so ill try to do it first thing and get the times in.

For right now our power is only on twice a day for 30 min. And that is no where near enough time to finish this.

Thanks, but what's with the (?)
Oh and I'm getting my times in rite now.

I think its because he's not sure if he got your name spelled right. Anyhow, Welcome.

Everyone's had a pretty fun experience these first two races. I actually found the race more enjoyable than qualifying - that's saying something. I was only about 20s a lap off my quali pace, on a good lap, which I think I got one of. But we now have the two hardest events out of the way, the rest should be plain and more enjoyable sailing.

Gonna have to bag the season guys, have to do some 'strongly suggested' aka Mandatory OT at work. Sorry.

Jerome

Times submitted as of yesterday.:tup:Very fun track but same goes for frustration to.
Thats a heartbreaker Jerome. I was looking forward to racing you after the Pacific GP qualifying. But thats life.

Natch.

Sorry for that to happen, Jerome. You were a real contender...

...and my time is still abysmal.

Times in. I was actually able to get very close to my best qualifying lap on the last lap. My best split was 5'00.637. Hopefully, I've got a win in my hand.

My best split was a 4'58.180.
Drafting down the straight worked alot. Also the AI never really got in my way. They helped out even to say.
Well its now starting to look like Earth is somewhere else again.

I have to feel some sort of regret for the person. I mean, he's tremendously busy, and yet he's still running this series for our entertainment...

Yup, Earth is a great guy.

So, my best split was 5'23'774.

The Results are up

Rest assured if I may be late at times but I will never leave you guys alltogether
