Beat my F090S time on Seattle: 1:11.414.

I remember getting something very similar when I began in the F1 competition ( Gran Turismo Driving League ). Only had a F090/S to start with. I wonder if I saved the replay or if I decided to get myself a F094/S and try again.

Edit: Didnt you start a thread in the main GT3 forum saying you hate the F090/S ?

Used to be my workhorse car along with the 787. Haven't driven it in a long time. I'll see what I can do. Will seem weird after thousands of miles in the 94/s

I think I got 1:13 in an endurance race. I can do much better.

Hey Sough, when I joined in for Sandstorm's GTDL it was week 3 Seattle. Didnt know which F1 you guys were using at the time so I spent alot of time improving with the F090/S .

Just to make sure I remember.. T1 with the F094/S was around 21.5 and with the F090/S it was somewhere closer to 22.9 to 23.4 ... My memory doesnt always serve me right tho. But now that I do think about, I might have done a high 1:09 with the F090/S. Anyhow I'll try to get the info in when I have time to find where my dad decided to hide the PS2 and then go and look to see if I got a replay. Im pretty sure I have saved settings for it.

1:09.1 first lap
1:07.3 second lap

At first it seemed really weird going so slow, but it handles like the 94/s and you have so much more reaction time to play with. 1:06 is possible.

Pretty much the same ones I used here for the 94/s. As a starting point, max sure too have max front downforce, and max or high rear downforce. Don't have max front springs, take asm off, but for the rest I don't want to give misinformation about what is "good". I would never use a camber of 3/2 on this track but I bet some really good drivers would, its just personal preference. Also, sometimes you can make the car handle the same by two completely different settings. If you want you could post your settings and what problems you are having with the car and I could try to help you out.

Of course you have to keep in mind that knowing the track and driving it well are more important than what settings you have, there is no "magical" setting out there.

Best time 1:09:439

This is the first time I've competed with lap times on this board, my first post as well. Figured it be better then "hi my name is, blah blah"

Setting goals definatly makes for improved lap times. Will try for better times when I play more with setup besides downforce.

i like driving f1 cars at seattle, because when you make a clean lap its just like, mmmmmmmm..

my best so far is 109.851 with the f90s. 724hp.

this car/track combination exploits the ****tiness of the dualshock. i dont know if i could do better with a wheel, because the wheel in gt3 is just as ****ty. but its just so damn annoying when you need to abort a lap halfway in because your thumb slipped a few millimeters on the stick!

btw, i touched the wall on that lap coming out of the last corner. (i failed to clip the second curb, which usually allows me to go flat. definately slowing me down, no advantage.)

after getting sick of the f90s i tried some laps in the 94/s to see how much better i could do. not too dedtermined, set a 1'07.511.

but you know what? now i lap in the f90, and it seems so much more manageable.

1'09.080

1:08.973 :p

that was with a t1 of 22.5xx. ive set a t1 of 22.0xx before.

sough, are you using a wheel? i have to give you respect for a 1:07. if you have time, id like it if you could help me out by answering some questions.

btw, god damn i hate the train tracks at the bottom of the hill. on this lap there was like a .3 second delay while catching the tail before i could straighten the wheel and apply power.

I used a controller for that time.

What can I help you out with advanR?
