I’m working on a West Zakspeed 1986 livery for the F1500T-A, but I’m discovering it’s not that easy to find decent reference pictures from different angles of the same car as there appear to be quite a lot of variations

1986 #3 Data General Team Tyrrell

I’m working on a West Zakspeed 1986 livery for the F1500T-A, but I’m discovering it’s not that easy to find decent reference pictures from different angles of the same car as there appear to be quite a lot of variations

I had the same problem with this car. every photo i found had different sponsors and designs, so i just mixed my favorite bits from all of them together into one. Accuracy be damned.

Yeah that’s kinda the way have to go... mixing various versions to make one that kinda averages out what the car looked like over the year.

I had to do the same with the Minardi I made, there were like 15 photos of 15 different cars online, so I just took the one I could then find some more images as it was a papercraft model as my reference and mixed it with others.

People are making some crazy cool liveries now. Love the addition of this formula car, too bad I cant drive it very well right now.

Anyway, I redid my F2004 livery that I made previously on a GT4 car.

I've got a sneaky suspicion the model is based on a Lotus 99T albeit altered to avoid copyright infringement.
And of course the F1500T is an altered Lotus 97T!

Firstly, a big thank you to @daan for the final piece of the puzzle with the Gancia logos.

Some alterations had to be made to fit the shape difference between the B188-89 and the slightly older F1500, but they have only sacrificed one logo - which was part of the Riello on the nose cone.

How do you put stuff at the back of the rear wing btw? I saw liveries with text on the back but it keeps dissapearing when I try to put something there.

Can somebody make this for the F1 car?

I gave this one a try, was a bit difficult to get right with all the different lines of the F1500T-A but I think it still came out alright. Since there's only a picture of the side of the car I had to improvise the rest. Let me know what you think.

My goodness... The F1500T-A sure is the most photogenic car in GTS right now. It looks good no matter what kind of livery you slapped on it.

For using my own decals? I know you made one right after the update and it looks great as well but the decals you used aren't accurate enough for me. That's why I made the Aston Martin Gr3 with my own decals as well. The decals are even shared so feel free to use them, no royalties.
