I didn't see any where to post a new member thread so.........
Well e've been playing GT-3 since the day it was released in the U.S.
Last night i bought a Logitech DF Pro. Already have huge plans for a sim cockpit. Really nice wheel. Took me all night to get used to it, and i still make stupid over steer mistakes, i'll get flawless in no time i'm sure. I'm a big Subaru fan and i drive a 03 US spec WRX. Just wanted to say high and i can't wait to get my reserved copy of GT-4.

If you need help, there's a bunch of moderators around who all have the search function in their signatures. Do not fail to search in the presence of a moderator or it may just be the last thing you do. :lol:

But of course I'm joking. There's the Weekly Race Series if you feel like a bit of Online Racing, and there's the Off topic section, ehich basically has everythign you could ever need to chiil, and there's also a great bunch of guys.

This WILL become your new home. Guaranteed. Enjoy.
 
Hello. Glad to see another scooby file here. I wish I had the means to own one. You'll probably get a welcome sign from a mod along with links to the rules and regulations and whatnot. Have a nice stay.
 
Thanks for the welcome. As for the moderators i'm not a stranger to forum life. I know how to search and did so about the logitech before i bought it last night. I've learned alot of new stuff about GT-3 since i've been here the last few days. You guys have some great info. compiled here. This is my second time through the game. It took me a year or so to get it completed the first time. And i'm at 78% right with my new game i started a few months ago. Good times gentlemen.

Welcome to GTPlanet,

You will have to get reused to the DF Pro when GT4 arrives, even GT4 P is much better for the wheel. In the GT4 forum there is a DF Pro thread feel free to add to it.
 
As one of the aforementioned Mods, let me welcom you to GTPlanet as well. Normally "Hi there" posts would go in the Rumble Strip, but you had GT3 content here as well so this is fine.

You, as with everyone else on this site, are welcome to come and enjoy the wrs.

Feel free to come in and check things out, I am sure we will have a race that you enjoy (eventually ;) ).

Good luck, and if you come to the wrs my wishes of luck for you are double (tough competition and usually a rude awakening to how fast people can actually be).

i'm confused about the WRS...........i read your "official" thread but its not online play just time trials kinda. I guess i need to search some more. But it sounds cool 👍

Welcome to GTP, BlueRex. Check out this thread for some more general OLR (Online Racing) info. It ought to make the WRS make more sense ;)
 
yep that cleared it up.......i didn't look in online play because i knew gt-3 didn't have that.......thanks for the linky. :)
 
Don't participate in the weekly races. They will eat you alive. I once made the mistake of taking up the Week 88 race. Soon, I was playing from sun up to sun down. I lost my girlfriend, I was kicked out of my house (i'm posting from a public library), and I have become a bum giving sexual favours for McDonalds happy meals. WRS has destroyed my life, but it was worth it.

hey man no need to blame the WRS for it. You were the one who spent all that time on it, I mean I'm sure most of the people don't sit arund all day just working on that. So really it was you who got yourself kicked out.

well i'm sure some people are amazing but i'm not scared... :scared: :dopey:

I'm still working on the wheel. I can grip race pretty well now, but drifting is harder and i haven't got the hang of it yet.

I raced the F090 s @ Cote d'Azure and i was making a 1.20-1.21 lap after lap. With the DR Pro. How's the lap time?
 
i just want to slip in a question cuz i searched like hell but i couldn't find it......i'm almost done the game, all i have left to do is the F1 challenge....but my question is, is it possible to get back the mini cooper after deleting it??? cuz i deleted it in the beginning of the game (i thought i didn't need it) and now i want it back :(

no......but the thing is that i can't go back to the lightweight sports car cup cuz i already did it....and it's not like once you do it you can go back again and win another car
 
you can do the European Championship again though.

I have 3, none have been driven.
 
This my first post on this site, I have been playing the Gt games since 2, got 3 day it came out, and have 4 reserved. Love the game, have a passion for vehicles, am a Ford guy as the name emplys, but love every vehicle manufacturer equally, minus two that piss me off. Glad this thread was started.

I'm really just getting into the tuning aspects of the game. That F090 S was driven as it came win i won it. I always seem to make the car a little slower when i mess with things. I know the stock (origional) settings may not be better but i always screw them up. Is there something that you can do to change the settings back to origional. Like a return defaults button. I did the high speed trick and now my Suzuki is impossible to drive and i can't get it back to where its managable even with the power back down to stock.
