Go to the "Change Parts" screen in the Settings area. Click twice on the part you want to reset to default. This should set the part in question back to the original numbers.

If you go to the setting you want to change, usually you have a list - "stage 1, stage 2" etc, or "enabled" and "disabled" or something. Usually the very top setting is the original setting.

blue rex, welcome aboard and id say check out the WRS, you learn lots there, lines, techniques and how to setup your car.

I'm really just getting into the tuning aspects of the game. That F090 S was driven as it came win i won it. I always seem to make the car a little slower when i mess with things. I know the stock (origional) settings may not be better but i always screw them up. Is there something that you can do to change the settings back to origional. Like a return defaults button. I did the high speed trick and now my Suzuki is impossible to drive and i can't get it back to where its managable even with the power back down to stock.
The stock settings for F1 cars are not very good at all, try some settings by searching in the setups section of the GT3 forum. If you have ASM on, turn it off. This will screw up your driving in all modes. If you have always had it on by default, it will takes some adjusting to driving without it, (spinning out alot on corner exit) but you'll be much faster in the long run.

There's a good liitle tuning school in a hidden corner of GTP, check it out with your tuning questions in mind:

Later, enjoy your stay at GTP.👍

There's also the GTVault at www.gtvault.com for settings.
i went to gtvault but i cant find the settings for the cars......it only shows some under the 'new setups' and even when i search for a car like the F094/H it only tells me about the car. but doesn't show any links or anything for the setting

When you search for a car, do not press on the NAME of the car, press on the
Setups.gif
just to the left. That will display all the settings for that particular car. Here's the link for the F094/H setups.

^^^^FUMES has awesome setups for almost every car on there....I would suggest using his first.

EDIT: if you have a wheel, turn off TCS as well as ASM. I have improved my times markedly by not using the driver assists (as long as you have the throttle control the pedals give you).

thats what i was working on last niight. Its kinda hard with high hp cars but i'm getting better at it. I race shifter karts in SKUSA and i'm used to almost always no throttle or 100% throttle, and its not really a smooth transition, just slam it to the floor. Those things are like glue to the track. but when you loose traction you usually crash or spin out. I wish GT-4 had some Shifter Karts 👎

LoL - the F1 cars are as close as you'll come, but they are some of the easiest cars to spin out on slow corners. Have you golded all the licenses yet? that can make you a much better driver :) I just started a new game and golded all the licenses in 2 evenings. The first time I played through there was no was I was going to gold anything above the b license.

i just lack a few of the full lap one to having them all gold. I'm just fraction off but i'll get them soon. This wheel has given me some fits. I was playing the Pro Zonda race and about midway the car quit turning and when straight into the wall the throttle stayed pinned and i had no steering. I had to reset the game. :banghead: :banghead: 🤬

just press start on your dual shock 2 controller to pause the game, then unplug the steering wheel from the playstation, plug it back in and you can keep going. It happens to me from time to time too. I always keep my DS2 controller right infront of me just in case it happens.

EDIT: I guess on that race you are so close that a lockup means you're not going to win anyway....but keep it in mind for future use!
