Jordan you should have a computer forum. To discuss recent programs and other things about computers, internet, and websites. I think that would be a good idea.

No, I really don't want to dedicate a forum just for website promotion. If someone wants to promote their site (like you), I would encourage you to include a prominent link in your signature.

Also, if you want to promote your website, just list it in your profile. I often go through the Members list and look at everyone else's sites.

Well there are ways and means of doing this in messages, aren't there?! I hope my self-promotion doesn't cause anyone offence, but when I launch my forums early next year, I think I'll be upset if everyone just uses them as a means of publicising their own sites. I've not really seen anything here which I wouldn't say wasn't appropriate though.

You could just make a text file to copy and paste the text to the body of messages. That way the people that don't view signatures would still be getting your advertisement. You could also easily use images.
