Shame that Forza 4 missed the backwards compatibility program by 1 year, this game with a 4k resolution boost and quick loading from SSD would be perfect.

Another is imagine if Turn Ten or Microsoft didn't have this "four-year rule" with licensing before the game and its DLC got delisted. If only that happened, I'd still be playing FM4 even all the way up to my Xbox Series X with all DLC.

Just started playing Forza Motorsport 4 and having a blast! So many great cars that should return to the Forza franchise.

A shame that I can’t download the photos I took in that game, as the Storefront doesn’t exist anymore.

Anyone knows if its possible to get the DLC's for this game in anyway? I know the storefront is closed. But, is there a loophole? Hopefully without hacking the console.

yes, there is a way. Someone who already own these DLC's should login with his Xbox Live Account on your console and start the game. Normally it will download the DLC and unlock them for your console. Works with any X360 DLC AFAIK

If you never got the DLC before, your best bet is to do it with a jailbroken (JTAG/RGH) Xbox 360. However, that's not as simple as it sounds, as it will involve opening up the system, soldering, and installing a mod chip.

Now with all those Ai recompiled PC releases of all old FMs and FHs a FM4 return is close (early betas are already out), probably even with mods and tweaks from later games. I'll wait till the biggest bugs are gone but I'm very excited to start a new career from 0 on high resolution and maybe maybe bigger grids.

It's crazy how you guys are getting to play all these games on PC and we, the original Xbox guys who got the games as "exclusives" are not even getting remasters.

Thanks to licencing, racing game fans will almost never get remasters of games with real vehicles. It's the cross we bear sadly.

Bit offtopic but the first other OG Xbox ports to PC aside Forzas are already done like f.e. Midnight Club 3 and I will also be very happy for the PGR series or the X exclusive Rallisport Challenge 2 and many other OG/360 exclusives to come to PC with graphic and other updates. I bought a second X360 with some "spice" some years ago just to be able playing OG Xbox titles on a wireless controller and via a HDMI port on my TV but not every OG XB title works 100 % with this method like the mentioned Rallisport 2. Another one I'm waiting for will be Burnout 3 in 4k and probably 100+ fps. Good times for the era with tons of amazing (driving) games ❤️

I hope somebody makes a recompilation for use with Series X dev mode, I still got my old 360 and game disc, but the controller doesn't work anymore, something with the battery contacts. It would be nice to play forza 4 in at least 1080p and fast loading.
