Forza 6 Porsche Expansion

I live 2 minutes away from a Porsche showroom and I saw 2 Cayman GT4s it would be nice for this car to be added in the future:) one was in this colour.

So far, if you have the 356A close to stock(I just lowered the suspension E227) in Free Play, there is a field of 23 other 356As to race against.
 
Virginia was a completely new experience. I memorize the circuit now somehow but hitting the corners right will need a few more laps.

My first overall impression is positive, the Porsche Section in the main menu is well made, like the new events and the new campaign. The 919 also cements Forzas Position as the leading game when it comes to LMP1 cars.

I would have set the price a bit lower though, 15€ seems more reasonable . But its great to have Porsche in something else but Need for Speed anyway. And the brand adds alot to the overall experience
 
Other than being a little disappointed by the lack of customization options on the cars, I rather like the additions. VIR is pretty nice too, it's a really fast track and it's pretty easy to put in a respectable time too, which I like.
 
i just started the Anthology. One thing I just noticed, it's not giving dirty laps out. For smashing into cars or running off the track. I haven't checked normal free play or career yet, but the dirty lap indicator is definitely malfunctioning in the Porsche Anthology. I also haven't tried any boost mods, to see if that dirties a lap.

Edit: rewinds aren't giving a dirty lap either. I hope this is just in anthology, even so it's using the normal leaderboards, so there's going to be invalid times showing up clean.

Did you check the leaderboards?

I noticed some times in free play the dirty lap indicator won't show up, I'll beat my previous time by half a second or so and it would say so but my best lap time won't change.

Yeah apparently it's just like career. It doesn't show the lap dirty during the race, but it does when you check the leaderboards afterwards.False alarm. Just a case of stupidity in the first degree. :lol:
 
Now that we have a 356, someone should recreate Bruce Jennings' 356 Speedster. He is the King Carrera, after all. I would make it, but I am the worst painter in the world.

Could be done if you put some tasteless enhancements on and change the colour !!
 
I'm really digging this narration before the races in anthology. I also noticed one new music score for the pre/during/post race. I don't know if there's anymore, or just one.
 
I have too many first impressions to say much useful right now and I still need to learn VIR (only been driving the Grand West layout). If anything, they need to remove that yellow stripe from Porsche on the car selection screen. What's that all about? There's already a dedicated Porsche section in the main menu which should be enough, but elsewhere they should just blend in with the rest and not stand out like some superiority handed out on EA's mercy.

Jennings was an amazing driver who had 216 wins to his name racing Porsche's, and he started in a 356 Carrera Speedster. He raced on the factory team with Porsche and Ford at Sebring and raced for Chaparral at Le Mans.

Anyway, this pack looks amazing! I can't wait to get my hands on it later this week.
 
I'm just going through the Anthology, driving each car stock and untuned before I get good tunes for each of them. I finished The Origin, and really enjoyed driving all those older cars. I just started The Evolution, and right off the bat it was the 959. That car is a blast. This pack is totally worth the money to me, and I haven't even gotten to my favorite car yet.

Something I don't understand, and this is the last I'll bring up the complainers over yonder. Didn't people who bought the ultimate edition, didn't they already get a great deal? I don't know what it all includes, I just thought it was cheaper and a good deal then buying it all seperately, like I did. I would spend it in a heartbeat on this game again. There was actually people going back and forth earlier on another website, about whether Turn 10 had to give Porsche/EA any money for the liscence to have Porsche cars. I can't make this stuff up. If I hear one more person complain that the Porsche pack wasn't included in the ultimate edition, I'm going to lose my mind. If I could find an easier option for getting my pictures, I seriously wouldn't go there anymore.

Anyways forgive me, I won't rant on this subject again. I hope everyone is enjoying the cars and track as much as I am. We should get more cars just on the horizon too, with this months car pack and the Top Gear car pack in April. Race on my friends. 👍
