I didn't see it. It was told to me.

I know I cannot go by word alone, which is why I asked here if it was true. I don't really care for 360's or Forza, I was just wondering if we had another sim possibly coming to PS3.
 
That would take a LOT of getting used to for me because I have no idea how forza works lol

I kind of figured it would be, but since I didn't know how most of that all works over there it sounded a bit believable.

I can't be alone in thinking the more good racing sim-like games available, the better 👍. While it'd never happen, the idea of having the big names like FM or GT cross-platform erases one of the barriers a lot of people have with either title right now; the cost of entry in the form of a new system.

I would instantly buy Forza for the collection of tracks and cars the game packs alone.
 
It would be cool to have Forza on ps and have GT on xbox, but that's not going to happen
 
But....haven't there been companies started by Microsoft that ended up becoming their own independent company?
 
If Turn 10 did end up breaking their ties with Microsoft, then I couldn't see it ending well for them. It'd be very likely that they'd be 'picked up' by one of the big third-party publishers, namely EA or Activision. If the game they developed for one of these companies didn't reach sales expectations, then they'd end up suffering the same fate as Bizzare Creations, after Blur didn't sell as well as expected.

EDIT: I really should've mentioned this was just a hypothetical situation, I certainly can't see Turn 10 ever splitting from Microsoft.

How many times does it need to be said?

There is no "breaking ties with Microsoft" in the case of Turn 10. The possibility doesn't even exist. It would be like the US Navy "breaking ties" with the United States. It just isn't a possibility, rumor debunked. End of discussion.

I remember when the sega vs nintendo war was in its heightened stage and there was speculation about sonic on nintendo or mario on mega drive now at the time I thought there is nooooo way it will happen but it did sonic on nintendo.

Now forza on ps3? Or gt on xbox definately not, to much competition the only way would be if sony or microsoft stop consoles like sega did and stick to games.

Again thats a big IF.
 
Forza should be from beginning a launch title for ps3, now it's far to late to think about Forza 6 for ps3. Never going to happen

Erm ok? There hasnt been a forza 5 yet and your talking about 6?

Forza horizon is not forza 5.
 
I'm not following this game and i have no idea how many F games are there. Just give one of them, could be Forza 10 still never happen.

At least this is my assumption, but $$ could say different. Enough money could buy anything.

I think the only way as stated earlier is if in the unlikely event microsoft concentrate on software only and want the game exposed to as many people as possible.

Again this is a huge IF.

Absolutely true :) so whether or not the rumour is valid, there is nothing to prove that it'll never happen - even the common sense comments above are irrelevent to how things might actually go in future - no one can be sure.

Personally I am surprised that MS haven't already put it forward for PC - after all quite a few MS compatible applications can be used on their competitors cush as Apple and IBM. It would be extra income.

The series predates the PS3 and was an XBox exclusive then too, so that doesn't even make sense.

In my opinion the only good thing about Forza is the people that choose the car lists and tracks, other than that, have no desire to play Forza; Kaz ya should of hired these guys to make your lists...hehe. Racers Game...and no standard models with black cockpits and crappy graphics..maybe someday...AMLS etc etc etc...
 
If Forza came to PC/PS3 i'd buy it, another great racer to add to the collection. Though I can't see it happening, and I can't see me ever buying a 360 to properly play the titles.
 
PS3 is out question, but a PC release would actually be possible and pretty awesome.
Games for Windows only, with a mandatory LIVE account....

They didn't because Forza is a killer application, probably in their opionion they would sold less X360. I don't think we'll gonna see it anytime soon on PS3, but who know for the future. Now X360 is on his end cycle, and we could see Forza on PC which is even better so I can finally and definitely stop bothering with consoles.

I agree on this very much.

Forza is a great game, but for me, it lacks that little extra special something, when I feel that something is in Gran Turismo.

In Gran Tursimo I feel the lack of a complete game. I'll trade that extra something for a complete package any day.
 
Forza is too fake for ps3. Ps3 looks for realistic games like gt5. If gt5 was on poopbox (xbox) the dang console will explode.

I simply love how you weren't quite sure if people would get that "poopbox" was supposed to mean "XBox," so you took the time to explain it.
