In Gran Tursimo I feel the lack of a complete game. I'll trade that extra something for a complete package any day.

Is Forza complete?

Last time I checked, every single championship were the same, exept for change of class, and some more tracks when you got to the higher class championships.

I mean, they're exactly the same. And the fact you have to race 2 times on the same track right after each other is really annoying. At least in Forza 4.

Except for car change and track change its all the same ?

I not know what witchery this is?

Forza is too fake for ps3. Ps3 looks for realistic games like gt5. If gt5 was on poopbox (xbox) the dang console will explode.

While your attempt to be clever by using 8 year-old name calling was unimpressive, we're not actually 8 years-old. I think we know what you mean by "poopbox".

No of course it's not all the same...

But Forza is far from a complete package.

Your going to be hard pressed to find a more complete package with more content IMHO.

If Forza were to make it on the PS3, I could only see Turn 10 making more money. It seems stupid that they're restricting their games to one console, when they could potentially make more money by allowing it on another console. I know microsoft is money-hungry, so I could see this affecting sales of the XBOX, but they could still make up for that with Forza being download-only on PS3 (basically removing the chance of piracy)

I Say one little thing saying poopbox and ya'll take it so serious. So stupid.

Poopbox, my god that's funny. Seriously, it's one of the funniest things I've ever read. Do you do standup? You should do this stuff as a job.

In time maybe you could be remembered with all the greats like Sinbad or Carrot Top.

OP, put a Surgeon Generals warning statement in the thread title:

"READING THIS THREAD CAN CAUSE IMMEDIATE LOSS OF BRAIN CELLS."

This is how I feel about the situation.

I agree on this very much.

Forza is a great game, but for me, it lacks that little extra special something, when I feel that something is in Gran Turismo.

That certain something that GT5 has is rather flawed tire physics, where as Forza actually mimics real life more.

If by fake, you mean more real, then yes.

Are you suggesting GT5 is complete? Or was anywhere near complete at release?

Honestly, Forza is far more about racing than GT5 in my opinion. Far less time spent in pointless menus, far fewer pointless scenes (oh you bought a car, here, waste sometime watching us tell you this) and shorter loading times.

Could not agree more. But this isn't a GT5 vs Forza thread. Lets keep it OP related please, that goes to everyone.

Which part of Turn 10 being an internal MS developer didn't you get? Replace 'Turn 10' with 'Microsoft' in the above paragraph and see if it makes sense. This thread really is full of nonsense.

That's never been my experience of any Forza game, and definitely not 4. The tracks change, the classes change and although you do have to race the same track once for the last race and sometimes twice over championships, the time of day changes so it's not exactly the same. In between that there are plenty of point to point races, multi-class races, manufacturer races and drag races. I've always found their event list to be fairly varied. 👍

You forgot the autocross races :p

This thread is rapidly spiraling down the "IF U DUN TINK GT5 R DA BEZZ THEN U SHOOD GTFO" alley.

"Many games have what GT doesn't, but no game has what GT does." Maybe you don't get it, but as other people seem to feel (myself included) theres just a certain feeling you get by playing a GT game that no other game really has.

I'm sure you're going to make some smart response back to this, such as "the feeling you get when waiting for a screen to load for 10 minutes, you mean?" But I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who understands that special GT feeling.

Oh, and by "fake" I don't think they mean "more real." Pretty sure they just mean "fake."

Doesn't matter. This thread is completely ridiculous, it would be like Chevrolet selling Ford cars at one of their dealerships.

You could say that for almost any game that simulates something, honestly. In fact, I remember a lot of people having a similar view on Enthusia because of its physics.

Right, the fact I've been playing GT games since you didn't exist, or have been on this forum talking about them since you were 5, doesn't mean anything about my understanding of the GT series  Nor does the fact that I spend quite a bit of time driving for fun and this has lead to a decent understanding of how cars behave in most all situations.

Or it could be the fact that while I own GT5 and a PS3, I've played more Forza 4 despite the fact I don't own an XBOX. Probably to due with the fact that I can hop in an FR or MR car in Forza it feels far more like reality than in GT5.

Enthusia had far more enjoyable and realistic physics than GT4. Mostly because the tire model in EPR didn't use the same traction values when tires would spin. As soon as tires started spinning in GT4, felt like driving on ice, always. Completely unnatural feeling.

Always amusing when people can't come up with actual reasons for GT5 being better so they talk about a "special feeling" and other such meaningless statements.

It isn't better, I'm not claiming that it is. Compared to FM4, GT5 was a letdown. Despite that, there really is something that's different about a GT game.

However, to be real honest, I haven't found that feeling since GT4.

It's a real shame they never made another Enthusia, that game was really something special.

But you can't say what.

I've been playing GT games since I was 5 starting with GT1, and have owned every game in the main series since then, and I honestly don't get this statement. NFS has something that makes it different. Forza has something that makes it different. Honestly, this logic can be applied not only to other racing games but just about everything else.

But you can't say what.

Neither could amar212. But he also feels this same feeling. The argument could be made that this can be said of any game, yes. There is something special you feel from a Forza game, or a NFS game. GT also has that for me.
