Forza Horizon 2 General Discussion Thread

I made a design for the ACR Viper (the original shape one) that's just blue with white stripes like the GTS.

It has proven fairly popular.
 
January Car Clue Thread is up. Here are the clues

Car 1: Born in a new era where a large part of the world was redefining itself.

Car 2: The original rad vehicle that opened up the great outdoors to many more enthusiasts.

Car 3: The smile on its face will put a smile on your face. MORE WAGON!

Car 4: Mr. Whipple will undoubtedly make you "Enjoy the go."

Car 5: First in Forza!

Car 6: "I don't believe I was going over 55." "You were going 55 backwards"
 
I got nothing, I honestly don't get the context for any of those clues.
 
I want to say car 3 is that damn Ford Wagon from the first Horizon. I can't say for sure though.

Clue 6 is a quote from a Burt Reynolds movie. I just don't know what car would be for that clue.
 
Some people believe 5 refers to the Wraith. I do hope so. Number 1 to me could be the i8.
 
Clue 5: As for the rest, a Mazdaspeed 3 is likely. They are probably going for more "offroad" vehicles this time around.

What do they mean by "first in Forza"?

The first time it's ever appeared in a Forza game or it was the first ever car to appear in Forza?

Though I would hope your wrong

The Lotus Carlton, XJ220 and Bugatti are the 3 360 exclusives I would prefer as the free car.

But with that said they will all probably show up in a future pack eventually so i will just have to be patient and wait ;)
 
Isn't the Ferrari 575 Maranello in the 360 version? I'd rather have this instead of the Carlton or Bugatti.

Yup, bought it yesterday and managed 320 k's on the highway (before i crashed out).
 
Do you guys think the Nissan Leaf will be #6 since it set a record for doing 55 in reverse?

And I would laugh, then turn it into a C or B class rally car for good measure. :lol:

I would be happy with any of the following from that scene: the Ranchero, the BRAT, the backwards-driving Chevy truck, or (especially) the Scout.

But there were in Horizon 1

Horizon 1 is based in Colorado in the USA.. A country where Peugeots and Citroens aren't for sale.

Half of Horizon 2 is based in France, Where Citroens and Peugeots are made..

I don't know maybe I'm over analysing this :P

That's something I still can't wrap my head around, how in the world could Turn 10 & Playground Games forget about Peugeot & Citroen when they were in previous Forza installments?! :odd:
 
Maybe they aren't "exciting" to drive. Or something like that.
 
Would be nice if they teased instead with really obscure cut-out shots of the cars.

The 205 is a great car to drive, I actually went to buy one in the shop only to find out there wasn't one.. I was disappointed :(
