Decided to play some Forza Horizon 2. Also, I do really like the classic Lancia Fulvia, and I hope it returns to Forza Horizon 5 in a future update.

So Forza Horizon 2 and other previous Forza games have been getting PC recomps, with the ability to mod cars from later Forza games to the old games.

I don't mind, MS has no intention to bring these games to modern platforms in any capacity and licensing would be a nightmare even if they tried, this at least allows more people to try it and it's preserved exactly as it was with no cuts or alterations. Good thing overall

They seem to be vibe-coded AI rubbish, as is par for the course recently. The releases I've seen have been closed-source donationware, possibly to hide them ripping off human-authored projects that run FH2 on PC like WinDurango for personal profit.

Forza games have always been moddable outside of platform restrictions, and porting cars between games was already a thing before these vibe-coded wrappers.
