Or maybe it was a hacked, modded version of the game.
Unfortunately the videos got taken down before I could watch them.
Does the real Cobra R have such a decal? Can't find any pictures of it.

I doubt its modded, especially since there's a lot more interesting areas of the game that could be altered besides applying windscreen decals. I can't find a real picture of it with the decal either, so my only real guess is that it was either part of a press car or was done by an owner who allowed for their car to be used; both of which hint at being remodelled.

Are roadtrips not part of the 360 version?

Doesn't appear so. Just seems like you pick a car, do a championship in a specific area, and then move on to the next one when you've finished.

So close, and yet so far:
:p

:D Hell yeah. I always told myself that if an E28 somehow made it's way into the Xbone version, I would probably be £400 poorer. But that gameplay has definitely sold me on the 360, and an E28 M5 in an open world racing game is pretty awesome. :D

Still, if they do decide to add an E28 as DLC for the Xbox One, then that might tempt me.

:( I can't see a good reason for this; nor the reason to put up more barriers too. Maybe it's to entice people to get the "better version" on the One.:irked:

Though I'm surprised they actually took the time to model the newer cars like The Mclaren P1 and the LaFerrari seeing as they were not in any Forza game prior to FM5. Didn't expect that!

True, although I suspect the idea for more barriers wasn't done to deliberately hinder the game's quality. The original Horizon was said to push the 360 to the technical limit. Considering the map is a whole lot larger, has way more open space (from what was shown at least), more cars and wasn't even made by its original development team, that's very impressive to me, all things considered. Don't get the reason for lack of road trips though.

As for the cars, I'm also impressed that they went and added the more 'normal' new additions, like the Astra VXR. Also like the additions of the more niche cars, like the Legacy RS and the Lotus Carlton; those were the sort of cars I expected to see in Horizon 1, rather than the glut of supercars and the odd cult classic (although DLC did help). If I have one nitpick, its that I feel there were a lot of other great enthusiast choices that could've been brought over from 4. MGB, Austin Healey 3000, Lincoln Continental, and so on. The E28 and the Carlton are great, but it feels as though they have nothing to compete against really. This is me just saying 'what if' though, its still a great list.

I notice that The One version has the 1962 250 GTO and the 360 Version has the 1964 250 GTO. What's the difference?

The 1962 model looks like this:

And the 1964 model looks like this:

Both mechanically identical to my knowledge, although the Series II (1964 car) is deemed the less attractive out of the two. Part of the reason why Turn 10 modelled the Series I for Forza 5 instead.

Yeah, that's what baffles me, there was a Bowler in Forza Horizon 1's dlc, but I can't fathom why Sumo couldn't put it in Horizon 2.

^ This.

Makes more sense from a realistic point of view too. A right-hand drive model is going to be more likely in Europe than seeing a USDM version, just because of the logistics of it all.

Sigh... hello there, this is the European version of the HONDA Integra Type R:

Honda_Integra_Type-R_front.jpg
I see the other version more, strangely. Plus it's sexier.

It's like how the us spec defender is in; yeah it may be out of place, but it's so much more awesome cos of the v8 engine. So I'd go with the JDM version personally.

That's odd, Forza 4 had both the JDM and USDM Integras. I suppose they didn't feel like modelling 2 similar cars, but still. I also kinda prefer the look of the JDM Integras myself; there was a used Acura Integra on craigslist once that I wanted just because it had a JDM front end conversion, my friends thought I was crazy for saying that.

It doesn't matter, it's the same car anyway.
The point is why is it in the 360 version and not in the Xb1?
The model from FM5 is there, where as it wasn't there in Horizon 1, so they had to put the effort into making all the lights work. That is what confuses me here.

I would want it too

Yeah, I could go on about this actually. I had a similar reason for wanting a couple of Nissan S13 240SXs, there was one with a R32 Skyline front end and another with a S13 Silvia front end. Oh, and then there was that offer for an actual Ford Sierra Sapphire Cosworth, but that was unfortunately way out of my price range (15k).

Anyway, there's also a lot of cars from Horizon 1 that I can't figure out why Sumo couldn't put them in Horizon 2 other than the fact they didn't have enough time, didn't want the 360 version to look too good on car content, or they just didn't think it would matter. The third reason I'm guessing is what happened.

Here's a few examples I can list: 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429, Chevrolet Corvette GS Vert (C6), Ford Focus SVT, 1995 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R, 2012 Aston Martin Vanquish, BMW M135i, Ferrari F50 GT, & much more.

Honestly, I'm thinking about getting the 360 version as well. I've got my XB1 hooked up to my TV, but next to it I've got a much smaller TV with the 360 hooked up to it. I play Minecraft or FH1 on the 360/small TV while also watching baseball or football (NFL, MLS, Premier League) on the big TV. Getting FH2 for the 360 would let me get my southern European freeroaming jollies on while still keeping up with sports.

I also found these cars in the 360 version!
1969 Dodge Charger Daytona Hemi 262,000 credits :-)
2002 Ferrari 575 Marenello 130,000 Credits
1990 Lotus Carlton 29,000 Credits
2011 Lotus Evora 50,000 Credits
1993 Jaguar XJ220 200,000 Credits
1992 Bugatti EB110 SS 240,000 Credits
As for the second part, I have no idea, I assume for launch they will be 360 exclusive, but they could be future DLC for the X1. Personally I'd love to see the Carlton, Legacy RS and the XJ220 in the XB1 version, but who knows!

Oh man... that is a sweet list. The wait's almost killing me now.

So lads, a little off-topic but I beat Flynt in the final race and then ... whaath!? I'm taken to a stand off that starts with a long stretch of freeway. I tried to beat him with a fully decked out 599XX, then a maxed out Veyron Supersport... I don't know what the heck happens after 55%.. he just catches up outta nowhere! Hmm.. do I sense rubber banding?

Here's a kicker though: I'm only 46% through in the game. Man o man am I going to have fun with Horizon 1 and 2!
Ahh... good time to be an X360 gamer. :D

Probably because they imported the Japanese version to UK, since they are RHD.
Sexier is a matter of taste, but I always thought the JDM version looks more generic, not so special.
Ok let's move on now...:O

The UK got the Acura face on our official Honda Integra imports.

Watching that Russian gameplay footage, I was taken with the number of colors available for the '69 Camaro. Remember when cars came in colors, and not just every shade of gray between white and black?

Having the Lotus Carlton is awesome (yes, I do have a general soft-spot for super-saloons) but there are some cars that would have been amazing to have. As some others have said, the Lincoln Continental from FM4 would have been so ridiculously out of place in Southern Europe, but hilarious to roll around in. Disappointing to see the Range Rover and Eagle Speedster from FH1 missing too, they were both good fun.
