This (Polish?) guy from the MotoGamesTV channel is a pretty good driver. I also dig his taste in music. Horizon could be the game to change car lovers into classical music lovers lol.

There is a mandatory software update that took me about 30 minutes to download, add to that however long it takes you to plug the console in, set up a connection, etc.

The game kicks ass guys, you're going to love it. Thanks to Amazon for shipping mine on Sunday and even though it was scheduled for Tuesday delivery, somehow UPS scheduled it for today. Took about 30 minutes though for the game to install and I've already played about 2 hours.

If you look at the difference between the 360 and One versions you really notice the difference a next gen console makes. This game looks absolutely stunning on the Xbone i must say. Haven't seen nature and country roads being portrayed this beautifully in any racing game so far, on top of the fact that the car models already look perfect.

Also like Darren points out in the ISR video review, the cockpit views and steering animations look better than in FM5.

Aii yaii yaiii! Really itching to get an X1 now. Great news the cockpit animations have been improved. How are the particle effects this time around? Namely tire smoke...

I could be playing in an hours' time, but I want a physical copy of the game, so I have to wait 'till tomorrow after work, 24 more hours.:scared:
 
One major annoyance:

I can't map keys. I want to use default layout 11 but I would like to be able to map a button to change views, PG. :ouch:

I'm still going for the 360 version and I think I'll still have fun with it.
I still just feel like waiting a while before getting another game console and I'm sticking with my plan to get a Xbox one when Forza 6 comes out.

This is my plan too.

I'm very, very tempted by FH2, but I think I'll be more satisfied if I wait another year and get an X1 with the FM6 release.

Darin Gangi's review said pretty much the same thing about free look. It was pretty much his only gripe with the game.
 
Having spotted my first Tesla Model S the other day, I can't wait to try it in Horizon 2. I've used it in GT6, but it's not the same.

Looking at photomode shots on here and the official site, I've noticed there's no watermark on the exported images. Please let that be their design choice and not an oversight that they'll patch back in. They look even better for not having the logo in the corner.

Why don't you just go to the store and buy it then you can play right away? Then you could turn that frown upside down. :)

I will keep an eye on the forums and feedback for H2 and if everything is still going well, then I will pick it up on my way home after work today.
 
Since some folks seem to be gearing themselves to play the game, I have a question I would very much like to have answered, if possible.

When you're playing offline, do the drivatars actually use player created designs or do they use some only those pre-made designs?
