The Königsegg in the demo didn't have any problems to drive on the grass. No assists, sim steering.
It doesn't really matter to me, unless the game forces me to
participate in an offroad event with an F40, which I doubt.

I cannot use sim handling. There is this stupid snap oversteer crap, where any corrections to a slide result in you being dramatically slung in the other direction.

Surprised that These aren't in FH2. Saw this today btw.

It takes a while getting used to, but it's worth it(the fun) imo. :)

Yup I call that the Gran Turismo effect. I also do not race with Sim steering in any Forza game. All my other assists are off. But yes that sim steering sure as heck only seems to be for the steering wheel. I have tried that sim setting using a controller and it is for sure the GT effect with snap over steering. I am sure with a wheel that setting is very fun, with the controller, it is a nightmare.

I have an Aldi store 2 miles from my house. Heard you have to rent a cart but I have never been to it.

Drifting in gt is a piece of cake, and with normal handling in forza. But simulation? :scared:

Nope. Aldi is the ONLY store around that requires you to "rent" a cart to buy food or products from their store. :lol:

I wonder if that is the same Fisker Karma I spotted just down from my house about a month ago. (We both live in Michigan) I posted the pics in the "Did you see anything good today" thread. In fact I didn't even know what the car was until I posted on this site and everyone quickly let me know it was called a Fisker Karma.

It was the only one that I've seen besides one that I saw at the Detroit auto show.

It takes a LOT of getting used to, no question about it.. on a controller. Keep practicing, you'll get the hang of it. Very rewarding. And turn off those motion effects, they throw you off around corners and during slides.

You're right about that.. it is quite sensitive which I imagine can be tamed properly on a wheel. However, I use SIM just for the additional challenge and it just forces you to be a really good precision driver. For me, precision is always better than drifting into/out of corners.

Drifting on normal is just way too easy and straightforward. If you're good with making literally millimeter corrections on the analog stick and holding it at a particular angle, you'll do just fine with SIM.
 
Oh man, HRE are some of the sexiest wheels on the market! The P101 looks good on anything modern and the four Vintage wheels, especially the flat face 935 are gonna look epic on a mean E36.
