We have a Leak Alert for the upcoming Forza Horizon 3, in which I know is gonna be release this fall.

Why is that? Well, I just found this 3 second leaked video on Dailymotion featuring what appears to be an unkown modern super car driving in a sunny countryside road with big bushes/shrubs, and both had the "ALL XBOX ONE GAME FOOTAGE" at the bottom left of the video, as well as the logo for Forza Horizon 3. Not to mention that this was recorded with a digital camera.

Like with the Leaked Info on Forza Motorsport 6, we shouldn't jump to conclusions on a 3 second leaked video relating to FH3, because when it comes to leak info/videos on an upcoming video game/movie, we won't know if that leaked info/video is real or not. Only Playground Games and Turn 10 can confirm if this is fake or not, and we'll have to wait till Microsoft's Xbox One Event at the end of this month to see of FH3's announced there, and if not, then we'll just gonna have to wait 4 months till E3 2016.

Still, I'm looking forward to what Playground Games and Turn 10 have instored for the announcement for Forza Horizon 3.

Couldn't place where that might be set from that clip, but great find.

It could be England, as that's pretty much how our roads are marked. They needn't be driving on the correct side of the road in the video after all.

What was the list of locations again? Colorado, Italy/France, ...?

Wasn't Australia on there?

That Red car it's maybe the 488 GTB; and she will be the Covercar of the game.
i have the suspect of the most new and exciting modern cars are not in FM6 but they reserved to be in FH3.

Hmmmmmm, could easily be someone playing around w/after effects in there spare time but it is quite convincing. Jury's still out.

Australia was one of the top locations for a Horizon game, as well as California and the previous two games locations (South Europe/Colorado) so don't be surprised if it's one of those two and not Japan.

I just hope they announce it at the MS event later this month rather than wait till E3.

The road markings and scenery certainly seem to suggest that it could be set in Australia.

We can't be sure just yet, because every new Forza Game always uses a brand new car as the cover car for it. Like how the 2014 Lamborghini Huracan was the Cover Car for Forza Horizon 2, and how the 2016/2017 Ford GT was the cover car for Forza Motorsport 6.

Like I said, we don't know if the video is fake or not, and I too am hoping to see FH3 announced at the end of this month.

But in a game like Horizon, what does driving on the right or left side of the road matter? I mean, other than passing traffic, I see no issue in a racing game. In Horizon 2, I was all over the road like a maniac.

I think it's real. If it were a hoax then why would they post it on Dailymotion, rather than youtube? And why would we find out about it a week after it's been posted?

As for the cover car- I don't think it's the 488. I think it'll be either the new FF or the F12 TDF.

Definitely looks like Australia to me.

Edit: The car is driving on the righthand side of the road so I doubt it's Australia. It's not US style road markings but the geography is similar to Southern California/Nevada/Utah/Arizona. I'm inclined to think somewhere in southern Europe. Possibly Spain or Portugal.

NEW VIDEO!!!
the gameplay screenshot is 101% fake. The car look like it belongs to a mobile game and the screen itself is of a mobile. the boxart seems more realistic but there something wrong in the perspective and the coming soon isn't right unless they unveil the game on the microsoft event (25 feb).

The gameplay shot looks more like Horizon 2. The Box art looks convincing though.

That one video suggests it's a RHD road, and the fact it looks like a non human driver is controlling it and staying between the lines it seems clearly RHD.

The road does have white line markings, however our lines in the middle definitely have more gaps between them.
this looks like it's in Europe or southern South America or something as the brown doesn't really look natural in that shot as if it's caused by being off centre from the projector screen.

If you look at the vegetation in detail it looks far too dense to be a country region of Australia.

I think white lines and RHD take out alot of options, Im pretty sure South America uses yellow?

If it is mirrored which I doubt because of the fact the game title is in the right way my guess would be South Africa.

My guess is it will be Southern Europe, or somewhere like Argentina.

The Audi R8 in the screenshot doesn't appear very convincing.
True dat. Also it's funny how it's in yellow like the previous cover cars. What is this!? lol.

Speaking as someone in Australia, I'm hoping it's not in some ways - a bit of an over generalisation but directions here are along the lines of:
  1. Pull out of driveway
  2. Turn to direction of destination
  3. Set cruise control & lock steering to straight ahead
  4. Awake to negotiate the single bend
  5. Go back to sleep, or full Aussie - crack another stubbie.
  6. Arrive
  7. Pull in at destination

That^

There are some great roads, and some great bush tracks but for the vast majority, it's rather tedious to drive.

If they had Australia, it might have to work sort of like 'The Crew' map of the US. All the best bits vaguely blended together.
