So basically paint all cars based on these colours, rather than in-game colours.

It's just that in my case, I really liked that particular colour on the Vanquish, as shown in the game.

Thanks for the replies gents.
I’m not sure what to tell you lad :( Here we strive for accuracy and to recreate car colors as they’re supposed to appear in real life. If you want that color based on the game version, I’m sure someone could do it but it wouldn’t be added to the chart since the actual Viridian Green is already on there.

Understood.

I'm not asking for anything from you. I just didn't think that the colours are based off the real world. My assumption was that they were recreations of the in-game colours (factory colours), for those that wanted to replicate them on other cars.

Hence my initial post, where I found my small tweaks to better match the factory paint of the 2012 Vanquish.

Thanks again.

Hello!

First and foremost, I want to thank you guys for your hard work in creating these beautiful colors. I appreciate Forza a lot more now!

Can I just get some clarification for what L and R means?

Thanks

I'm pretty sure all of those colors except the Ford one and the Porsche white are in the spreadsheet.

I don’t see them, but I might have missed them.

Aetna Blue (Porsche)

Paint Type:

I did Aetna Blue as one of the first colors I did, but i spelled it like this. As for Oro Adonis, @MadaraxUchiha has said a couple if times that he will do it with a bunch of other Lamborghini colors; however, it remains undone. He also did Barcelona Red a while back and has already had one person question its accuracy. He said it was a hard color to get right. @MadaraxUchiha, maybe you could revisut this color with your increased skill replicating colors and new techniques?

I’ll redo Barcelona Red and Oro Adonis is also still in my list of colors to do :)

For people that make a lot of requests you guys sure do complain a lot and not fully appreciate what we do here ‘-.- I’ll do the color you’re requesting, though. The one on the chart is used on the older Corvettes and is accurate. @JaCor653 or @Mitcho2001 did it and I have no doubts about its accuracy. The one you’re requesting has a paint code that’s WA933L. When I add it to the chart it’ll be shown as Lemans Blue (WA933L) to differentiate it from the other one.

Edit: It’s on the chart now. Enjoy :)

thx for adding it. i know i tend to complain a bit but its more of a bad habit of mine. just usually do so when i have to wait for a long time for something i want to see get done.

anyways thx again for the color now i just need someone to do the right stripes for the corvette now. no one did a proper job of them yet.

You do realize we have lives outside of this, right? If things don’t get done right away that’s just the way things are. Please be respectful towards us and what we do and don’t rush us because that will definitely make people annoyed/mad. We do this as a side project, not as our job and we’re definitely not getting paid for any of this either. In the future be mindful of how you go about requesting things from us.

I’ll see what I can do about these. I thought Poison Ivy was added to the chart a very long time ago but I guess it wasn’t. I remember it being requested a long time ago too. They’ll get done, but be patient as I have other things going on as well. Please don’t rush me or anything like that.

So my problem with trying to replicate those colors is that the reference images provided aren’t actual photos but CG images so the colors won’t look how they’re supposed to in real life because they aren’t real life examples, more like approximations. You can see how dark all of them look in that picture because they all seem to have the same kind of light source.

4 Toyota colors:
3H4 - Medium Red Pearl (1990-1991 Celica)
8G7 - Medium Blue Pearl (1990-1991 Celica)
749 - Teal Metallic (1992-1993 Celica)
742 - Aquamarine Pearl (1991 Celica)

2 Nissan wheel colors:
KH2 - Gunmetal Gray
JP2 - Outback Gold? (name might need a check)
