The reference picture I used wasn’t as saturated as that one which is why the version I did looks different :( Yours looks a lot better, though.

Thank you  I saw a reference that caught my attention which was emphasizing the brightness of the highlight as well as the hue, so i changed primarily that and saturated it more.. This is a color that i really like so i just couldn't help myself on changing it

Well, we're here to make accurate colors so I'd say that you've done that :) It's better than the one I did. Does it still look the same if you use your values but change it to metal flake instead of two-tone polished? I believe the actual paint job is a metal flake one.

The original is indeed a metal flake, i havent tried my version with metal flake, but naturally two-tone is darker anyways, i will try later, right now im going to get some sleep... or try to... This quarantine has given me insomnia quite a few times already

can somebody please recreate porsche PTS oak green metallic?

Hello everyone,

I have been wondering if there is a reverse directory based on the stock paint colours for each vehicle (ie. Vehicle brand: X, Model: Y; Stock Paint 1: Ruby Red, “ 2: Sapphire Blue, “ 3: Emerald Green, “ 4: Diamond White, etc.).

This would also be an interesting way to double check the accuracy of the paints generated by the talented contributors here that are currently on the spreadsheet, and are present on different vehicle models that utilize those paints as stock options.

You’re thinking of the website PaintRef lol

Welp, I'm going to do something unoriginal. I want to recreate the Crayola colors just to see what it looks like. I'll get a couple in this week to see what you think.
What’s unoriginal about that? I do stuff like that all the time with my cars :) I get colors from real life photos of things (jade stones, scenery pictures, etc.) and I also make car colors out of various house paints as well from manufacturers like Behr and stuff because the possibilities are endless and only limited by your own imagination :) That way I have many unique car colors that don’t exist and probably never will ;) I have thousands of colors saved that I have the values for. It’s really cool coming up with a color that’s based on liquid nitrogen smoke :)

Here's my first batch. I used the Veloster since it already has a rainbow of colors, so what's another 140+ :)

All are Semigloss unless noted otherwise:

I was thinking more on the lines of just the paint on the vehicles in the garage when they come in their stock configurations, if that makes sense, opposed to all of the paint codes for each manufacturer. Does paint ref accomplish this, yes. Would this have been an unnecessary undertaking of mine to go through the horizon garage to “label” the paint codes with their accurate name, probably!
Basically, this would just be a way to double check current colour codes in the directory.

Hey guys, i'm new here, and I wanted to ask you about a few colours. I don't know if any of them have been recreated, but if they have, where could I possibly find them?
Porsche's Ruby Stone Red
Cy9UzZRKdEvUkHDj7

Mercedes's Green Hell Magno, because I think the version in FH4 is kinda too dark.
MDUcQFdAMcDsfNH3A

And Lamborghini's Montreal Blue
YV9p3Mx2wKY3BHtv9

That is probably it, and I just want to say, since I live in Czech Republic and Škoda Is a Czech manufacturer, I must say that the Škoda Colours that have been recreated have been pretty accurate!👍

Hey guys, it's been great seeing the results of your hard work, so keep up the good work! Also it's been a while since I requested a color, so here's one I had recently come across watching a video on YouTube, and I didn't see it on the list. (Side note: Really hoping we get a classic Europa in the game at some point.)

Roman Purple:

And now for a bit of a challenge, as we have just been able to get the 205 Rallye starting yesterday, I went searching for pictures of the 205 Rallye in blue to request, as it comes with a factory color blue in game, and according to Wikipedia, it had 80 made in that color and is a 1994 model year color, one of three offered (white and yellow, which we already have). However here lies the issue, I can only find one image that shows the car in blue, but I don't know if it's the correct blue, nor do I know the name of the color, and I checked Paintref to no avail. I do, however, know that the colors of the cars correspond to the colors on the Peugeot Talbot Sport logo, which narrows it down to two, a navy blue, which I believe is the one I found (sort of, not navy blue) and the blue that is found in game, so hopefully with more people looking for this color, we can get a better result? I am attaching the photo I found for reference:

I'll do that Lotus color. As for the Peugeot color, I don't know. Replicating the color is the easy part. Finding a name and what not, that is the challenge.

Thanks! Yeah, I feel finding the color name might be a needle in a haystack so to speak, mostly due to the small production run of the car, the fact that there isn't very much information on the car, and Hot Wheels naming a 205 a rallye, same spelling, despite it being a 205 rally car, and not the model itself. Also something to note, if it were the lighter blue like FH4 has it, the color is incorrect, both on the car and the stripe. It would be a much lighter blue than what we have presently.

I love Madeira Metallic on the Jaguar XJ220 in GT2, could I get that one?

Fantastic work you guys been doing for the past 2 years, probably 70% of all my cars in forza are custom painted by this site.

Now all that aside, i want to request a color:

Mercedes Iridium Silver Metallic

View attachment 923182

Now, i know Designo Magno Iridium Silver is on the color sheet, lovely color, but this is the metallic version of it,as you can see. I tried replicating it but i couldn't come even close, i used metal flake since it was the best option but it mine looks too dull, plus the fact that is winter in forza currently so 80% of the time the enviroment lighting is too dark, making my work impossible.
So maybe someone more skilled can make this, i would appreciate that.
