Is anyone else suffering from audio issues more frequently after the last patch?

I suffered my first ever audio issue on PC the other day after going from Fortune Island to Great Britain via the Fortune Island menu, completely lost all audio from the game. I had to exit to the desktop and restart, other than that though I'm not having any further issues.
 
Looks like PG is sending out the santa outfit via gift messages if you don't want to waste your time slinging understeering race trucks around tiny gravel circuits for nothing because someone in your lobby forgot to set their game to Unbeatable.

Wonder if they'll do the same for the Mosler next week.
 
I'm still a bit annoyed by this: I did the single qualifying match for the current Ranked Team Adventure series, and it now says I'm Rank 20.

However, if you look at my points total, it should be Rank 10.

Rank 10 is also what prizes I should receive up to, according to the prize page.

However, when I return back to main menu, it still says I'm Rank 20.

In the previous Ranked Adventure series, the game indicated (on the screen displaying what prizes were available from the various rankings) that I would receive up to rank 10 at the end of the series. But when I went back to the Main Team Adventure menu, it said only up to Rank 11. In the end, I only received up to Rank 11, even though the game indicated I was Rank 10.

Based on that experience, I would bet that during this Series, I will receive only up to Rank 20, the worst ranking.

This has affected at least one other person, I see [FIN!] Eucalyptuus has the same problem that I do.

I do love how the Capri FE is a grandmaster prize car (sarcasm) I know really it’s nothing but I do love collecting cars and it being locked there is a bit of pain, more of pain is that how they gave Don Joewon Song one for free, but you know what sells I guess

Recently got to what I think is 100% on FH4 cannoy really tell as properties read 17/12 and stars for events are 150/120. :lol:
 
The Camaro ZL1 and ZL1 1LE have 1 PI point difference when stock. I took both around the Kraken for 3 laps in their stock configuration, and the 1LE's best lap was half a second faster than the one I did in the normal one. The wing's not even adjustable, so much like the 650S Spider, I wonder what's ultimately the point of it...

I'm giving up on the S-Bends Drift Zone. I've put in more than four hours trying to three-star it and the closest I've gotten is 73,000 out of the needed 90,000 points. I just can't do it.
 
For this week there is no extra free car on top of the 2 car pass cars right? Usually there is one in the Forzathon shop (top center tile).

Good to see they gifted that Santa outfit as this concept of a team championship vs. unbeatable drivatars is absolute garbage.

What car are you using? A colleague of mine was trying it for hours and hours on our lunch break at work but he got there eventually. I used the Hoonitruck on it as it's basically cheat mode for drifting because of how sideways you can get it!

It's not even the concept. The concept is honestly fine but the reward allocation is just next level.

To this day, nobody knows what "come 1st against Unbeatable drivatars" actually means (and nobody from PG has given a clear answer):

1. Does everyone in the lobby need to manually set their game to unbeatable or does the event force it? Or does only the host need to do it? Or just you yourself?

2. Does "come 1st" mean winning the championship as a team?

3. Or does it mean winning the championship as an individual player, in which case why make this a co-op event?

4. Or do you just need to win a race as a team?

5. Or do you, yourself, need to win a race, in which case gg to the rest of the team who have just wasted their time?
 
I’m hoping the instability I experienced along with JR98 and CVPI93 a couple of days ago has now been dealt with, but I still need to test the game’s stability, ideally in a group of at least two or three players. Therefore, I am calling on any volunteers able to play Forza Horizon 4 in the next four hours to please contact me.

I intend to run laps of Goliath, for the purposes of money grinding and to test the ability to run multiplayer races. Hopefully, running Goliath should give volunteers sufficient compensation for their time. If you don’t mind giving up an hour or two of your time, don’t mind the potential for game crashes, and are willing to run at least three laps of Goliath, please contact me, either in this thread or through direct messages.

EDIT: Having run a race with my friends, it appears that the game is now more stable. My appeal for volunteers has now been withdrawn.

I've used the Hoonitruck. I've also used all seven Formula Drift cars, the Diberti Silverado, a drift-tuned NA Miata I was promised can three-star every drift zone, the BMW M6 FE, a drift-tuned Jag XK120, and about a dozen other cars. I even tried a fully modded Peel Trident. Nothing works for me.

I found it easiest to do the S Bends drift zone in the winter, bizarrely. The icy road really helped to keep the truck sliding

Two weeks until it's winter again is just about the right amount of time for me to cool down and reattempt it without being on the verge of rage quitting.
