A funny thing I just noticed: PG switched the order of tiered rewards in the seasonal championships as of a few weeks ago, as in the "top" prize is rewarded to you first and the "worst" last in the post-race sequence. So, this week for example, the ultimate prize the game presents to you in the unskippable championship screen is...15k credits.
 
Ok, I'm done. I get a good team and then some asshat wants to be the one to ram everyone off the track and we lose. I'm.....done...with...this...🤬
 
I gotta say FH4 may be tied with or close to FM7 as having the best car roster. Even though FM7 has around 300 more cars it's the variety and history where horizon gets close and each week of dlc seems to bring something nice to the table minus the repetitive 650s and that supercharged mustang 5.0.
 
My seven attempts to win the Mosler went like this:
L 0-3
L 0-3
L 0-3
L 0-3
L 0-3
L 1-2 (I won the second race in the series)
W 3-0 (I won the second race in the series, it was our only win, but we outscored them in each race)

I was very good on the second and third races, sucked on the first one. The only reason my team won the last series is because there were only two of us on the team. We only actually won one race, the second one, but we massively outscored the red team on each race, simply because there were only two of us. We scored points for every red car that finished behind us. But the red team could only score points against our two cars. The most points any one red team car can earn is 250, but we could score as much as 1050.
 
I finally got the Mosler! I got matched with some competent players this time round and we were able to win 2/3 rounds. Jeez though, I can't believe I had to try 8 times to get this car just because of bad players. Now, I know how cod players feel like in Team Deathmatch when their teammates stink.
 
Yes, it took more than a few tries to get the Mosler, but my experiences with the other players wasn't too terrible (other than them finishing last). Perhaps that was because for the most part I was ahead of them, and drove carefully. I would have gotten the Mosler the first try, but I disconnected in the last race (we had already won 2/3). Yes it requires a little work and luck to get it, but I think it's definitely possible to do.
In one series, I finished so far ahead in the first race that no one else finished, not even the AI. That didn't bode well for the rest of that series. :lol:

Might as well share my story - I only completed the trial once and that was thanks to a lobby which started out with 6 players. The first race we lost, but the 2 worst performing players left the lobby so my team would have the upper hand, provided we all finished in the upper half of the standings. While the leading Drivatar blitzed off into the distance, the team managed to hold off the majority of the drivatars and (I'm presuming) four of us ended with new Moslers in our garages. :)

Moral of the story: If your gonna be a dead weight during the trial, leave in the first race and get yourself a more competent car before retrying the race. Let the rest of us earn our prize! :p
 
I tried the seasonal co-op last night with a 4wd 1145hp 2700lb full-aero 998S2 Zonda Cinque.
I'd have to check but I believe it may have rally tires to keep it S2.

I won the first 3 races and lost 1-2.
I won the first 2 races and got 2nd in race 3, and lost 0-3.
I tried an S1 Aventador, hoping to see some S1 AI cars, but they only used one each series. Lost both but finished as high as 3rd overall in some events and learned I'd rather lose by winning than having a slow car.
Back in the Zonda C.
Won first 2 races, got stuck in traffic and came 9th, but won 3-0. :)

Moral of the story is you can win every single race and lose, but if you don't win every single race you will still lose.

I think it's because I started the game a main map and I went to Fortune Island and it was still counting when I was doing a race over there.
 
I got the Mosler in my first trial, maybe I just got lucky......or you guys are unlucky :lol:
 
I can confidently say that I think the Mosler is the new best S2 car in the game. It's not as quick in a straight line as the FXX, but it has cornering that rivals even the Senna. I could get about 644HP out of it before it went into X class. With rally tires I should be able to get close to 750HP.

Really doubt you'll find anyone willing to sell considering it can only be won once and nobody knows when they might have a chance to get it again. I’d just keep trying until you get in a race where some of your group drops out after the first event, the circuit is far more difficult than the two point to point races which have plenty of wall riding opportunities if you're really struggling.
 
The 2 rarest cars I have got are the London Taxi and the Dodge Demon I just can't manage to get the Mosler anywhere. I can't be bothered to do the seasonal event because people keep crashing into me all the time:mad: So I keep trying the auction house I must of come across 12 for sale in total but every time people have beaten me to it thank god next weeks season cars are easier to get enough said.

Decided to try the trial after being too annoyed to deal with not owning the Mosler, amazingly won it first shot. Luckily I managed to clear the pack each time and win by at least 5s gifting the team with a significant chunk of points and also everybody but one drove cleanly (Praise!) If anybody is having trouble I'm willing to join you and help you out :gtpflag:

I lucked out on my third try when I ended up being alone with a Brazilian guy who quit after race one. If anybody needs help, message me here or on Xbox Live... May even bring out the Mosler for another go around.
