Grabbed the Porsche GT1 from the Auction House for a steal of a price! Only 1 mill :)
 
Bought the Alfa 33 Stradale. Only one car left.
 
Decided to try some cars that people forgot were added and use them in Adventures. I made an A Class Jarama and, didn't do well. A bit on the slow side, and with an almost all Bone Shaker grid...

I hope it's not a car because there is no way I'm doing that.
 
Getting the app on my phone so I can watch it at work tomorrow.

It's probably for the Anniversary, so maybe a big Credit/Influence/Spin reward or an Anniversary Edition of a car like what GT had for its 15th.
 
What time will the stream be on eastern standard time?

I was about to say. Hope I can find one in the action house or it comes as a reward later if it is a car.
 
I doubt it'll be a brand new car, it'll probably be an exclusive livery for something that already is in the game, or some piece of clothing, like they used to give out during the early FM7 streams.
 
I think they know people will flip out if it's something substantial like a car. Especially when you need to tune into a stream in the middle of a workday to get it.
 
There was such a backlash against giving cars for watching the ForzaRC streams last year that T10 not only didn't repeat it this year but also didn't renew the contract with the streaming company. Playground isn't that stupid.

Microsoft, however, could be! They want to give Mixer a little boost.

Why would you bring that up? What about people in Australia and Asia? They need to wake up in the middle of the night just for the stream. Beside every single stream was in the middle of US workday. Even when they gave exclusive clothing and liveries. Also I love to collect everything, so even an exclusive cloth is something substantial to me. :p

True. but the vast, lions share of Forza users are in western Europe and North America.

My guess is it'll be an anniversary themed jacket or something.
 
I don't think Mixer's exclusive prize is a car (at least a new exclusive car).
First, there are areas where viewing is difficult due to time differences. And there may be people who can not watch at work even if they are in an area where they can watch at an appropriate time.
If they do this, criticism from players who couldn't get it would be unavoidable and would ruin the memorial event of the first year.

Perhaps cosmetic items such as clothes and hats with the message “1st Anniversary” will be prized. Even if the car becomes a prize, it is an expensive autoshow cars like Ferrari 250 GTO. Or a rare model will be chosen among existing exclusive cars like Ferrari 812 and Ford Capri FE.
 
I'm personally hoping that the anniversary update is going to come with some big new feature that they've been working on for a while. Probably not, but it'd be nice.
 
Worst I could see it being is a new Horizon edition car. I am with everyone else though in assuming it's a livery or something.
 
Last time they gave an exclusive item linked to Mixer was a sweater, if I'm not mistaken.
 
I don't want to expect too much other than some exclusive clothed or livery design, so best we keep our expectations low to prevent a war zone. ;)

I doubt they will fiddle with this unless absolutely necessary. Developers have repeatedly stated it's a daunting task.

Shame I can imagine there's a lot of players including myself who are reaching the maximum available spaces.
 
Perhaps it will happen someday, but never in Series 14.
They said they were planning it on streaming in early August. However, the statement was denied in the streaming at the end of August. As long as they continue to add exclusive cars, one day will face this problem again. But they don't seem to have a sense of crisis yet.

It should be, but that is only for the Forza Monthly stream, iirc, and not the update stream.

The update streams have always been on that channel, at least as far as I can remember.
