It's going to be a Hoonigan tie-in, 100%. Most of the cars that aren't Gymkhana 11 reskins will be convertible versions of existing cars and the map will be a fictionalised San Francisco with a large abandoned airport nearby set up for stunts, mostly to give the probably costly Hoonigan license a purpose beyond spawning usable drift zone cars for people who haven't yet worked out how good some of the Cult cars are when tuned.

I'm only half serious about this but I can totally see it being a thing, there are a lot of Hoonigans in the game and they don't have much to do as there are far better cars for everything, it would make sense for the next expansion to be something that makes people want to use them for something. The only convincing argument against it, that I can come up with at least, is that the majority of players can barely even drift so there's no way they're going to ask players to drift with precision (amongst other things) in order to make progress. At the most they'd do a Ken Block story with easy 1-star requirements and cosmetic unlocks.

Although Ken Block Escort V2 may be included, but I think expansion 2 is unrelated to Hoonigan.
Because PG has already added most of his iconic cars to the game. What remains is only unobtrusive cars such as the F-150 and Bronco.

A little interesting news.
Microsoft has announced that a new game bar will be released, but screen shots of the sample show information on the mysterious gameplay saying "Forza Horizon 4 - Fujimo Kaido".

I think this is an image of a sample made in Photoshop, and I think that this "Fujimo Kaido" is unlikely to be a leak of information related to Fujimi Kaido's return or 2nd expansion.
But this is interesting news, in that they are not forgetting the iconic fantasy tracks of the Forza series.

Maybe hint for Forza Motorsport 8 for next gen Xbox?

If this does turn out to be legit, and there is a perfect recreation of Fujimi Kaido in the next expansion, there will be many Forza fans in need of new underpants when it gets announced.

Impossible but... what if it's another entirely new map in a new location? Fujimi Kaido, by itself, doesn't make much sense in an open world because it still is a closed circuit. After so much speculation that the game could be set in Japan, imagine the twist that that would be. Also, if it's something big enough to be worthy of an E3 announcement, like some here have suggested, could we be looking at something on that level?

By itself no, but it is a course made from public roads, So possible that the main Fujimi Kaido route could just be a part of a larger map.

I think it's just piss poor editing from Microsoft.

I just want the next expansion to be an extension of the regular map, even if it's just connected by a bridge or something. Yes, I understand why that probably isn't the case - but it would be so much better than these partitioned off islands.
Yeah agreed. I know it's not gonna happen, but I'm still gonna suggest this to be a thing always since it's just a better experience than what we've had in the past.

Does anyone use a G29 with the Drive hub on Horizon 4? Toying with the idea.
I haven't but from what I've read, nearly identical complaints from all kinds of wheel users, the key is setup.

I did some serious adjusting the other night with my G920(which people also complain doesn't work right with FH4) and I got it nailed down pretty good for myself.
I dialed rotation down to 570 and set steering linearity down to 34 I think.

My opinion is FH isn't really programmed for 900 degree steering, from what I can tell 540-720 is it's best range for wheels.

I managed a couple of good days on the game winning the JCW Buggy, JCW Countryman and 914/6 (at last!). I used the M5 FE for the German race. Full aero at max downforce and slightly detuned to allow for the aero. It certainly had the measure of the other racers though I did only finish second in the last race after two wins. I used the Range Rover Sport for the Winter Wonders and the 2004 Impreza for the EVO vs Impreza event. It did seem a bit faster than the opposition.

The Forza hub was down when I visited this afternoon. Is anyone else getting the same problem?

[EDIT] The website is fine, only the Windows 10 app seems to be affected. In game it looks like the Forza server is down and all online play and #Forzathon is disabled.

Recently reinstalled this game. I'm actually having a lot of fun with it. I honestly feel sort of bad for taking the game way too seriously before. I managed to get the JCW Buggy, 914/6, and 2018 Countryman today. 👍

Edit: The game must have missed me as well, because one of my super wheelspins gave me a Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. That's 3 now! :D

I hope not, I don't see Lego making any sense to be honest.
My thoughts exactly. I'm just not sure how it would work logistically, like is the new map all Lego style? Are the cars Lego too? How would the manufacturers be all good with this? Would the map then be editable since it's Lego? So many questions.

Though after Hot Wheels, Lego actually makes a lot of sense in terms of a brand to partner with.

I think Lego would be pretty dope. They already have the crumble physics from all the rock walls which would translate very well to Lego bricks.

Also, whats with all the hate for the Playlist? I quite like it. It actually gives an incentive/some direction in a very open world game which motivates me to actually play the game instead of just aimlessly driving around like I usually do.

The hot wheels expansion was criticized by folks back in the days of FH3, yet it turned out to be the best thing to ever happen. I mean, I wouldn't want a lego expansion either, because it wouldn't fit the theme of FH4. But if PG can let me build my own lego car like I did as a kid, that would be awesome!!!
