They change weekly just like before. If you look in the Forzathon screen you can see that we are in Summer now.

Seasonal events still exist too, they just don't have a tracking screen anymore, so you can only see the rewards when you enter a seasonal event. Just filter the map for seasonal events to see what I mean.
Thank you!!!

Anyone know what a Decemeber is...?

Well I've confirmed that the Forzathon shop resets, so you can get 1 Backstage Pass per week. 11 more weeks needed for me then... Thankfully I already have all the Forzathon Points I need.

Never been a big Horizon fan going back to the very first game, but had the urge to revisit this after seeing EA WRC still has performance issues and this is a great excuse to drive some of my favourite rally cars. Managed to pick up a Stratos, Delta (glad I did, as the seasonal to win it was an online group series) and a 5 Turbo FE (although I find that's only competitive in road/street races) in the AH. Looks like I'm gonna have a fair bit of homework between this and Motorsport.

Horizon 2 offers an incredible rally experience. You can have lots of rally races especially if you have the rally expansion and there's tonnes of rally and off roaders in the game.

After being told this game still has an active player base very recently, I haven't been able to connect to any sort of lobby... for unranked adventure, free-for-all racing, etc..

I can do Rivals and it can pull records of players, so there is a smidge of a connection to some online stuff, but just not a serve to join players into the same room for live activities. In two connection failed attempts, one failed connecting to West Europe and another to the Australia region... which leads me to think the North America server is either not available or next to no players left playing here.

If you're still playing, where in the world are you playing from?

There's different tech underlying those two systems - rivals / leaderboards are just basic web requests as far as I'm aware, but any matchmaking goes through Teredo, a Microsoft technology for translating between IPv4 and IPv6 network addresses. Teredo can be tremendously unreliable, and when I first bought FH4 I couldn't get matchmaking to work until fiddling on with behind-the-scenes Windows commands to use a different Teredo server. However, on another PC it works fine - just Windows being Windows. It might not necessarily be your issue, but Teredo is something to look into.

I had the same problem, couldn't connect online at all. I solved it by deleting all stored Xbox credentials, it's not the first time I've had to do this. My PC had something like 80+ of them stored, the whole thing seems to be horribly bugged and it just keeps creating more and more of them and at some point there's too many and it stops working. An AI helped me make a batch file to selectively delete all the Xbox ones automatically, if you want to try it, here it is:

cmdkey.exe /list > "%TEMP%\List.txt"
findstr /i "target=Xb" "%TEMP%\List.txt" > "%TEMP%\tokensonly.txt"
FOR /F "tokens=1,* delims= " %%G IN (%TEMP%\tokensonly.txt) DO cmdkey.exe /delete:%%H
del "%TEMP%\List.txt" /s /f /q
del "%TEMP%\tokensonly.txt" /s /f /q
echo Xbox-related credentials removed.
pause

You might need to run it as administrator for it to work, and you will of course have to log in to anything Xbox related again afterwards, but it got FH4 working again for me.
