The hype of GTA VI wouldn't have died in November
The game will still be big, but much of the hype will have died down by Holiday 2026. Rockstar will probably have Online's first Holiday event that will have eyes on it, but the game will have already made most of its sales by then. There will be Holiday buyers, but not enough a major title like Horizon 6 has to worry. If anything, a Fall release fits right in line with the Horizon games.

No! I don't want to repeat myself here constantly! The hype will still be high in the air by November 2026, the window of anywhere between August and December reveal and anywhere between January and April launch is the best one they have
Just because November 2026 is the anniversary month of Xbox, it doesn't mean FH6 should be launching at that time especially when Xbox 25 is a year long event

Come on team let's all relax, have a cuppa tea and our favourite biscuit. FH6 will release next year at some time. Like I said some of us will be right and some of us will be wrong.

Does it matter who is right and who is wrong? No. Not at all. The world is enough of a **** show as it is right now. Let's keep this little corner of it, OUR little corner of it a nice place.

There is no prize for correctly guessing the release window if FH6, it's just a bit of fun guessing on everyone's part. It should be fun, let's keep it fun.

Sorry for the rant but we've got a good crowd here compared to some other sites. Let's keep it that way.

Love you all really 🥰

It won't. You can look back at V; 11-12 million at launch, up to around 30 million in 2 months, and by the 6th month, around 33-34 million.

VI will more than likely follow this exact same trend, you can just swap out the numbers for probably 15+, 35+, & 40+ because of the hype and larger player population.

Who said anything about it being the anniversary month of Xbox? Fall is when every Horizon game has launched.

If I was a betting man (just betting, we're not talking wheelspins here) I'd go for a Q1 or Q4 release for FH6.

Q1 to kick off the 25th anniversary year of Xbox or a Q4 release to fit in with the holiday season as the Americans call it, or Xmas in the UK 😂😂.

I can't see it coming out in the middle of the year as that traditionally isn't a great time to release big titles.

Ultimately though time will tell, it will prove some us to have Nostradamus like abilities and others to be no more powerful than Mystic Meg (for non UK readers she was a fortune teller in newspapers and magazines over here).
No, you can't be serious! You've got it all wrong...

... Mystic Meg was ALWAYS 100% accurate ;)

Also, don't mention betting and wheelspins again, I've only just recovered from the last time ;)

It 's been FAR too long since we had a proper discussion about biscuits on here! It's got to be chocolate digestives, milk chocolate mind, none of that dark chocolate!

It won't be Fall, it will be in the Autumn I think ;)

Generally, who knows 🤷‍♂️ it really doesn't matter anyway. I'm sure we'll find something to do while we wait, we might even go outside... 😲

PS I wish I could go back two pages and add a post saying "skip the next 2 pages, tl:dr...
FH6 is coming out in Q1 26, no it's coming out in Q4, no it's coming out in Q1, no it's coming out in Q1..."

This thread has been going round in circles more than an Ouzelum bird! Google it

Anyway, must log in and spend my random free weekly 1100 FP before Thursday  Have been preoccupied doing other things again

@sirjim73 got to disagree here, dark chocolate is the way to go for the digestive, maybe with a hint of ginger mixed in.

Back to the game, I'm almost at the end of the rally campaign now. Was going to hop straight onto Hot Wheels but a bit put off now by the negative vibes regarding it here.

Dude you really have been out and about lately, you must be ready for a quiet night in in front of the TV.

I fully endorse your approval of milk chocolate digestives. However honourable mentions must go to:

1, Fig Rolls
2, Chocolate Hob Nobs (Milk Chocolate)
3, Custard Creams
4, Garibaldi's

Ginger biscuits I cannot consume. As a ginger kid myself to do so would be tantamount to cannabalism 😂😂😂😂.

The Hot Wheels DLC in FH5 isn't that bad. I think a lot of it's bad press (and I was guilty of it as well) was people upset that the Devs were just rehashing the DLC from FH3. Whilst there are obvious overlaps it does stand on its own. It's not bad, if you can afford it then I'd say play it. The cars you get alone are great, especially the Brabham.

Count me in for the milk chocolate camp when it comes to digestives and Hob-Nobs.

Whenever it comes out, I hope they don't screw with the formula for Forza Horizon 6 too much. Unless they make it better of course. Forza Motorsport 2023 is still missing a lot of core elements from previous games but some of the stuff they changed is better than those games. Hopefully FH6 won't be so much of a mixed bag but I guess it may be hard to judge over the howls from fans about it not being set in their preferred location (should that prove to be the case).

I've probably said it before, but I really don't mind where it's set so long as they take the proper lessons from the rally expansion's road designs. Coupled with not designing the whole thing around the eliminator, and sprinkling some fun areas skin to past game maps, and we've got a deal. And c'mon PGG, some elevation diversity please! FH5 features the highest-altitude point in any horizon game, sure, but it doesn't count for much when the rest of the base map is rather flat in comparison.

Mmmm... Milk Chocolate and Chocolate Milk... Currently drinking a Great Value version of Nesquik Powdered Milk. I also hope Forza Horizon 6 will be better.

I dunno why but in last night's dream I dreamt of a 97.6 Miles Map and that I was playing a totally weird dream edition of Forza Horizon.

I wonder if I'd get well along with Doc. Louis. I LOVE Chocolate.

Oh man, IMO you should have played the Hot Wheels first before Rally.

It was quite a slog, the cars are great though.

Somehow I forgot my number 1 - jammie dodgers.

I got one of the Premium editions so the DLCs are already bought and paid for. Should be ok based on what you say, I like the cars and never played FH3 so will be a new experience for me.

I've always felt that chocolate hobnobs were just a posh "executive class" digestive really, hence the "executive" pricing that goes with them.

Hot Wheels needs a different approach and mindset to be able to enjoy it, I think. Also, sometimes the seasonal challenges pick rather unhelpful car selections such that you can barely get them round the tracks.

Which reminds me, I am partial to wagon wheels when I need a chunkier, more satisfying, biscuit. Just the regular jam ones though, they tried a lot of other flavours and they're just not the same.

I don’t think the Hot Wheels expansion is quite as bad as others feel, but it did feel underwhelming to me. I think the developers went for “HUGE” over fun, and it suffered because of it. It doesn’t have the charm of the FH3 HW expansion which was so much smaller, but so much more fun.

That doesn’t mean it’s awful or unplayable. In fact, the three biomes are some of the most beautiful locations in any Horizon game. The photography is exceptional. The cars are terrific, and the Spectraflame paint is amazing. It’s just… if it had been a little bit less, it would have been so much more.

Can't believe Cars and Coffee won the popular vote for our next up coming season. I personally found it one of the more underwhelming months when it first came out. One cafe built on a roundabout does not an exciting month maketh. But that just my opinion.

It's only saving grace are 3 of the cars that will be available:

1, Mazda MX-5 RF
2, VW The Thing
3, VW SP-2

Any MX-5 is always a joy to drive (well in game at least, at 6ft 5 I can't fit in a real one comfortably enough to drive). I have to look at the wife's one every day enviously 😂😂😂.

And as for the 2 VW cars anyone who knows me on here knows I love the quirky and little cars more than any other car in game.

I think it’s fine for what it is. They made fast tracks to throw your fastest cars down like the toys. You don’t even really have to brake much at all.

It has some great car rewards and the game always needed more snow.

Coffee and me smelling it: Mmmm... Smells so GOOD.
After I drink caffeine Soda (I don't drink Coffee despite me loving the scent): Oh gosh, my heart is pounding so bad and I got heartburn. Especially with Pepsi and Coca-Cola. Barqs' I can tolerate. And I LOVE it! :D

Something I wish there'd be Vote Kick for leechers in Horizon Arcade. This or a Forza Link message saying "No loitering!" or "Help us or quit this arcade session already!"
I suspect this'd go against the game's philosophy of participation over performance.

I suggest that if you find yourself in an Arcade session with leechers, just quit the session and wait for another one if you have time. Doing the work of two people can be a bit of a drag.

To be fair though its headliner was an Aventador, which is currently available in the Backstage Pass Shop. I wager most folks, especially the PS5 people, don't really know what's in there or at least don't have a whole lot of Passes to play with, so going for it in the Playlist is more appealing to them.

To be doubly fair, as well, it's also got Donut Media cosmetics and without that particular license, it's the only way those cosmetics are guaranteed to be back in the Playlist now that Donut's not working with T10 and PG. Kinda makes you wish they got a Donut Media Part 3, don't it.

Man, the intro song is beautiful. I always wait a few minutes in the intro menu before joining in.

I picked CnC, my bad lol

For FH6, I believe that there should be a separate map for Eliminator, much like Eventlab Island is its own separate map.

It's possible the map would be diverse enough to be designed for Horizon Hide and Seek instead.
