I play with braking only on but the first time around I still came off the track. A couple of checkpoints either side of the bend would indeed probably make those doglegs easier to spot from within braking distance. I think the shallow gradient of the road may have made it harder to spot sharp corners using the racing line in a couple of places.

It's probably next to impossible to anticipate potential hazards like these without the benefit of rigorous playtesting though.

There wasn't anywhere where you'd fly off a cliff but a couple of the ninety degree turns took me by surprise if I didn't keep my eyes glued to the map. I'm nort complaining about the course but realise that the editor doesn't make it easy as it requires you to complete everything in one go.
Ah, ok fair enough. The first 90 left I think could have done with taller walls, definitely. The first 90 right at the crossroads at the bottom of the hill is an example where I figured "straight on" would work as a run-off area, and hoped that the checkpoint round the corner was visible enough on approach. I appreciate the feedback, and I will try and find time to do an updated version.

Thanks for being patient with our responses. By all means wait until they update the editor if you prefer, so you don't have to start again from scratch.

About five years ago, I created a livery for the Ford Transit SuperSportVan in FM7, based on the brilliant podcast “Welcome to Night Vale.”

I recently imported it to FH5.

Just a couple days ago I discovered that Night Vale’s rival town Desert Bluffs has it’s own logo.

There was no way I wasn’t going to make a livery based on that. So here it is. I hope you enjoy. And start listening to Welcome to Night Vale if you haven’t already.

I’ve updated the share code on the Desert Bluffs van. I realized I forgot the radio antenna on the tallest building. I’ve since corrected that, but now I’ve got two versions of the Desert Bluffs van in the storefront. I can’t figure out how to delete the old version since I saved the new version over the old one and shared it to the storefront. It’s an orphan design. It no longer shows up in my designs so I can’t delete it. I guess I learned a lesson today. If updating a design, make sure to unshare it first.

Edit: I figured out how to delete orphan designs. Download it from the storefront. Then you can unshare it and delete it.

While most of you are busy doing the playlist I`m living in my own world. Unfairlanes garage. My last project was
to see if I was able to make something really raceable out of a big clumsy 1964 Impala.

After several no too sucsessful attempts in lower classes (it is just too big..) I ended up with a surpricingly good
A-class racer. Just by hotting up the stock engine a bit, tweaking the suspension & adding the widest tires I could fit in.
No engine-swap done, no AWD-swap, no wings added. Just a T56 gearbox and a lot of (1st person view) roadtesting & adjusting.
Nothing that anyone equipped with a Summit- or Jegs-catalog couldn`t do at home.

As usual I outraced some players driving S2-tuned hypercars while doing this, beeing a tuner has it`s moments;)

Here`s the code for it: 680 513 379

Edit; oh I cheated, I gave it 7 gears:rolleyes:

Just tell me that the rims are stock too and I'm getting it tomorrow! 🔥

I finally finished fixing my old Playa Azul rallycross track. And by fixing, I mean deleting the old version, and pretty much starting from scratch .

After spending probably too much time ironing out checkpoints and racing lines, as well as messing with the various objects, I have 2 flavors of this event:

  • "Retro RallyCross Beach Party" (106 092 999) is a 2-lap race set during in the daytime with Retro Rally cars, and I'd say is a pretty easy event overall.
  • "Midnight Monster Marauders" (430 972 591) is a 3-lap race set at night, with heavy rain, in the Rally Monster class. I spent a good bit of time making sure that there were enough light sources present (to the point where I used up the object allowance), though there still a couple small dark spots on the track. I personally prefer this one, as there's a lot of bright, pretty colors, so you really get to see the games graphics on full display.
If I do have any gripes with these events, is that the AI, while not crashing themselves out or missing checkpoints, is a bit too slow for my liking. They end up braking in a couple spots where they don't really need to, so it doesn't take much to get a gap on the driveatars once you get up front.

Inspired by the start of the Horizon World Cup event on Thursday, I've looked at modes I've created in the past and possible car class/type combos that provide cars from a variety of countries and decided that I'm going to create my own EventLabs World Cup! For the 28 days of the series I'm going to create a new race every day.

So far I've created 3, with the first 2 originally only posted onto the Forza Discord. With that Discord currently having a bit of a situation at the moment, I'm also going to post them here. If people like the events I'll keep posting them here!

I'm definitely going to try these today!

EDIT: just tried ELWC1 and 2, great fun, that's how Horizon World Cup should have been done by PGG I stead of boring standard races with a narrow car selection.

Is ELWC3 available now? I don't seem to be able to find it, even through your Creative Hub.

I made challenge cards for the 3 hardest to get cars in the game so you can try them out driving or take pictures for Horizon promo. All 3 challenge cards are for driving to a destination on a sunny afternoon with a really easy time limit. All cars have their stock tuning and livery. And for each challenge I picked a song which I like and thought was fitting for the event. ☺️

You can get to the challenges cards via the following share codes or alternatively just search on my Xbox gamer tag ‘breyzipp” in the Creative Hub and then go to my community challenges.

  • 1932 Ford De Luxe Five-Window Coupe Forza Edition - 119 711 623
  • 2017 Ford GT ‘OPI Edition’ - 955 288 175
  • 2005 Honda NSX-R GT - 158 632 417

The two Fords are exclusive DLC cars.
The NSX-R GT was a Season 0 Welcome Week reward car which was mostly accessible for ultimate edition owners. The car hasn’t been available since and is extremely rare on the auction house.

The MG MG3 is not available to win until the 4th season of this series, however it turned up as a Drivatar in a Dirt race I did today, so I have shared a photo so that people can see it in game...

Hello!

I've made a circuit using the Copper canyon roads, I love the flow and view of those roads and I think it's a shame it's only used in the Goliath.
There aren't many intersections in these roads so the circuit starts at the Lookout Circuit, and ends up being fairly long (16km/10miles, around 5:30 in A class). I think it's a fun course though, kinda reminiscent of the Nurburgring IMHO (hence the name). Plenty of fast corners, a few quite long straights, and a couple tight twisty sections.

I've placed barriers where I think necessary, but not around the whole circuit (take ages over a course this long) but I'll be adding more bit by bit when I can. There are a couple big breaking zones into semi-blind corners, I've tried optimizing visibility and adding more signs there, but it might not be enough, so be warned.
The AI is passable, but I'm still trying to optimize their line, so I'd bump up the difficulty one level from your usual for now.

  • Anything goes, 3 laps: 124 776 926
  • Classic Racers (any class), 2 laps: 131 414 229
Hope you enjoy! Any feedback is appreciated, I'd be happy to create any car/class/lap number combination if requested.

Comes up in searching the share code and ELWC3 for me, but it's also the only one (other than 5, which I just put up) with the only play being me, so 🤷‍♂️. Hopefully it's up now for everyone!

So we`ve just had the AMG-tuned Mercedes Hammer, a 80`s German musclecar as COTW. Nice ride, a real roadmachine.

How woud an American Detroit-made original musclecar compare if we let a tuningcompany give it a makeover?
I took an old 60`s musclecar, a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro and made two setups for it.

First setup is wery true to the original; hotted up the stock engine about 20%, upgraded to a bit wider tires, (street-tires)
& unlike playgrounds setups I`ve given it shockbumps and a t56-gearbox from the Corvette. Nothing else. Just a mild makeover
but what a ride!

The -69 Camaro is about the same weight as the AMG Hammer, just twenty years older..

B-class setup: 129 537 236

A still street-legal but moore hotted up version was made by adding a full Corvette driveline. The LS3-engine was hotted up
and connected to a t56 gearbox, tires upgraded to sports tires and the original seats where replaced by a single racechair.
This to meet the A-class regulations. A wilder version this one but still wery driveable from inside. 3rd person view drivers
won`t have much fun here, this one takes skills to drive. The +800hps makes it a godd drifter too

A-class setup: 179 152 326 Nothing changed outside, even stock wheels. Did anyone say sleeper?

Made up some Z28 paints to get the right Camaro-feeling:

Light blue: 722 808 917 Pale yellow: 516 546 408
