Outside of like, 4 bands in the Horizon XS playlist, I have no clue who the others are. Is this what getting old feels like?

This is my favorite thing about any FH soundtrack, i almost never know any off the bands and become a fan of some of them just by discovering it in the game.

Not listening to any of it until i start playing the game.

Still wondering why a model like Senna cannot make the cut... at least the initial roster.

It has to be something with licensing, I think it has to do with the Senna name. They are not going to purposefully pull a cover car without a reason

Yeah it could be a licensing issue but it isnt known publicly yet but they will likely tell us the reasoning soon. I dont think they would remove it just to bring it back. Its a cover car and these cars usually stay in future titles unless there is a licensing issue.
 
Bugatti's disappearance is probably a case of "too late to sign a deal with VW, too early to sign it with Rimac". I will be absolutely unsurprised if they will be reintroduced by month 6, possibly via a Monthly Playlist starring the Tourbillon.

As for the Senna... What if they didn't know what to do with the glass cutouts in the side doors (make them paintable? As part of the sides, or the side windows?) and decided to hold the car back until they can figure it out?

Not gonna lie this makes actually some sense. But I feel the name of the car is the more likely scenario.

Forza always used Spotify Playlists to promote their soundtracks.

I do miss the Groove Music custom radio station that Forza Horizon 3 used to have. Obviously not there anymore as Groove Music is no longer supported.

I wonder why they just dont add use Windows Media Player instead which serves as a replacement of Groove Music but we have no such replacement ingame.

Always wished we could have proper custom support again. I like having custom music but always annoyed me having to pause it in between races and things. Miss the old days like GT5/GT6 with the custom menu music, that's never been topped.

They should integrate Windows Media Player into Forza Horizon 6.

While I understand the premise (as a fan of The Stig's many cousins), I still believe that Don got tired of complaining about Mrs Thompson during those many drizzly, foggy days and nights in FH4 and moved to Mexico with the Horizon Festival where he met Dolores and his life then became a bit more... ummm... "spicy".

Not sure but Windows Media Player is cosidered a successor to Groove Music apparently. At least thats what I have read.

So you are telling me its the successor of Groove Music but misses many of the things the previous thing had when its supposed to be better? Kinda reminds me of Xbox App vs Xbox Console Companion where the former is the successor but lacks many of the things the latter had. And I dont think anything is going to change with the current people in charge of the businesses they serve us at least in the mainstream side of things. I tried Groove Music in FH3 but was a 10-11 year old kid back then and didnt know how it worked and thought I would just need to select the station to get my music but no. I did know how to use Xbox Console Companion though and prefer it over Xbox App though. I really miss the days of quality and sense and reasonable pricing those were great times. Not that every mainstream product is bad but most of it is. And it doesnt have to be this way but greed is destroying the potential.

That is generally how most business operate and the problem arent the companies themselves the problem is the people in charge of them. But it doesnt have to be this way. And I dont think the left is better vs the right is going to make it any better. Its them vs us. And them is the minority while us (consumers) is the majority unless we stay divided. But I expect this to only get better if we all unite for better products and better people behind these companies. It doesnt have to be this way but it will only get worse if we stay divided. I still have some hopes for a better future but I am starting to lose it as from time and time again money and brainwashing keeps winning.

Forza Horizon 6 on the other hand seems to be a outlier. And I am very excited for that. If only this could expand to other Microsoft products and many other businesses.

For me, I might listen more to Wave. I loved that station in FH5, and no doubt it will be better in 6.
