Tacoma TRD FE (just looks a bit like the deberti Tacoma)

1994 Nissan Fairlady Z Version S Twin Turbo from Developer Direct now also in the official game.

Yeah, they don't bother me, really. Not as much as I'm annoyed by the constant griping about it in every comments section and subreddit there is, at least.
I mean we are going to have a TRX (and probably the 6x6 version as well) in this game so narrow roads will not work for every car.
And we know that the game will have the G63 AMG 6x6 and I doubt it will be the only one and well for 6x6s you need wider roads.

People who complain about it don’t think about how little fun it would be to have accurately narrow roads and traffic in Horizon. I personally would not care to sit in Tokyo rush hour traffic for two hours trying to get out of the city, only to sit in more traffic because of narrow roads outside the city.

The other problem is narrow roads dont work for big and wide cars like the TRX or G 63 AMG 6x6.

Maybe they figure they'll be able to just bash them out of the way.

Near the end of the video Dave Egan hints that both kits/cars are coming to an unnamed videogame sometimes this year. Make of that what you want and at this point it's pure speculation, but the fact they mention the Japan collab about 3600 times during said video and that LBWK already has kits available to a bunch of cars in the franchise, and Ireland isnt far off the UK where PG are based... The cars don't really fit the Gran Turismo ethos, NFS Unbound is all but dead, so my guess is either FH6 or Motorfest.

Some of my friend said the host sounds like Ikumi Hasegawa and my other friend said that she sounds like Akari Kitō
the voice pf the radio host looks very faminlar, those two VAs are very familiar to me, but unlike Ruruko, those are already very famous voices in Japan as well, so their hiring price would be far more higher

i dont know if PG would expend that much just for a VA say some lines though, i dont think your friends are wrong, but if was a famous VA not only would be very costly but also it would be a big thing to promote the game with

by the way, i was cheking the audio agian and she start saying her name, hpst name seems to be Itou Touko (first name Touko, last name Itou) and seems to be a fantasy created name, since the only person with similar name only was only active in 2003/2004, likely already retired

I highly doubt its Motorfest plus they already have the LB NSX. Its definitely Forza Horizon 6.

Minivans should be considered to the game as well
as a i mentioned before, i am suprised there hasnt much modern kei/JDM cars on the game, they focused only in the late 90s ones only sadly, mostly beacuse those are the ones that most focal people were asking...
Of my wishlist are missing:
-Daihatsu/Suzuki
-Toyota/Daihatsu Coopen GR
-Honda Fit
-Honda N-One
-Honda S660
-Nissan Sakura
-Hyundai Casper/Inster (Hyundai sells cars in Japan now)
-Toyota Agua
-Toyota Sienta
-Toyota Pixis Van
-Toyota Century Old
-Toyota Century New
-Any Toyota Crown

Cars update 392
some notable cars that got my attention
-2010 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor
-GR 2025 GR GT Prototype (i wont come as toyota, interestingly)
1995 Nissan Gloria Gran Turismo
2005 Toyota Crown Super Deluxe Taxi
2017 Toyota JPN Taxi
-
only the new generation BRZ/86
2021 Volkswagen Golf R
2022 Volkswagen Golf R (???)
2023 Volkswagen Golf R (ok it was a joke lol)
2022 Wuling Hongguang Mini EV Macaron (the closest to a modern kei car in this game so far)

So, apparently no one seems to be talking about this, so let me kick it off:

  • Graphics seem very, very ordinary. I understand it's not the same vibrant map of Mexico, but environment and car details do not look that impressive.
  • Sounds appear to have received a downgrade. I'm not really feeling or hearing the soul or underlying character of the cars they have showcased in videos so far.
  • Physics seem largely unchanged. Dogem car physics with little suspension travel and oscillation. Look at the cars catching air and landing like a brick. Or being thrown around in drifts and showing virtually no bodyroll.

So, essentially it's the exact same game with a different map, right?

My theory is PG's A team is making Fable and Forza has been relegated to the B team, a lot of senior talent left to make a new studio plus MS is telling them not to change too much because FH5 sold a lot and they don't want any risks.

No idea what gameplay you have been watching but the graphics are much better than 5 the environment is much more detailed and alive compared to the last title.

The car sound have improved not much but they have improved from FH5 and the exhaust notes have a better sound to them.

As for physics it's a arcade game not a SIM if you want super realistic physics play beam NG because horizons not the game for you.

So to answer your question no not the same game same great recipe that Forza always use but far from the same game.

It would be fine if it was the usual 2 year dev cycle, for 5 years it's embarrassing

Watching the preview vids I was hoping for some aucrtion house info.I assume most of the features are locked until general release day.I would be surprised if they didnt have the AH as its been in previous games, its a way to get rare cars if you miss a playlist/on holiday, etc.Maybe tweak it a little, however they ditched it in FM23 so who knows.

A lot of the game’s features were locked off in the preview build so we know nothing new about them.

Personally I hope Auction House doesn’t return and that if there’s time-limited cars there’s another way to earn them.

One good idea I’ve seen suggested is that after their event expires they get added to the pool of Used/Aftermarket cars that can randomly show up in the world. It would give you that feeling of “oh wait, that’s a rare car!” when you drive by a For Sale sign and spot one.

Related: I hope we can remove Barn Finds from our garage in this game. I didn’t like that in previous titles as it meant I was stuck with some cars I’d never use.
