The roads are wider than real life for gameplay purposes, it's always been a thing in FH and always will beI think I'm starting to get why those "wide roads" complaints throw me off: they sure don't look that wide when driving in first person/cockpit view.
Yeah, they don't bother me, really. Not as much as I'm annoyed by the constant griping about it in every comments section and subreddit there is, at least. The roads are wider than real life for gameplay purposes, it's always been a thing in FH and always will be
I mean we are going to have a TRX (and probably the 6x6 version as well) in this game so narrow roads will not work for every car.Yeah, they don't bother me, really. Not as much as I'm annoyed by the constant griping about it in every comments section and subreddit there is, at least.
People who complain about it don’t think about how little fun it would be to have accurately narrow roads and traffic in Horizon. I personally would not care to sit in Tokyo rush hour traffic for two hours trying to get out of the city, only to sit in more traffic because of narrow roads outside the city.Yeah, they don't bother me, really. The other problem is narrow roads dont work for big and wide cars like the TRX or G 63 AMG 6x6.People who complain about it don’t think about how little fun it would be to have accurately narrow roads and traffic in Horizon. Maybe they figure they'll be able to just bash them out of the way.People who complain about it don’t think about how little fun it would be to have accurately narrow roads and traffic in Horizon. the voice pf the radio host looks very faminlar, those two VAs are very familiar to me, but unlike Ruruko, those are already very famous voices in Japan as well, so their hiring price would be far more higherSome of my friend said the host sounds like Ikumi Hasegawa and my other friend said that she sounds like Akari Kitō
Near the end of the video Dave Egan hints that both kits/cars are coming to an unnamed videogame sometimes this year. Make of that what you want and at this point it's pure speculation, but the fact they mention the Japan collab about 3600 times during said video and that LBWK already has kits available to a bunch of cars in the franchise, and Ireland isnt far off the UK where PG are based... The cars don't really fit the Gran Turismo ethos, NFS Unbound is all but dead, so my guess is either FH6 or Motorfest.
as a i mentioned before, i am suprised there hasnt much modern kei/JDM cars on the game, they focused only in the late 90s ones only sadly, mostly beacuse those are the ones that most focal people were asking...Minivans should be considered to the game as well
some notable cars that got my attentionCars update 392
I don’t think this will be in the Day 1 car list.
I just wanted to ask a question, does anyone have photos of the Mustang 2+2 FE and the BMW M2 FE?
if you wanted full sim physics on a simcade racing game, you are looking to the wrong gamePhysics seem largely unchanged. Dogem car physics with little suspension travel and oscillation. Look at the cars catching air and landing like a brick. Or being thrown around in drifts and showing virtually no bodyroll.
My theory is PG's A team is making Fable and Forza has been relegated to the B team, a lot of senior talent left to make a new studio plus MS is telling them not to change too much because FH5 sold a lot and they don't want any risks. So, apparently no one seems to be talking about this, so let me kick it off:
- Graphics seem very, very ordinary. I understand it's not the same vibrant map of Mexico, but environment and car details do not look that impressive.
- Sounds appear to have received a downgrade. I'm not really feeling or hearing the soul or underlying character of the cars they have showcased in videos so far.

So, essentially it's the exact same game with a different map, right?
No idea what gameplay you have been watching but the graphics are much better than 5 the environment is much more detailed and alive compared to the last title. So, apparently no one seems to be talking about this, so let me kick it off:

It would be fine if it was the usual 2 year dev cycle, for 5 years it's embarrassingNo idea what gameplay you have been watching but the graphics are much better than 5 the environment is much more detailed and alive compared to the last title.
The car sound have improved not much but they have improved from FH5 and the exhaust notes have a better sound to them.
As for physics it's a arcade game not a SIM if you want super realistic physics play beam NG because horizons not the game for you.
So to answer your question no not the same game same great recipe that Forza always use but far from the same game.
Not really embarrassing but I understand where you're coming from but in my opinion I'm still very much looking forward to the game and I think it's a big step up from the last.It would be fine if it was the usual 2 year dev cycle, for 5 years it's embarrassing
after the devs need to work on 2 games? That's fine tho. You just being hating on this game before the game releases. It would be fine if it was the usual 2 year dev cycle, for 5 years it's embarrassing
They have 2 separate teams plus Turn10 helping outafter the devs need to work on 2 games? That's fine tho. You just being hating on this game before the game releases.
Clearly missed the part where they said the lighting in the preview build is a bit messed up and will be fixed for the release of the game.View attachment 1529270
Nice lighting
Not the first game they’ve railed against and argued with others about on this forum. Fortunately the Ignore feature exists. You just being hating on this game before the game releases.
A lot of the game’s features were locked off in the preview build so we know nothing new about them.Watching the preview vids I was hoping for some aucrtion house info.I assume most of the features are locked until general release day.I would be surprised if they didnt have the AH as its been in previous games, its a way to get rare cars if you miss a playlist/on holiday, etc.Maybe tweak it a little, however they ditched it in FM23 so who knows.
How is the interior on that thing?View attachment 1529276
I've only got the m2 FE no one managed to get pictures of the fast back 2+2
