Interesting that they have not mentioned Festival Playlist by name yet. Evolving world seems to be back though, and stronger than before.
I think they'll reveal more details on the live aspects much closer to release - I'd assume the Playlist is back but perhaps with a different name? And hopefully no FOMO, fingers crossed.

I really hope with Evolving World, we can see permanent changes to the map - instead of being FOMO. Even if they are small, that would be massive step forward from FH5's Evolving World changes that were mostly fluff, at best, if I'm honest.

Looks like we still have the customization deep dive and Horizon Rush event overview to go, I wonder what we'll get first.

Do we know if the "side gig" missions will take place within the persistent open world yet? I want this to be the case and I want them to be a chill, almost ambient way of playing the game - vibe out and deliver. Love the inclusion of the time attack tracks...been hoping for something like that since the very first FH title.

Now, AR12 might be a bit of a Slop-Tuber, but what's interesting here is that he at 12:00 in the video said that we're getting the customisation deep dive this thursday, March 19.

I've been looking all around for some source confirming this, but I haven't found anything. Is it possible he got a heads up from Playground?🤔

Having 4 race tracks is good because I spent a lot of time just lapping the off-road and festival circuits in Horizon 5.

AR12 with some actually useful info for once? If he's not outright lying I feel like this may be a slip up since I can't find any sources for that either. It seems he wasn't supposed to talk about that this early!

Looks like we might get Lia Block's i20

There's been many times he has 'announced' cars that never came to the series. I highly doubt everything he says.

You have a point. I'm sceptical as well and take everything he says with a grain of salt. He's been wrong many times and has spread rumours that have turned out not being true.

BUT, I also know several instances when T10 and PGG have reached out to him and given him info early or a heads up for a new info-drop.

But I guess we'll see tomorrow 😊

Alongside underglow I would love to have different headlight color options, but again I don't know how possible that is. It's easy to say "oh that's easy to add to every car" but I just don't know if licensing issues would allow it or if it's technically possible to do. Even just getting window stickers is a big win however, been wanting those for a long time.

Instead of the same photo four times, it would have been nice if they showed the same scene but in each of the four different seasons. You know, the thing they’re actually talking about.
This is actually mandatory for CMs when they want to make a post on Instagram, you should have some spare photos to go with when you want to keep your community engaged. I don't know why they keep uploading four different posts with four different ad copy, but with the same pictures.

Once again I’d like to point out that the game is months away from release.

Microsoft don’t need to say anything at all until around 4 weeks before launch when pre-orders, paid social, content creators and awareness typically ramp up.

You can have a very effective social media and comms campaign with just 4-8 weeks of activity, I used to do it every year on F1. Any further out from that and you run into limitations simply because the game isn’t ready to be captured and shown at good enough quality (because the game isn’t finished yet).

I consider this IGN partnership a bonus moreso than anything else, because we can all expect the game to be good enough to be worth our time. The expectation bar is “the last game but slightly better” and they should easily clear that.

Playground hasn’t had a bad game in their entire history and we don’t need everything detailed so far out from release. Besides, come Day 1 we will know everything about the game, content and features anyway and it’s not like knowing all that earlier makes a difference to core fans like us.

Yes, you're right ofc. Playground don't have to show us anything this far out. But I think the reason some people are confused and/or dissatisfied with the marketing campaign of FH6 is that they're compairing it to how it's been with FH1-FH5.

I know marketing months ahead of time hasn't been the norm in the industry or for the games you've worked with, but the Forza Horizon fans are used to a slightly different approach. The new Horizon game has generally been shown during E3-season and we've already during the following summer gotten plenty of info, even though the release window usually was during september-november.

So, although it isn't unusual at all for a studio to be rather tight lipped about their game up until about 4 weeks out, I think we've perhaps become a bit spoiled by how it used to be. This time the info is perhaps a bit more sparse this far out, compared to FH5 for example, and some might just not be used to that.

But, just like you're saying, there's no reason to expect anything less than a brilliant game from PGG. And for core fans like us all this doen't matter much. We'll be there day 1 anyway 😊

Do you have a screenshot of the TE37 rim you reported in the video? I tried scrubbing through it and haven’t found it. I recognize some new Advan and ADV.1 rims though. Thanks.
