I have to say, the Garage customization looked really great. I loved what they showed off in the video today - the freedom of car and character placement, the sharing features, the props, the freedom to walk around - all looked awesome. PG looks like they've outdone themselves on this feature.
From this pic, it does only look like 3 cars are able to be placed at one time - which is a bit of a shame. But still, a huge improvement over FH5 and I can't wait to see what people come up with.
What was disappointing IMO was the Car Customization improvements.
The new Forza aero does look a lot better than FH5's, I'll give them that - and it being paintable is a nice plus too. Window Stickers are also an excellent addition, along with being able to select different rims front to back.
But not having multiple Spoiler or Splitter options, no option to remove the tow hook or canards, no side or rear Aero was a let down IMO. It feels like the absolute bare minimum change they could have done, whilst advertising it as a new feature.
Spending a large portion of the video on Forza Edition cars (which don't get wrong, look cool) which we won't be able to visually customize (outside of paint) seemed a bit of an oversight IMO. Like we want to be able to create those cars ourselves!
I was hoping FH6 might catch up a little bit to The Crew Motorfest in terms of customization, another game with a large car roster, but does a much better job of having a variety of aero and features per car. But it's looking like TCM still has Forza very well beaten on this area.
And for a game set in Japan - I though PG might take customization more seriously like its Ubisoft counterpart - but it really doesn't seem that way.
Judging by the comments on social media as well, the reaction isn't great and I think a lot of people share this sentiment. Hoping that PG can improve visual customization overtime in FH6, but I'm doubtful.
