Do we know if the preview build contains all of the day one launch cars?
I don't think anyone can say they could very well change some cars for the official game but saying that if it's on the official car list on the forza.net then they are definitely there for launch but things like the starlet and other that aren't could very well be car pass cars that get added at a later date.

This is possible, especially when you factor in:

550-560 regular cars
17 known Forza editions
5 Welcome Pack cars
8 day one DLC cars (Time Attack Car Pack)

then it's a minimum of at least 580-590 cars.
This is true I forgot about the timeattack DLC and Italian DLC and there is only 16 know Forza Editions and I believe 13 of them are included in that original 550 and the other 3 are part of the VIP membership.

But yes by the time the game releases it will definitely be over 580 with the dlcs packs and car pass car and 3 VIP FE cars and welcome pack cars.

I read through the FH6 Developer FAQ and what has me really interested beside the event lab stuff is the new paint options:
Q: Are there new options for painting cars in Forza Horizon 6?

For painting your car, we’ve streamlined the navigation for selecting colors and color types – for example, when you choose a color, you can easily switch between gloss, semi-gloss, matte, and metallic finishes. You can also mark colors and materials as favorites for quick access, such as the new metal flake and candy paint options. In addition, you can paint elements of the Forza Aero Bumpers and Forza Aero Rear Wings independently. This includes the material and supports on the wing, and the tow hook on the bumpers.

I like the fact they are adding the metal flake and candy options and that they making it easier to switch the finishes. The amount of paints available in GT7 is one of my favorite things about it

The Rimac Nevera is coming to the game, so we don't need to worry about Bugatti.

Beat me to it, was just about to post it.

I am wondering if the 917 FE is an electric engine swap, it just gives off that vibe for some reason.

Nice to finally see a clear picture of the LFA FE looks good think I'll paint mine orange and make it a nurburgring edition Tribute.

Yeah I'm getting that vibe aswell dose just look electric from the picture.

It does give off an electric-swapped restomod vibe, doesn’t it? I’m surprised they chose the all-conquering 917 for the FE treatment. I mean, how much more “all-conquering” can it be? “Oh, yeah, about that. This is the Salt the Earth Edition.”

They could've tried it with a Can-Am 917/30 but I think Oppenheimer's ghost would wind up haunting someone over that.

Noticed this on a few cars but it seems Playground might have created original liveries for some of these, considering they use the in-universe sponsors.

And then you will regret it when they add the actual LFA Nürburgring Edition out of nowhere lol.

As much as I like the LFA Nurburgring edition, it may be a long shot. I'd imagine there has to be some sort of sourcing reason for it to not return.
