I'll miss the Lancia 037 at launch if I'm reading the leaked car list screenshots correctly. At least it'll force me to be more creative with my rally car choices (or at least use the Deltas and the remaining Stratos more often).

I was hoping for the 037 too -- in part because it has a suprising (if extremely humble) connection to Japanese auto racing. (EDIT: there's another FH6-ready entry in here, though: I will not be surprised if someone makes that '94 JGTC 962C livery for the Schuppan.)

On the other hand, I'm with HokiHoshi here in that I am a sucker for a good FC RX-7 and I like the one that shows up here. Can't wait to build something similar.

I do wonder if it will be one of the cars that shows up in one of the early playlists. It has to right? I mean the Ferrari 512 was a pretty egregious omission in FH5 and that showed up in like playlist 4, lol. Also we need more weird JGTC GT300/GT500 cars for sure

Car list looks absolutely incredible so far. There are definitely some notable omissions but this time around I personally don't see them as glaring as those from past games, and I don't feel like they're too bad considering we know they tend to come back as dripfeed content.

One thing I'm surprised I haven't seen mentioned so far is the NIS_12_SkylineGTR_90 - isn't that the JTCC Calsonic R32?

I guess I was blind. Maybe the Skyline GT-R R33 Sedan caught my eye and I do remember Warren from Forza Horizon 3 mentioning it when a player discovered the Skyline GT-R R32 barn find

Honestly I dont think there is many radio stations that are missing so maybe they should bring those few missing ones back.

Tbh the only one I'd wanna bring back would probably be Future Classic. Vagrant was cool but I feel we've got XS for the general rock station now. I'd more wanna see some new labels make their way into the game.

I totally agree with this. While some omissions are pretty glaring (See Senna and Defender), I think a lot of the new-to-Horizon cars and returnees make up for it. It's hard to explain, but there definitely seems like a better balance and variety this time around.

I think part of it too is that, IIRC, FH5 had exactly zero returnees that weren't in Horizon 4 at launch (except for the DeLorean, which was Festival Playlist anyway).

Can anyone confirm if the nissan r33 was remodeled? The nissan r32 and r34 models were confirmed to be remodeled but I havent heard anything about the r33.

If anyone is interested there's a few characters mentioned that should be pretty key to the game.

All of them were named "Ambassador" whilst there were a large amount of "Driver" characters. Considering we know that Jordan & Mei are the two friends you join with, the others could be story related or maybe just larger characters?
Larry is most likely Larry Chen, guessing he might host that Auto-Zine Magazine story?

Example, the Autech Skyline folder is "NIS_SkylineAutech_98". The folder is encrypted/zipped, but you can see the name of it.
The folder that likely holds the music is "RadioInfo_EN", there's no tell as to what's in there. We're pretty lucky that we can see what the cars are I guess?

I am more surprised with the fact that they added 2 unusual bodystyles to otherwise popular and iconic cars but they look good as 4 doors.

The Skyline GT-R R33 Sedan is a new model since its new to the franchise but the Coupé is the same 1997 one we previously had.

From the filenames posted, the 1997 R33 GT-R V-Spec isn't remodeled.

For now, no. Once I get access to Steam Preload, I'll do as much digging as I can.

When the game gets closer to delisting, that's when I begin working on its TCRF Article.

I am very excited to see what cars you will find.

I do remember you doing a TCRF page for Forza Horizon 5 a few months after launch so I wonder why you wouldnt do that with 6 as well.

Launch day just isn't the right time to make a TCRF page and dump all the unused stuff. Maybe after a few months, sure.

The one in the Zama Collection is the 1990 model, at that point I think it's fair to assume it's indeed that car. I'd venture a guess it was most likely intended for FM23 at first. Makes me wonder what else they scanned while they were there... A Cefiro would be nice, maybe a Cube or a March/Micra, definitely a P10/P11 Primera.

Also, unpopular opinion on Bugatti not making it:
