being a steam user right now knowing you can't fly to New Zealand

Lord knows what I'll do with the estate, but wow, it's utterly massive.

Maybe a tight circuit that suits Kei cars and lower class models.
I've been really interested in how this works too. I'm guessing you have to get a fair way into progression to access it since nobody has really been saying anything about it, though that makes sense as I wouldn't want to just be handed a sizeable chunk of the map right off the jump.

I think I'll take a last lap or two in my Vocho tomorrow evening and say Hasta Luego to Mexico, a few minutes before saying Konichiwa to Japan.
Me too 👍 I´m gonna enjoy some last bits of todays playlist around Mexico and get ready for a trip to Japan tomorrow

Here's the reward cars of the first 2 playlists (in no order) based on the thumbnail files, now that the full carlist was revealed:

  • 1972 Mazda Cosmo Series II
  • 2016 Toyota Arctic Trucks Land Cruiser AT37
  • 1999 Toyota Altezza RS200 Z Edition (NTF)
  • 1996 Toyota Starlet Glanza V (NTF)

Series 2:
  • 1993 Porsche 911 Turbo S Leichtbau (Spotlight car)

Are Giulia GTAm and F80 out? Still need to wait for ~12h here in Spain to get my hands on the game.
Good news is there's this day-off in Madrid this Friday. Yay

I'm not a fan of waiting a few weeks to drive the altezza, i was really looking forward to that car (as well as the starlet)

Pretty sure the Tsuru won't make the jump and I didn't see the 360 CS either which I hope does return(along with the Escort mark 1 rally car) off to Mexico for one last hurrah.

@sirjim73

I saw that you expressed concern earlier in this thread that me and other new residents of New Zealand might cause the servers to overload and crash. You have a point, ofc. There is a risk that'll happen.

However, one could argue that there's still a somewhat staggered release, since I'm guessing that most people won't start playing the game until the regular release the 19th of May.

There's also the fact that the time zones surely will cause a lot of the players further west to not play the game right at the New Zealand release time. I mean, sure. If you live west of the Atlantic, you could technically set your alarm at sunrise to play early, but how many will actually do that?

Another factor that'll stagger the influx of players is the fact that it's a regular thursday in many countries. People have school and jobs to attend to. While it is a bank holiday here in Sweden and some other European countries, that's not the case elsewhere.

And lastly, typically a new game peaks in player numbers the weekend after the official release, not the release day.

So, I think we'll be fine. But should the servers crash, feel free to throw rotten tomatoes at me 😂😉
