Nice I have the 3 VIP FEs, all 3 Aftermarket FEs all 4 Collection Journal FEs and the S-Cargo and F150 and GT-R FE so thats 13.
What is the 3rd aftermarket FE and where can I find it? Thought there was only the Mx-5 and BRZ.

Edit - never mind, looked it up and it’s the RX3 at the Daikoku spot.

Really disappointed in how much they nerfed the GT40 MK II (only engine swaps on the MKII is the nerfed Ford GT engine.) and the 2005 Ford GT. I still hate that you have to put in a horrible sounding V12 to make more than a 1000 hp when someone made 2700+ hp on the stock block in real life. A Ford GT should sound like a V8, putting a V12 in it is sacrilegious. They could have atleast made the engine swap a version of the V10 from the Cobra concept car.

Most of the Ford engines in the game make as much power with a twin turbo that the real life counterpart makes with a cheaper supercharger setup.

Would be nice to at least get them to S2 or P class.

I've played it and I'd agree with that. For me the original Forza Horizon on the 360 was brilliant and fresh. I skipped Forza Horizon 2 because I didn't have an Xbox One. Forza Horizon 3 I had on PC and again I thought that was brilliant and fresh. Probably one of my best racing game experiences ever.

Then I bought Forza Horizon 4 and for whatever reason it just never clicked with me. It felt too similar to Forza Horizon 3 and I couldn't get enthused about it. I skipped Horizon 5 because my PC was aging by the time it released. And Horizon 6 I've played on a Series X but again it did feel like more of the same again.

It's hard to fault it too much because it does so much well and the reviews and general opinion reflect this. But if you've played a few of these games already I would recommend your course of action and at least checking out some videos before paying full price for it.
I agree. What got to me with Forza Horizon 5 was the fact that it felt exactly the same as FH4, but in Mexico. I didn't play FH2 or FH3 before FH4, so going to FH5 and getting more of the same was weird.

I appreciate what PG has done, and they're definitely cashing in on the Japan craze that's going on right now, but it just feels like another repeat, the same game incentive structure and a world, at least to me, that looks pretty, but doesn't serve much of a purpose.

The one thing I can't really get passed is the roads. They are so, so wide. I know that's pretty much a Horizon trademark, but coming from someone who played Forza Motorsport 1 and 2, 3 and 4, and had to fight alongside the community to get Turn 10 Studios to make an accurate Nurburgring that didn't feel like a winding Atlanta highway, I just don't have much interest in going back to stuff like that.

That said, it does look like a fun game to kick back and play, but I'm just not the target audience for it anymore, which sucks because I would have loved it when I was younger.

Unlike the MX-5 which has been discussed in this thread at length I wasn't aware you could pick up a Subaru BRZ FE on the side of the road as well until @breyzipp mentioned it in the above post. Looks like Snow Forest Cross Country Circuit is the place to hang out for this one.

Nachi Run is extremely narrow, especially with cars coming in the other direction. I guess some folks will never be satisfied.

As you've alluded to, Forza Motorsport fans who lobby for an accurate width Nordschleife, simply aren't the target audience for Horizon. Besides, there plenty of narrow roads and routes to negotiate, in and out of Tokyo, certainly far more than have been in any previous Horizon title.

Would be slightly jarring to have every road at a realistic width, to then hurl a 1000bhp wheely-ing Peel P50 down it at 250mph.

Watch AC Evo release its own open world and then people complain about how annoyingly narrow all the roads are 😅.

For those who wonders about the CRX
It's a carryover from previous title since it still has old car ID
1. The missing sideskirts are finally back!
2. It has a new Mugen pro 2 kit with spoiler
So they updated the details but not the full model?

Still struggling with that long drift zone in Nangan. Up to 326K so far. i suspect I need more speed to get more points.

On the subject of the Aftermarket Cars someone posted this on Facebook. Can’t remember who.View attachment 1539158
I know about the locations (there is a few more, such as the right before the south entrance to legend island spawns hypercars).

I was just thinking of making a interactive map with the car spawn pools of the specific locations.

i had not noticied yet but is there any racing events with those tracks already in game or we would need make them into eventlab?
Yes, the game has races on the tracks. That's why I was talking about the track, I did a road racing event on it.

Don't quote me, but the Delta S4 might be one of the best dirt cars for B class. It's only 55,000cr and comes with budget rally tires as standard. I have a good all-around tune shared if you'd like! It wiped the floor with the AI in this season's championship for B class Retro Rally (I play on Highly Skilled currently). My gamertag is BeatBack93.

I'm forced to quote you as the S4 did only slightly better than the usual Evo/Scooby hegemony for me on Expert difficulty. Bowie knife99 and his pals left me in the dust nine times out of ten.

I was a bit (well, a lot) of a stats slave in FH5 and was ready to do the same thing in 6 until @breeminator reminded us all that the choice of car affects the performance and, in some cases, even the choice of which Drivatars the player's up against.

After trying every car I could get my hands on in B-class Retro Rally I found that this Renault 5 Turbo didn't bump up the AI speed much and turns on a 5-centime piece (I think they called it a sou in those days). Catching the opposition proved no problem for me as it really did le business, even at Takashiro Trail which ate my dinner in the other vehicles.

I didn't try its compatriot Peugeot 205 T16 which although another superb handler is tuned to a different class in my garage.

Thank you! This will be very helpful! As we've discussed earlier, it's possible to farm the rare spawns by bying what spawns, restart the game and repeating if you don't get what you want. The BRZ FE was the second car spawning for me up by the ski resort, next to the rally race. The first one was a Subaru Legacy if I remember correctly. It seems like there's only two cars spawning at that location, so it's quite easy to get and it's really overpowered in cross country races!

I also found this quick reference guide on tuning over on Threads. A lot of you already know perfectly well how to tune, but maybe it'll be helpful for someone:

As some of you mentioned earlier, Bowieknife 99 seems to be the modern incarnation of M.Rossi. It's become a bit of a meme over on TikTok how this driveatar is completely ruthless and crash into everyone else 😂
▶️Titta på hela videon nu!

Since I started playing the horizon games (fh5 on ps5 and now fh6 on pc) the Renault 5 turbo (with the maxi turbo kit) has been my go to in B/A/S1 class for dirt/cross country (and even the rally adventure dlc). Such a cool car and it drives like a dream😉
