I tried quite a few different builds with the Supra, and finally got one down to 1:39.8 in rivals (86th on the leaderboard). I still can't win against Unbeatable AI with it because they force you to take corners in a terrible fast in slow out style, otherwise they'll dive down the inside and smash into you. Share code if you want to try it.

The good news is that I tried your tune. It's crisp, precise and has a better launch than the top rated setup while equalling or bettering it in all the other stats. I smashed the like and follow buttons so hope to see more of your tunes pop up in the browser for future events.

The bad news? Bowie knife99, Albert WCG and the other bots all downloaded your tune as well and I ended up in eighth place. Same difficulty, car and course I won with a slower tuning setup yesterday. Contrary to what @AutumnalGlow seems to be saying above, the AI definitely seems to be problematic at launch so I'm glad Turbid and the crew are addressing it.

I'm convinced your setup will come in useful when it's time to Rivals all the courses for completion level though, so thanks for the share code.

In Japan, there is nothing below the Kei category, Kei is a defined ruleset to which cars must follow to be eligible.

Microcars are more open to interpretation, encompassing anything typically understood to be a Kei car, to heavy quadricycles, bubble cars and the like, rather than an official category of vehicle with defined restrictions.
It should be noted that the Kei regulations have changed multiple times over the years.

Hopefully they don't just slow the AI down across the board. The AI does sometimes have some weird behaviors, but I don't mind their slight speed increase vs FH5. In the long run once people figure out their cars and tunes and learn the roads better, it'll less of a challenge and it's nice to have the benchmark for car builds. In FH5 even "Unbeatable" could be relatively easy with the right car/build.

In terms of behavior I would say the biggest issue for me is they seem to still always be power builds, which made sense for previous games, but it could be re-balanced since this game has more technical roads compared to previous games. Or least vary a bit more in terms of their power/handling ratio.

They are, it's terrible. The difficulty levels are not the same as they were in FH5. I could be them just fine on Highly Skilled on FH5, now it feels like Unbeatable....
Yeah, they seem to have adopted an old Motorsport AI problem where the difficulty is not consistent across each race. I'm personally not a fan of the off-road races to begin with, but some of them, the AI feels like it's able to extract the exact amount of grip across various terrains through slower turns whilst (ironically) slowing down through some of the faster, sweeping turns.

I came across two races in Tokyo, one I believe someone already highlighted, where the AI is also quite fast for Highly Skilled. I really wouldn't mind it as much, if it weren't for another issue that seems to happen in every race; the AI just launches away & you immediately drop back 1-2 positions putting you on the back foot. And, if you're not quick enough early on, turn the race into a classic race nobody-likes, Chase the Rabbit in 1st.

I got the gold stamp a couple of days ago but have still yet to do the Launch Control Rush event. Now that the only incomplete events left on my map are Touges and (ptui) Drift Zones I guess it's finally time to move up a level.
I hate drifting as much as the next person (which is you. You are the next person) but I’ve found drifting is considerably easier in Tokyo than Mexico. I’ve already two or three starred nearly every drift zone I’ve attempted. Some I’ve three-starred on the first try. Which is to take nothing away from your struggles. I don’t know. Maybe it’s the Japanese setting that’s inspiring me.

Tell 'ya what, the Subaru BRZ Forza Edition is good at a lot of things.

It's a bit OP, isn't it?

I managed to pick up three or four rooftop boards within minutes of reading your post.

The loopy bridge was easy to complete. The Shiro Switch which is all straight roads takes a lot of effort. I have a feeling Thunderbird won't be a go for me either.

I'll admit to Don Thompsoning the discipline a little with my incessant whining, just for the laughs. It's the almost-nearly-but-not-quite attempts that are discouraging, though. All that time wasted could've been spent on other parts of the game that are actually fun.

The Hakone Nanamagari Drift Zone is the hardest one so far. I managed to 3-star that with countless rewinds.
