A game this large with this many moving parts and players is bound to have some bugs in it. I'm glad they are being open about it and making it right
They've been like that for the most part in FH5. Glad they're more communicative here.

@Edax 76 You bastard! :lol:

P.S. There are 3 certainties in life:
1. Death
2. Taxes
3. The Forzathon will be bugged at launch.

As with FH4, FH5 and FM23 before it, they are giving out freebie cars to compensate for the issue.

I think the problem with the Forzathons is that they don't go live until after release, so none of the previews include them for QA/testing purposes. Which means it relies on internal QA only, to find them. Which is never going to be sufficient (and QA teams have been cut generally across the industry recently although I don't know the specific situation for PG).

But FM23 had so little QA post release that they relied on the public to test series prior to launch in order to find most of the bugs.

Took a photo of these jumping birds because I thought it was funny, and a dialogue triggered telling me japan was full of wildlife and to add more to my collection. Was this content that was left out? There is nothing in the journal to photograph wildlife. Can someone replicate?

I got the same dialog a week or so ago when driving around cows. It really feels like there's meant to be something related to photographing wildlife.

I just found that you can remove the restrictor plate on the Gemera to give it the full 2300hp and oh my Jesus Christ that thing is insane.

When the time comes and Bugatti returns, I hope we get the Tourbillon so we could have a proper showdown between these two absolute monsters.

I dont think they are direct competitors.

Once again I completely agree with your post (not about @Edax 76 being a bastard lol). We've been through this before and it was very unlikely they'd leave us high and dry without the prize, especially as I figure many people triggered it early by accident when they showed up for their daily RakuRaku shift the previous week like I did.

Incidentally, #Forzathons appear to be called Weekly Challenges this time around. I'm trying to use the new terminology otherwise first time players won't know what the hell I'm talking about, not that I usually make much sense in the first place.

Thanks for the balanced view.

I couldn't resist @sirjim73 lol.

I've been doing the new weekly playlist seeing as the bug is still present. I've got them all done apart from 3 awesome drifts at Shibuya Crossing. That's a sod to achieve, the traffic just keeps getting in the way. I gave up in the end before I lost any chance of ever getting into heaven from using far too many naughty words 😂😂😂

Imagine if you go to the other place and there's bowie knife99 sitting on the throne.
It's really just the legendaries that are a problem. I now have every autoshow buyable car except for 7 of the most expensive legendaries. Of the wheelspin exclusive legendaries, I'm missing 5, I have every non-legendary wheelspin exclusive. The game will give you the wheelspin exclusive FEs and non-legendaries reasonably fast if you farm wheelspins, but the legendaries are tough because it doesn't appear to have any preference for giving you wheelspin exclusive legendaries, it seems to just be one big pool of legendaries you don't own that it can give you. And you only get a legendary roughly 1 in 100 wheelspins, or 1 in 33 super wheelspins. Those numbers are very approximate, I haven't tracked exact numbers, but I know if I farm 999 skill points and use them on Revueltos, I might get 15 spins from the XP, 75 spins from the masteries, 25 super spins, and you get some extras from spending the skill points, say 10 extra spins, so 100 spins and 25 super spins in total. That gets you 1 or 2 legendaries. So you want to buy the cheaper autoshow legendaries as soon as you're able to, to shift the pool as much as possible to the most expensive autoshow legendaries and the wheelspin exclusive legendaries. And if you can find any in the AH, that's helpful, obviously, I got a 288 GTO for 2m, and there were plenty of them, I've no idea why when there were no 599XX Evos, Venom GTs, Apollo IEs, Koenigsegg Ones, or Valhalla Concepts, the remaining 5 I need after getting the 288 GTO.
I ain't doing all that.

Instead I'm gonna take a chance on some of these cars showing up as playlist prizes or on the auction house. I realise skill points are more important than they were in the previous game, but I just quit my (RakuRaku) day job and buying up multiple cars to farm those points by the thousands seems like it'd be more of a chore than the regular weekly tasks ever were. I spent a few days in the last game flipping Willys for cash (so to speak, lol) and it was even less fun than trying to three star a gold wristband drift zone.

Kinda hoping that Mr. Ellert's strategy is to offer at least some of the vehicles on that list as reward cars in the future. Sure the cars are being "held back" to encourage weekly play but at least they're still available to assiduous players like you who are willing to put in the time and effort to meta the system.

Appreciate the detailed responses though. It's enlightening to know what's involved to obtain those cars quickly even if I'm waaay too lazy to jump through hoops of fire to get them.

If Bowie Knife99 isn't on the throne then he's shining Old Nicks hooves for him....

I wonder whether it'd work if you created an EventLab or did the drifts during the "Keiko-san clears Shibuya Crossing of traffic for 3 minutes" chapter of the Larry Chen Moto Auto Story.

bowie knife99 uses Beelzebub as a whipping boy and ashtray. I can just picture him with his feet up on the devil's head like a footrest tipping cigar ash into his mouth when he complains.

Now there's a bloody good idea. I'll give it a go on the story.

You are in my bad books though Mikey.....I was having a drink when I read the ashtray line and I snorted my drink everywhere 😂😂😂

Kinda funny how an Xbox title has reached wider cultural significance after many years of just existing. The uptick in Xbox's clout has grown considerably since the new CEO came in.

When I got the car the only upgrade I did was removing the restrictor plates and then drive the map as if it was stock (technically, it is). Car has soooooo much power it spins up to seventh gear, absolutely insane. And this is supposed to be a family car after all...

Against the Tourbillon probably the Gemera would just win in a drag race - for all intents and purposes, the Gemera is a grand tourer... one with almost twice as much horsepower than an Agera RS.

On another remark, seems that we can't go back to Summer for the Playlist, so FOMO is sadly back on the menu ☹️. We will see if we can play previous series when S2 begins...
