Oh, what the heck. Missing Roads Thread I've been here for nearly 15 years, ever since I bought my first XBox, a 360, and FM3. This community has been so good to me, I've done my best to give back. I've helped a couple people get cars when they were away from the game for an extended period. I helped a dozen people get codes for the Trolli Peel (speaking of which, I've still got one unused receipt if anyone outside the US needs one). The community is always deserving.

Some cars (McLaren P1, 2017 Ford GT) have had toggle modes, but for those cars I believe they could allow changing them as you go instead of having to be stopped (and leave that just for convertibles). If I went that route I'd also argue other cars could have that and, while it can be expanded, I don't believe it's a critical issue for the devs.

Regarding the whole R34 Z-Tune and 400R, I believe the bodykits and parts is enough, as replicas can be made from the upgrades/tunes, and devs can focus on bringing new models (between, say, a Cappuccino and a 400R as a new Car Pass car I'd pick the former). That's how I made the 300 SEL Red Pig and Scirocco N24 replicas in previous games.

I feel like they should expand that feature to more open top cars. It definitely has a lot of potential. Especially for a driving game its a awesome feature. Additionally having the windows go down when the roof is down would be great too. Maybe they will expand it after they are done with the drive mode stuff.

And also I feel like there is some JDM gems coming soon. The game is set in Japan and you can tell they are focusing a lot on the Nissan Skyline. While the 400R and Z-Tune may just be variants of the Skyline they are at the same time special cars as well with a story behind them.

I really hope they deliver on more expectations post launch as well.

I like that you can downgrade the Regera by swapping the CCGT engine in. Combined with a 7-speed transmission and a centrifugal supercharger, it makes a great S1 class car.

It's a driving game so it's expected to see immersive features like this. I was so dissapoited that they barely executed it in 5 and hope they don't do that mistake again otherwise don't bother with the feature at all. I do know the potential is there.

Outside of the 340k Drift Zone what other PR Stunts did you find difficult?

People are still managing to ace them though. Like @PJTierney said earlier, if PG's feedback data shows that a majority of people are getting stuck they may adjust them but as far as I know there's no evidence of this so far.

I'm not saying "git gud" but there's merit in hitting up social media or at least this thread to find out how other people do it. I'm no elite hardcore gamer but found everything except the drift zones fairly straightforward, if not a walk (or drive) in the park.

The right car makes a lot of difference. Try checking the leaderboards for each stunt to see what your friends and the top players are having success with.

My liveries have glitched - thumbnails show fine, and other people online see the liveries, but to me they've reverted back to standard. I'm hoping this one can be fixed as the liveries are still there, since others can see them.

But more annoyingly... All of my Horizon Promo etc photos are just white. Still registered as having them, but the image is just a white square. What's worse is I'd actually been putting effort into the pics so the scrapbook looked good.

I'm afraid to change platform again now. I knew the cross save would be a mess at launch.

FWIW, it plays pretty good on the Deck! Wouldn't want it to be my primary way to play. But it's great on low settings for getting collectables, seasonals etc when you can't get to your console.

Also, added a couple of you regulars on Xbox, if you don't mind. Want some more times to play against :lol:

Glad you mentioned this last bit, @Tomo, as I had no idea who was friending me and your request was initially on its way to the round file. I tried to add your countryman @PJ so I could find out which of his twenty-odd cars he's using for all those Rivals he completed, but after seeing his Peel drag race I don't think I can come anywhere near his times. :lol:

Hope your Promo photos and liveries come back.

Annoyingly, Xbox won't let me have my name start with a number, so I can't have 427 Motorsports. But then, I have had it as Shelby for over 15 years now!

I remember adding @PJTierney in the Motorsport 23 days. My skills have regretted it ever since :lol: Now I just enjoy his liveries instead :lol:

If it's any consolation bud I'm really struggling this time round on the drift zones. Really struggling, I need to get my eye in on them.

Sanity check: is save sync working well? On the Horizon 4 days I faced an issue with Xbox's save syncing where some of the events/PR stunts disappeared from the map and I had no way to play them again (in particular, the Horizon UK fest circuit) and I had to start over after a year collecting all FOMO cars up until that point. The reason was that at some point internet went down while syncing and it got partially corrupted :(

Luckily I haven't touched either vehicle in my garage yet, and now I'm not going to until it's fixed.

Yep all working perfectly to be fair to it - no issues in that way. Just the liveries and the pics being borked!

I saw a YouTube video where it was reported that many people have suffered corrupted saves in FH6, and that support has no solution other than to start afresh if the cloud backup saves don't work. It is apparently possible to create your own local backups.

I’ve only found that one 340,000 point drift super difficult, still haven’t got 3 stars yet.
The FE Lotus drifter nailed every other one.

This is the only one I've struggled with. The rest I've done with a RWD swapped 1.9TDI Caddy :lol:

EDIT: inb4 "there's no 1.9 TDI swaps in the game"
Caddy is a 1.6 diesel, you can bore it out to 1.9 and they're the same base block anyway, turbo conversion and fuel upgrade, you've basically got 90% of an early AHU TDI. Don't @ me :lol:

PG is the king of overcorrections.

Wheelspins gave out too many prize cars? Nerf' em.

Unbeatable AIs are too easy? Make those rocketship even faster.

Drift zones are cake walks right? A complete overhaul.
