Is there a multiplayer game mode where collisions can be turned off? I would love to widen my Horizons!

Everyone is ghosted in Rivals but I usually use it to race my own times.

I kind of wish there were options for ghosted races against other players because being nudged or sometimes deliberately rammed from behind is really kind of dispiriting after a while as I inevitably end up colliding with a wall or missing a checkpoint and getting penalised with slowdowns and resets.

I did try Custom but nobody was interested in the category I picked. Maybe I should give it another attempt.

I had a similar experience when I tried custom racing with collisions off, never had a full lobby and they never lasted more than one set of races. Then it disconnects you rather than search for more players, so you have to manually go back and try again. Maybe better luck if you leave the category and class open but not sure. Spec racing has been pretty good, generally have found more drivers willing to race clean over ones who will push you off.

I really enjoyed this season, as I'd left the top part of the map to discover it in the snow. Happy to see some green grass again, though.

FINALLY found the last road! It was somewhere in the middle of the map, but definitely wasn’t shown clearly on the map view. Had to play an EventLab to achieve this.

How is the offline experience where you dont get to play with real people?

I did try Custom but nobody was interested in the category I picked. Maybe I should give it another attempt.

Custom puts you in a matchmaking pool with people searching for the same thing. I’ve found them to be largely empty so far but on the plus side the game keeps you in what you searched for successive championships.

My club did A for 3 hours on Monday whereas in Forza Horizon 5 it would frequently throw up things we didn’t search for.

I think there's a noticeable decrease in traffic, presumably so the AI can run rampant down the middle of the road between them as you encounter the same AI cars every quarter mile.

I can't believe it... this is my first online win in any racing game ever. Maybe Play level 25 isn't as far away as I thought. Shaking my head in incredulity.

I personally find it boring and prefer online for that reason.

That's nice. I don't find it worth my time & money to give Xbox Live money after their price hikes. The only reason they have my money this month is b/c multiple friends are playing; when they fall off, I'll go back to offline.
