No point following the CLK Driving posts as they're obvious AI fakes.

Since it'll be posted here sooner or later - a new batch of car audio XMLs were included in today's update. These will likely be August cars since IIRC July's cars were already in from day one.

Yeah, but this one seems more dead set on capturing it. You've got two kei cars, one of which was the first car Honda ever exported to the US, two Japanese rally legends, a cute little retro sports car, and the new Toyota Prius. This feels like the first time they're really dialing in the eclectic nature of the Japanese auto industry, outside of the Pike Factory cars.

No explanation for the post-facelift Camaro or DB7, but they could easily be Car Pass cars as well.

Exactly yeah, I agree with all of the above.

And yeah those two could be car pass cars potentially which I wouldn't mind :)

I think those should be spun off into Series 5 with the theme having no country restrictions and have that possible all Japanese Automotive update be Japanese Car Pass cars and Reward Cars and car restrictions only.

But at the end of the day its all just speculation and all of these could arrive in the same update that features no country restriction. Hopefully Series 3 is Italian cars only (Car Pass, Reward Cars and restrictions) though.

I got to Legend Island the other night but have been mostly trying to find the remaining two roads. This is the first time I've played a Horizon game without a Gamepass subscription.

As for the Colossus AI, I haven't retried it in a couple days, since I had them all tear away in my stock-gear-ratio-787B, but I did the Goliath last night, and they were still quite quick Nothing like going at top speed on a straight and getting rear-ended.

I did an S1 run on it last night, they still pull away fast (and I'm on Highly Skilled). Managed 2nd with 3 seconds behind... you know who...

Like I said it seems everyone has been rebalanced except him. He is a rebel (rebel).

Highly Skilled was impossible for me on the Colossus before so knowing the other drivatars are at least catchable now is an improvement. I wonder what this means for The Trial as I want those ten points.

Just did 2 races, one on highly skilled and one on pro

The AI seems slightly fixed, on highly skilled (which is what I play when I play with friends) I was able to get to first within the first 20%

On Pro, I was able to get first at around 90%, though it was Felipe who was in the front the whole time. There is still something glitchy, as I had an Ultimae that kept speeding past me occasionally, despite me going 260, and this guy would speed by.
 
Unexpected side effect of the update: I had 669/671 roads discovered before, and now I've got them all, despite not taking any excursions out to find the missing two roads in the interim. Weeks of wondering "the map looks complete, what am I missing?" and then the update just went "ope, you're right, lemme get that for you." Whew.

They must have been the two nodes the patch notes said weren't triggering for some people before.
 
Now they are putting the points required to earn the cars,up to 20 and 40 as in FH5,I hope they leave the difficulty level self adjustable as it is now.I struggled with the difficulty that was preset in FH5 for the seasonals,I had to use the AH to collect some of the cars on the playlist,but thats not goibg to happen in FH6 anytime soon.lol
Obviously the trial will be a preset level as its always been.

Has it been confirmed that they're upping the points?
 
Starting the game up and being hit with all of the badges and the achievement for being level 100 was quite the surprise; did they mention the amount of XP needed to get there was being rebalanced, or was it just another inclusion on the sly? I’m happy all the same, as at my current pace it would’ve probably taken another 9 months with the old levelling system, I reckon.

Please no. It's not really Japanese enough and they only get two chances to make a great add-on per game. If they want to rehash the Hot Wheels idea a third time I think they should consider Tomica or a car related anime like Initial D or Speed Racer.

Perhaps if the series returns to the United States they could start looking at the Hanna-Barbera properties provided David Zaslav hasn't run Warner Brothers/Paramount into the ground by then in the pursuit of naked profit. gets off soapbox racer

I'm hoping it will be a brand new model using the new TME model as a base. I'm also hoping it'll get more customisation compared to the TME as while the TME has the cool wideboy kit that's all it's got going for it unfortunately 😕.

I actually thought the TME would replace the 1999 but I guess not. Hopefully the one from 5 will be a remodel.
 
I love the crowd shouting "Three!! Two!! One!! GOOOOO!!!" at the start of a race! I hope French voice acting clause problems are going to be fixed soon. I'd love to hear the crowd shouting "Trois!! Deux!! Un!! PARTEEEZ!!!".

Update: After checking whether the stalemate between MS and French voice actors has resolved, it seems it has gotten a lot worse.

Maybe they could add Neutral accent Quebec French like they did in World Of Warcraft and Overwatch... I wouldn't mind! Heck!! Why not a full-on Quebec French for us who were born in the "Belle Province" like the Simpsons, the vintage Flintstones and the newer Family guy episodes are doing? They just need to hold back on the cursing words.

Very cool, love to see the two Hondas and the Prius among others. (I totally spaced on the fact that the '74 Celica was missing at launch... good to see it back already.) Evo VI is a bit of an odd one to see after the new scan, as others have mentioned, but hopefully it being "replaced" by the new car at launch means this one might get some updates of its own + more customization than the current one (even if only the old bumpers etc).

Question though; you mention the July cars being in from day one, but as someone who hasn't been glued to this thread for the past month+, I haven't a clue what they are (nor am I finding much in my attempts to search the thread). :lol: If there is one in the thread already, could anyone be so kind as to direct me to a list (either of what's speculated for July OR just a list of XMLs for vehicles which aren't in the game yet), or if there isn't one yet, would anyone happen to know what they are? (I do recall the Autech R33 being mentioned, but don't know if that was confirmed, nor whether others beyond that were found)

That much I did see, unfortunately (though, I suppose it makes sense). Also did do a bit of digging just now and saw it mentioned here that Series 3 would likely be themed the same way as the Italian Passion pack (i.e. probably mostly Italian cars). (But, not sure beyond that)
