That much I did see, unfortunately (though, I suppose it makes sense). Also did do a bit of digging just now and saw it mentioned here that Series 3 would likely be themed the same way as the Italian Passion pack (i.e. probably mostly Italian cars). (But, not sure beyond that)
I hope the Car Pass is Italian cars only.

Anyone else noticed that changing the intake on any car adds more exhaust pops and fire? That has to be a glitch right?, changing the exhaust also adds more pops so technically you can get twice as many.

No point following the CLK Driving posts as they're obvious AI fakes.

Since it'll be posted here sooner or later - a new batch of car audio XMLs were included in today's update. These will likely be August cars since IIRC July's cars were already in from day one.

Methinks that the following will be Car Pass Cars:
  • 1970 Honda N600
  • 1972 Honda Z GT
  • 2003 Aston Martin DB7 GT
  • 2024 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1

Playlist cars include:
  • 1974 Toyota Celica GT
  • 1988 Mitsubishi Starion ESI-R
  • 2024 Toyota Prius Prime
  • 1999 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI GSR (oh gosh! Not the recycled model!)
Not bad of an update if this is Series 3.

I have a brilliant idea, why not, instead of wasting time with "penalizing" people who took advantage of a worthless exploit in The Eliminator, something be done about the absolute bottery being done in the Auction House?

I absolutely cannot get any of the FE cars (and the Furai; what can I say, I nuked it in a fit and it's the only race car I want back ) without being sniped within seconds of an auction going live by what I can only presume is a bot. It's pixels on a screen, ffs, it's not like it's actual PC hardware or some 🤬.

Incredibly frustrating.

Auction House is an ancient system at this point; feels like it was designed for a very different time (which it practically was, considering how far back it goes with relatively-few updates outside of search filtering etc.). With normal cars, you often either get stuck in a bidding war until someone ends up buying out the lot out of frustration (for higher than it would go in the autoshow ), or nobody bids and you get it for base -- there seems to be very little in between, and bidding wars are rather frustrating due to refreshing being slow. And if it's a rare/desirable wheelspin/playlist car, then good luck competing with the bots/macros.

I don't think outright replacing it would be necessary, but just to float an idea, something like an "import/used car marketplace" could be interesting in my mind (playing off the aftermarket car system, but NOT updating/replacing it -- it could share theming, but would otherwise be entirely separate). In essence, players could submit X price (in credits, of course) which they'd be willing to pay for something, and if someone feels like selling that car for that much, then it would go to the first person who put up a buy offer for X credits (and then the next, etc). Or, a seller could list a car for Y price - even if there are no current "buy" offers high enough - and if someone felt like paying that much for it, then it could sell for Y credits to whoever bought it first. Think something a bit like the Steam marketplace, but with in-game currency only, of course (and anonymous + with limits similar to the auction house's dynamic buyout adjustments, both in an effort to help prevent grey market sales).

Of course, in the case of especially rare/desirable cars, this could probably still be subject to botting/super high pricing making it inaccessible to some, but it feels like it could at the very least be a bit better of an experience than having to constantly refresh/attempt to snipe cars via the auction house. (And, the slowness of the auction house's updates wouldn't pose most of the same issues.)

Probably not a perfect solution regardless, but just spitballing.

Pretty sure Series 3 will be Italian themed so if anything this is Series 4. I do hope that 1999 Lancer will be a remodel. It would be super strange if only the Car Pack ends up being Italian themed.

Simple thing I'm still obsessing over, even though it's so simple.

Emulating eBay is probably the closest the AH will ever get to "good enough", and even then there would have to be measures put into place to minimize automated foolishness as much as possible. But the question is how could that comfortably be done without being absolutely intrusive and invasive? An idle timer would be next to useless? Third-party site? That's more hassle than it's worth and would be subject to a whole other host of issues and setbacks.

A higher auction hosting fee could be a possible solution, as could having to divvy up a portion of whatever the auction sells for to the Horizon Event "host" company. It's something I've been thinking about for a few years on and off, and nothing I've come up with is necessarily...worthwhile.

Receipts sent to you and @CTRL Garage.
Thank you!!!

or not penalise people who had to do an eliminator last week for the Lotus Exige and had more than 10mil balances... now I'm missing around 8mil...

Now they are putting the points required to earn the cars,up to 20 and 40 as in FH5,I hope they leave the difficulty level self adjustable as it is now.I struggled with the difficulty that was preset in FH5 for the seasonals,I had to use the AH to collect some of the cars on the playlist, but thats not goibg to happen in FH6 anytime soon.lol
Obviously the trial will be a preset level as its always been.
I hope too they allow us to keep changing difficulty - depends on how much FOMO I'm feeling I just want it over and done with so I can get the reward cars and go race something for fun without having the fear of not obtaining said reward car. And said reward car never appearing again. Even if I have 20m and the car doesn't appear in the auction house like what happened in FH5..

Given their stance on trying to remove FOMO as best they can, I don't think they can gatekeep cars behind Highly Skilled difficulty again. That must alienate players of the five levels of play below that, which isn't a good look.

A website that will soon be gone forever... The normal Forza website will still continue though but not the Forums.
I wouldnt be surprised if there were more users on these forums once its closed.Discord seems a bit of a mess,if you dont go on there for a day theres too much pointless comments to wade through to catch up on and ive never got involved with twitter.

I was banned from that server for swearing about The Eliminator and that 5s map was built around it. Even though Discord is not for everyone. I don't really use Discord that much anymore to be honest.

I imagine one is a lot more complicated than the other, but they're not exclusive to each other. They may well be working on both.

With the rebalanced difficulty, I won the Colossus in expert difficulty level (Ferrari SF90 Stradale at S2900). Here and in other races I observed that the alien bursts of speed were gone.
Ran the race last night with my Venom F5, and aside from two Centenarios doing nearly 300mph to keep up with me on straights, their bullcrap cornering speeds are gone. No more 240mph slot-car handling in the Tokyo city section. The Colossus is actually fun now! And I won comfortably by 11 seconds on Expert.

I can now win in pro, which was really hard before. Didnt try any of the longuer race as I had quite a short time and only did the playlist races but won all of those in pro with winning 8/9 races. I'm also using the cheat to have good start each time as I dont really understand how it works to get it manually and I can't be bothered it doesnt bring anything as far as I can tell compare to the automate version.

Oh and the daily challenge that I couldnt completed got completed, it looks like they gave everyone all the daily challenge for the 4 sesons or at least to people who complete some, because for this week, they were all done and I didnt had any done yesterday (that I know of).

They arent talking about that bug fix tho which is weird because it doesnt seems to be fix, they just gave everyone every dailies.

I have the feeling is a problem of your stats not updating correctly. Because for me I noticed that the total amount of race win in same car championship seems very low for me, compare to what I've done. It might be that it's because it's championship win but that would be absurd as when I do these, ususally I start at the 2/3 or 3/3 race and then get disconnect because there's not enough players found, even when the 3/3 lobby was full. And when I join a 1/3 session, usually we are 2 players and then the lobby get filled in 2/3 race. I rarelly had a serie of 3/3 with the same drivers. I even had session where I won the first race with ease and have everyone leave and the game kick me off because he couldnt find other games at 2/3 where I could be injected I guess ? But that only happen once.
