Is it true they're upping the points ceiling on the weekly playlist to 20 and 40 points? Rather annoying if that's the case. While I'm not a fan of the whole FOMO thing, I appreciated the 15 and 30 points. Is it because some hardcore players who play for hours on end thought it was too easy?

I haven't looked specifically, but for S1 the season and series rewards came at 33% and 66% of the points totals: 15/30 in 45pt seasons, and 60/120 in the 180pt series.

If they're keeping that proportionality and adding at least 10pt to each week because of the return of the Trial, it would make sense that it's 20/40 for 60pt seasons, and 80/160 from the 240pt series.

The reason why they were so low is because the Trial wasn't implemented yet. Now it will be in Series 2 and beyond, so the Playlist point requirements need to be updated to account for that. Those 15 point cars needed to account for about 1/3 of the Series completion without the Trial, and with the Trial, you need to have 60 points, so 20 (33% completion) and 40 (66% completion) it has to be, unfortunately.

One thing I'm definitely surprised they aren't going to bring back is Seasonal EventLab--I looked through the Festival Playlist section on the Collectors' Journal, and it's just not there. Guessing the whole 'you can start EventLab builds anywhere' thing kinda killed that idea stone-dead.
 
Yeah, I'm not a massive fan of The Trial. Just hate multiplayer in general. Although I get that in this case you'd think most players have the same goal so there shouldn't be too many @@@@@ on there.
 
I enjoy the Trial when everyone cooperates. But it can be absolutely miserable if even one person decides to act clueless
 
Didn't they make enough money already, can't they keep the PL and it's exclusive cars available without the need to spend more money every month? Plus the single player experience works better 'off-line' for me, get weird bugs with disappearing cars at times.

I enjoy mp racing but in FH unless you dedicated an evening to it, invite your friends over and run with them, the whole MP is really badly done. The matchmaking is horrible, it's complicated to race on the race you want and most of all, the ratings system which determine how fast your car is in MP (and in general) is broken as ****. You can have so much speed difference for the same A700 ratings that it's not so fun to play. What I played the most is the stock car racing where everyone use the same car but even then, the mm is so bad that it's not really enjoyable. And I dont know why they want to put me in a series where there is alreday 1 or 2 race done, that's just stupid. I would rather wait a little bit but be sure to start in a serie that is at 1/3 race.

I kinda like eliminator, I had fun in that, even if gatcha is a big part of it and knowing which car are good or not. That being said, I dont like the race to the finish flag kind of race, I wish we had touge, off-road, mixed road and road race on eliminator depending on where you start the 1vs1 race, it would be also more fun to race against a big 4x4 with your tiny honda.

And then, and I'm guessing that's why it was turned off atm, in one of the run, after like 1 minutes passed, I saw someone getting a lv.15 car while most of us where on the lv.1 car still, that's not normal and it's not fun either. You have very few chances of winning against a lv.15 car at the start.
