They already told us what would be in series 2 before the game launched, the cars have also been in game the whole time. I am not sure why people are getting angry that it is an obvious filler series. PG most likely had it set so they could spend more time the first and second month working on fixing bugs and issues.

The reason why they were so low is because the Trial wasn't implemented yet. Now it will be in Series 2 and beyond, so the Playlist point requirements need to be updated to account for that. Those 15 point cars needed to account for about 1/3 of the Series completion without the Trial, and with the Trial, you need to have 60 points, so 20 (33% completion) and 40 (66% completion) it has to be, unfortunately.

One thing I'm definitely surprised they aren't going to bring back is Seasonal EventLab--I looked through the Festival Playlist section on the Collectors' Journal, and it's just not there. Guessing the whole 'you can start EventLab builds anywhere' thing kinda killed that idea stone-dead.

And I was quite enjoying how trial-less the Welcome to Japan playlist was... Not too happy about the chore list returning to its usual slogfest. The positive here is that reward cars previously locked behind online events are now available without having to do that. Gamepass is such a ridiculous price these days, I've just not been subscribing to it.

If they're going to continue locking things behind online modes, I hope they keep up with bringing them back the following series.

People were mad when in Forza Horizon 5 they added a lot of cars that were in Forza Horizon 4 into the Festival Playlist rather than the Autoshow.

Also yay, rallye golf! As an owner of three Mk2s I’m praying they don’t mess this one up.

I’m so grateful the Forza series has the Mk2 Golf in it but I’m going to say the word inconsistencies and hate myself for it.

Good guesses but I doubt that all 4 of that weeks car pass cars will be correlating with the Italian season.

Let us know if you do; I made a modern day recreation with the ND, but the one vinyl group I found isn’t quite right and it bothers me more than it should. I’m not equipped to do any better, but still.

Given their stance on trying to remove FOMO as best they can, I don't think they can gatekeep cars behind Highly Skilled difficulty again. That must alienate players of the five levels of play below that, which isn't a good look.

And especially given it seems the difficulty levels to have been given more difficulty in Japan. I like a challenge but don’t need my head punched in.

I don’t mind the series 2 car lineup. Gives me another chance at getting the Saleen and a better one at that. Pumped for the car pass lineup! All four cars are exciting for me for different reasons. I wonder if the Autech Skyline will have any aero options. I doubt it but would be nice.

First off, PG are jerks for making the 964 Leichtbau a Series reward rather than a Playlist car.

Second of all, official confirmation that Series 3 will be titled Italian Exotics! Definitely going to be racking my brain predicting THIS one.

It's good for the console players who didn't want to pay for Game Pass subscriptions, but to truly solve the FOMO issue, I would rather see the returning cars be added into the Autoshow instead.
