Its still a update just not a noticable one.
It literally isn't, tho. We got a patch, but no content update. All the cars for Series 2 were already part of the day-one game install.

Usually they'll drop a content update before a new series start. IIRC it worked the same with Horizon 5 - two months, then CU1, then CU2 after a month.

So Series 3 is when things get more exciting again? Also I am pretty sure this dual content update thing was only a thing in the holidays until now.

Yeah, usually this is either launch window or holidays. Sometimes you see it when there's a lead-up to an expansion (the Extreme E and Hot Wheels Series back in FH5 were a double Series update IIRC) but that is very rare.

Right I forgot Forza Horizon 5s launch window was right before the holidays lol. This game definitely has a lot of potential and I dont think every update will be filler.

Looking at CLK Driving's YouTube post on his direct response to people accusing him of using AI. He has admitted that he used AI, but he stated that "AI was rarely used for completion of textures for certain cars".

I honestly still think that his "leaks" are fake until someone else provides proof to me that these are apparently real.

His P.S. is a bit nuts.

Its also kinda a shame as all the videos he has done showed us useful stuff that ended up being real.

It's FINALLY happened!!!

I'll go to the other thread and post the map picture shortly, but I'm just excited (and honestly, quite relieved).
I had the same today after finding that I was missing an upper bridge route despite it being shown as explored. I'm just happy to have 671/671 as well!!

AI was likely used for nearly all of it, hence why small details like wheel spokes & mirror supports ended up being giveaways.

I was banned from that server for swearing about The Eliminator and that 5s map was built around it. Even though Discord is not for everyone. I don't really use Discord that much anymore to be honest.
I mean I met most of my friends through discord and I also use these forums and I use discord for the gaming side of it and or see who’s online etc basically discord is helped me a lot through the years and keeping up with friends and posts say in the ar12 discord or the crew motorist etc

After testing on numerous races (Colossus, Goliath, Titan), I can honestly say that Unbeatable AI are on the level of FH4's Unbeatable difficulty now. They provide a heck of a challenge (and some laughs when I had a Durango chasing my Venom F5 at 290mph), but their impossible grip is watered down now to even lower levels than FH5's. There are some races where it's still a bit noticeable, but it's not nearly as bad as before.

That said, I have noticed they like to ram your rear bumper quite a lot now. Even when the speed difference is only a few mph, they'll still bump you.

So, this was a more recent Super Wheelspin.

I think I might turn this into a rally car again.

Outside of these wheelspins, my recent progress has been completing the rivals modes and I bought the last 2 houses. Plus collecting more cars, mainly because there's some I need for Youtube reasons.
Damn I've wanted that blouse from day one!

I'm dreading all the drift stuff I still have left to do. I did what I needed for the achievement, but my map is still covered in 0-star drift challenges.

I really don't enjoy them.

Low-key hoping they lower the requirements for 3 stars in a future patch so I can clear them all out and be done with it.

Picked up the Saleen after trying my hand at Horizon Play. A bit out of my comfort zone as I’m very slow and a bit wary of how people behave in multiplayer but got the three Ultimate clean racing skills. Easier than expected. When the lights went green I just hung back in last and lapped by myself.

Try this tune for the Abarth 595 '68. (Share code: 148 802 766)

It's also recommended to switch to manual transmission without clutch and shift up to third gear. Also try turning traction control off and activating stability management as it'll help prevent your car from 360°ing.

Thank you! Will try.

I was struggling as well with drifts, i checked the leaderboard and tried the #34 Supra Formula Drift. Downloaded the first tune it suggests (20+ ratings) and was able to 3-star all of them with that car within ~1 hour

Roads done (Thx for the Thread @Populuxe - found the last 3 in there)
PR stunts done
Collectables done

Now on to complete all race events and rivals and some photography but not ready to check guides yet for the murals - lets see how many i can find on my own. Only 4 to go!

While I knew we weren't going to get exclusive cars like we did the first series, I am disappointed by the rewards this first week.

Sorry, but I think wheelspin exclusive cars should've been the prizes, because these are just cars that are going to bloat my garage and gives me no real incentive to do the championships. And I know the theme is 80's cars, but we could've gotten the '84 288 GTO, or the '84 Sport Quattro.

Has anybody noticed that we get one 360 era returnee per playlist?

Series 1 - Toyota Altezza (different trim level)
Series 2 - Dodge Ram SRT-10

I wonder what 360 era returnee would we get for Series 3 - Italian Exotics...

The '88 M3 is at least worth 250,000 credits in the Autoshow, though the DeLorean being 90,000 and the '80s F-150 being, like, 65,000 does throw this off quite a bit.

That's fair, but the rewards still feel a bit lacking this series, I would much rather have Wheelspin exclusives over cars I can buy from the autoshow.

It's good for the console players who didn't want to pay for Game Pass subscriptions, but to truly solve the FOMO issue, I would rather see the returning cars be added into the Autoshow instead.
I agree with this. They should have done that.

Or, the other solution be, is to make past playlists permanent, so people can get the reward cars at their own pace without worrying too much. If FM2023 had that feature for permanent events, why not Horizon 6?

Ok wow this is good.

Thank you. Just first tried 3 in a row.

Thank you.
