Okay, now that we're over midway through the Series, and a couple weeks away from the first actual Series update, time for mid-Series predictions! Man I missed doing this.

I'll come out and say that predicting Car Pass cars is going to be next to impossible, since I've never known them to match the theme of any given update. But... I do remember from FH5 that Ferrari got one big car drop early on in the game's life then peaced out for the rest of the game in favor of Volkswagen Auto Group and its Lambos taking the Italian supercar spotlight, so my prediction's going to be, simply put, The Ferrari Update.

Series Reward Car: Ferrari Daytona SP3 (80 points--headline car), Lamborghini Tememario (160 points)

Summer: Ferrari 12cilindri (New-to-Forza, 20 points), Maserati GranTurismo (Returning, 40 points)
Autumn: Ferrari Luce (New-to-Forza, 20 points--because Obligatory EV, for one thing, and for two, Ferrari seems REALLY DESPERATE to make the Luce happen), Italdesign Zerouno (40 points)
Winter: Ferrari Purosangue (20 points), Lamborghini Sian FKP (New-to-Horizon, 40 points)
Spring: Ferrari 296 Speciale (20 points), Italdesign DaVinci Concept (Returning, 40 points)

I sprinkled in a few other returning Italian exotics for good measure, but I'm definitely expecting a 40 point car week Series. Possibly even Exclusive Rewards for the Seasonal Championships or other Wheelspin exclusive Italian cars tossed into the Trial. Don't quote me on this yet--we'll see next Friday--but that's what I'm betting.

Also, I fully expect this Series to be where Seasonal EventLab returns. That 'New Events' placard on the Coming Soon tab seems... suspicious, unless it's referring to Horizon Stunt Party finally being in the Playlist, who knows?
We're not getting the Luce it's far too new lol, plus if we did get it I'd just keep constantly crashing it lol 😅 😂. Also the last 2 festival playlists haven't had the obligatory Ev haha.

Times have changed, i doubt it’s a few months now. Even in Le Mans Ultimate, we got the new Hyundai hypercar days before its actual track release and lmu is a way smaller studio plus they need more time to refine the handling since it’s full sim.
With the manufacturers providing the data, modeling a car in game shouldn’t be that complicated or time consuming anymore
playground games method of scanning cars is different and the Luce is to new of a car.

Since it’s 2 weeks away till the next update, I would keep my expectations a bit low for the playlist. Series 2’s 40/160 point cars were just recycled from Series 1.

Here’s what I speculate would be added through the playlist.

Series Reward Car (80 points): Ferrari Purosangue (New to Forza)

Season Point Rewards:
  • 1990 Fiat Panda 4x4 (badge textures were spotted in FM23 files icymi, though I think that this can be a possible Car Pass car)
  • 2019 Italdesign DaVinci Concept
  • 2008 Maserati GranTurismo
  • 2019 Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 (Last seen in FM23)
You forgot the 160 point reward car and I think you're being a little bit too harsh imo, I'm sure we'll get more new cars than just cars from FM2023 coming back as to new to FH6 cars lol.

Does anyone know if this video actually means something for the future of Forza Horizon 6?

It's just him being him and wanting to get his opinions heard more I guess? idk lol

I think there is a high chance that confirmed Ferrari 575M Maranello remodel could end up being a part of Series 3 alongside the Lamborghini Huracán Evo Spyder.
Potentially yeah.

If you mean Modern Muscle, then yes. As @ClassicSV pointed out on Friday, Pickups and 4x4 races are biased towards offroad events. From what I understand the Ram seems to be designed to be more competitive on tarmac.
I forgot I typed that last week and then just didn't delete it when I posted again 😂

One thing that baffles me is the absence of The Marathon in FH6...so I made my own. Locked to Upgrade Heroes tuned to S1 800 max, this route has a nice balance of speed, agility, and split-second reactions. Can you brave the slick tarmac in the dead of night? Race ends in the Daikoku Car Meet parking lot.

Would love an Anything Goes version of this too please bud.

Most modern cars don’t even start with a scan anymore, the manufacturer sends a CAD model that the studio can use as reference for building their own.

F1’s been using CAD from the teams for over a decade.

Cars from the pre-CAD era you’d still need to scan and photograph the old-fashioned way.

Which makes me wonder why they lumped the SVT Lightning and GMC Syclone/Typhoon into that category instead of something more fitting like Retro Muscle, as they're are pretty obviously designed to be fast on roads and are pretty crap in offroad races.

One of the most frustrating things about user-made races in this game is that you can't download and tweak anything about them. I've run a lot of interesting custom circuits and sprints and street races that I'd like to try at different times of day or different weather or with a different field/number of opponents, but everything's locked. Now that I've hit gold wristband, aced all the races, smashed all the collectibles, and shifted to the "make my own career" phase of the game, the lack of adaptability in custom content like this is my biggest frustration, and yet the least likely to be fixed anytime soon.

They should have used a New to Forza variant instead like a 370Z Roadster/Fairlady Z Z34 Roadster.
The case for the old Z model is made even stranger when you realize the newer Nismo Z model gets access to all of the same exterior customization options - to the point where they even appear to use the same models (i.e., the geometry around the Nissan logo is a tad wonky on the old-gen Nismo rear bumper) making it quite a bit more redundant unless you really want to run the stock/non-Nismo 2010 front/rear bumper, need a bit more headroom to build the car out within B class (the 2019 can be downgraded to the top of B, but only just), or prefer a more accurate interior (to that era of Nismo car)/other specs. Though, it isn't as though the later cars changed THAT much on the inside...

In complete fairness to the Nismo kit on the 2010 car, though: the Nismo badge is inexplicably missing from the rear of the OG Nismo kit on the 2019, whereas it does properly appear when used on the 2010... 🤔

Adding cars to the Festival Playlist that were in many other Forza games just isnt going to make most people happy and we saw this in Forza Horizon 5 and people were mad.

I just dont understand why they dont just put them into the Autoshow. The Festival Playlist would be so much better if it only had New to Forza cars and cars we have not seen in a really long time.

But I still have hopes for the games future but there is definitely some things they need to change.

Indeed, it would ultimately be nice to see them add more waves of cars to the Autoshow with future updates in addition to the Festival Playlist content, even if a lot of said additions were simply other "variations" of existing cars. For instance, I was quite happy to see all three versions of the ND Miata (soft-top, RF, and Cup) included on launch, rather than only the "best" version (either the RF or Cup) being selected to represent that generation. (There are other examples of this as well.) Could be nice for the same to be expanded to the NC in the future, for example, seeing how many versions of it have appeared in previous titles (including some exceptionally-unique ones). Not gonna get into the top STILL not working in freeroam on the regular NC even though it has a functional roof in Forzavista mode... that's a topic for a different post, lol :ouch:

More of the unique stuff - i.e. noteworthy model updates/rescans, new-to-Forza vehicles, carry-forwards from Forza Motorsport which haven't been in a Horizon game yet (WS6? Aztec? DeTomaso Pantera? etc 🙏), DLC cars from FH5 (like what they did with the Lotus Emira), and/or cars which haven't been seen in a long time - would absolutely make for the the strong/more compelling Playlist content overall (as opposed to simply recycling cars which were already in the playlist from FH5 with few/no changes).

However, I personally wouldn't expect it given their track record with previous titles, especially 5. Call me a cynic, but I don't see the content drip-feed format changing much this time around, outside of possibly making some content available via the Aftermarket Car system (and only because they directly-stated it as a possibility). I would be very happy for them to prove me wrong--but, I'm not getting my hopes up just yet, either (especially looking at Series 2, outside of the Ram and Rallye Golf).

Congrats. Having already got these following a recent skill point farming spree, the only worthwhile spin I've received recently was the Bentley Bentayga.

I checked out the Auction House and found an '83 Audi Sport Quattro and '98 AMG CLK-GTR for sale but cheaped out by putting in unsuccessful minimum bids instead of buying them outright like I should've done.

Besides those two I still have an unlucky thirteen wheelspin exclusive cars to somehow hunt down. Back to bidding against bots, I guess, if any of them ever show up again in time for a modless console peasant like me to snap them up.

I also have thirty-nine Autoshow cars still to add to my collection plus whatever exclusives come down the pike in the future.

I gave your event a like although Block Party and Unbeatable drivatars on the highway aren't my thing. Thank god you didn't make it foggy as well as dark and wet. Some of my Play races were like that and they weren't fun for some of the other drivers. I guess we could always use radar but I find it too distracting to use, unlike in FM2023.

I have about 415 cars including all FE cars and I simply couldn't win any more new cars from the wheelspins.

That's it for me as I'm heading to a month long vacation, I will see how my collection goes after the break.

I have five hundred and fifty-four unique cars so far. According to my journal I'm missing fifty-nine.

Since I covered fifty-four in my previous post, I guess the remaining five are next week's 2017 Mercedes-AMG GT R plus four exclusive cars from each of the weeks of the Italian Exotics playlist.

The total will probably go up once more car pass cars and playlist exclusives are announced, I figure.

You're doing great. I have only 399 so far. The only FE I’m missing is the GT-R FE.

Thanks. Car Collection's the last Discover Japan category I've yet to complete.

The Black Edition R35 seems to be one of the hardest Forza Editions to get, if not the hardest along with that monster truck Ford Super Duty you picked up earlier. I've had around five from wheelspins and wish I could've gifted you one.

Photographing all the cars is another matter. I got very used to pressing up on the d-pad at the beginning of races which dealt with a huge swathe of them and some more turned up during Stunt Parties.

I wonder if you can create EventLabs or challenges with the missing cars in but somehow I don't think it's that easy. I really don't want to have to pick them all out to display four at a time in garages as that seems really tedious and when I tried checking the missing cars as opponents in a Custom Race it appeared to be pretty random whether they showed up or not.

Car Collector is my last Discover Japan category as well. Since the very first Horizon, I’ve always collected cars from most to least expensive. That means it’s a little slow at the beginning, but speeds up later. I’ve been considering changing that up a bit by buying the most expensive cars I don’t have a Promo photo for and working my way down from there, then going back and getting the rest.

I tried setting up event lab photo booths for specific cars, but I don’t see an option for that.

I actually just realized how they'd handle the whole 'FOMO cars returning in the Aftermarket Car mechanic' thing. Bring back Tommy Bargains, but make him into an Evolving World Aftermarket Car spot, where you'd find former Festival Playlist rewards from (say) the last three months on rotation like all the others.

Of course, it's just as possible that they'd use him for the REALLY expensive cars, like the 330 P4 and GT40, but... now we have Autoshow Vouchers for THAT stuff.

Speak for yourself... mine were used up in seconds.

I’m not sure if I just suck at navigating the racing barriers compared to the AI or if the difficulty is lopsided between street races and road races. I play with Rewind and can win on Unbeatable for Street Races but Expert seems to be the best I can manage for road races except at the Legend Island circuit. Anyone else find Street Races much easier than Road Races?

Something along those lines would probably make sense; we do already have that one garage near the stadium with 3 used car slots, but a proper "used car dealer" of some sort would probably work quite well for a rotation of returning Festival Playlist cars. An evolving world spot could make for a nice seasonal tie-in feature, but a fixed location (or perhaps, more than one?) on the map would probably make the most realistic sense, especially if they went the route of including an actual showroom.

Now, as for Tommy... maybe he could appear as a side-character or an occasional cameo, but surely the shop itself would have a local at its helm :D Yuji, mayhaps?
Or they could add all FOMO cars directly to the Autoshow.
But then it wouldn't be FOMO, would it?

For the record, that would be a good thing, but the whole point of FOMO is... well, FOMO, so

Custom Races actually should have been already implemented on base version of Horizon 6.

Feeling bored with the game already, which is worrying. The cars last week were not worth my time after getting back from holiday, but that means I've probably missed the chance to get the 964 as I've no intention of doing the online stuff to get 40 points this week and next.

They need to change it up, as there's no significant difference to the playlist from the last game, and then they go and make it 20 and 40 points for the cars, so you're just doing more of the same. 🤦

I did manage to score a Revuelto for 183k and an SCargo FE for 500k, so it's not all bad. I'm just lacking motivation to pick it up weekly, which is shocking in the game's second month.

It will be interesting to see how the ps5 players get the expired reward cars, also friend of mine has just started the game and asked me how to get the past reward cars.
Just a thought, maybe once the PS5 version release date is announced, maybe we will get some info about obtaining previous reward cars.Fingers crossed.

I still hope for a The Crew Motorfest-Style way of repeating past festivals to get the rewards. Make them available after 6 months for example. Although it doesnt quite fit with the daily tasks and online races;
