When I was playing the lighting in the game was weird and when I went through some tunnels it went like a deep pitch black and the cars I was driving in the tunnels turned a strange shiny black color.
Noticed this while doing the Trial. My brake got VERY bright at certain parts of the first race. I honestly thought I had RTX on because of how bright and how much bloom they would give.

For some reason, the Trial was a real struggle for me. It took three tries. We did win the last try in only two races, but each win was only by 50 points. That’s cutting it close.

As soon as I got the Ferrari F80 and removed the black stripe on the hood, I was in love. Then I went to work on conquering all road and street races with it (40 races!) in one go.

Couple that with completing everything I could do for this week's Festival Playlist for now, and this was the most fun I've had in FH6 in a long while.

The Pantera is really useful for this week's Night Time Views street race championship. Check out this vulgar display of power versus a field of Unbeatable drivatars. It's so overpowered it's like the car was saying "I'm broken".

Are the playlist championships stuck on “Highly Skilled” difficulty like in FH5 or can you change the difficulty now? That might explain why you won so easily.

There's no mention of a minimum difficulty for the championships, so I assume you can do them on any difficulty. I normally run on Highly Skilled anyway.

You can change the difficulty for the seasonal championships but the trial is fixed.
I think they may have surreptitiously locked the seasonals to Highly Skilled. I started in 8th position despite my difficulty being set to unbeatable and the AI were very slow. Did the same race with custom settings are started in the usual 10th place and they were much quicker.

I didn't had a single interesting wheel spin car there. I'm looking for a 288 GTO and possibly another F8 but so far no luck.
I'll bet the Wheelspin exclusives will be in future pools. The Aftermarket dealer is said to expire next Thursday but we know it's a full-series thing, so they're probably going to cycle it over to different cars every week.

The f8 is an ugly car as is the f80 ferrari
F80 maybe, but the F8...?

You're in luck--in the game, that strip can be painted over. Including the bits around the headlights!

I did mine like this but I couldn’t get the yellow right by spoiler for the decals. I painted the body and wheels blue carbon and wrapped it yellow.

This car belongs to Dana Mecum.

I just now did the Italian Spritz championship and I’m sure the difficulty is lower than Expert. The game doesn’t give you the opportunity to change the difficulty before the race or if you hit restart during the race like it normally does for custom races. I play custom races between Expert and Unbeatable depending on my car and the race and the AI are significantly harder to beat. It’s very strange that the game doesn’t tell you what difficulty the AI are though.

It seems no matter where I go on the map it’s always full of players, I don’t play online often, is this how it usually is?
Yep, on FH6 they tried to make the map full of players. The way they did it AFAIK is by chopping the map to regions/smaller lobbies, so you can see players everywhere. not making the map a whole lobby like previous game

I actually quite like the overall shape and silhouette of the F80, I even actually don’t totally hate the black strip, for me it’s the headlights and lower front end elements where it becomes a pit of a mess.

I like the idea of the black, but really dislike the way headlights sit, with them being just a couple mm under the black rather than flush. They’re also an awkward size which means for me they look worse without the black strip.

The lower bumper region just suffers from the same messiness that a lot of Ferrari’s currently do, its function, but there’s so much going on in the small space it all just clashes.
