Also, we're into the very last days of the Italian Exotics series and not once did one of the wheelspin exclusives turn up at the dealership.

I got them from the auction house anyhow, as it would've been silly wasting time restarting the game over & over when I had a better chance of getting them from there.

If they do show up, watch it be on the last day. That would be so typical.

Just to note that you will have only really been able to get them from the AH because the community has run convoys to ensure people were able to access the cars in the dealership. People have therefore purchased multiple copies which have driven the price down and meant there’s a lot of AH cars available.

What PGG should have done was to limit everyone to one copy of each wheelspin car purchased in the dealership but have them appear with the same regularity as all the other cars in the rotation. Also having the cars update every 5/10 minutes without needing to restart the game would have been sensible.

As it is, I suspect you’d have needed to restart over 1,000 times to get all six cars (if that was what you were hoping to achieve). The strike rate seemed to be less than 1% to get any of the 6 cars to pop up. That’s just ridiculous and PGG should be getting a lot of criticism for the way they implemented this “feature”.

At this point I'm convinced the whole thing is a bug they never had time to fix because they're focused on getting Drift Attack and the new Seasonal Time Attack circuit working.

I think they made an error with the Huayra R. It appears with the same regularity as the standard Autoshow cars and wasn’t even publicised as being in the rotation. It also makes no sense when it was also a playlist prize this month. My suspicion is that they meant to include the Huayra BC and someone selected the wrong car.

Yeah, I think it confirms the whole thing was scuffed from the off and PG wasn't allowed to fix it because new features and preparation for Gamescom took priority. At least everyone got the Wheelspin exclusive Viper ACR through the Technica collab, but that's it.

I actually thought the next history reward would be revealed the week the first players reach 500 points, but apparently that wasn't the case. Let's see if the next car will be for 1000 or 1500 points.

They're probably added alongside the Playlist cars of the update after they're unlockable, so we'll find out in about an hour and a half what the next car is.

I hear you. The only wheelspin exclusive that turned up in this period was not at the dealership but through a wheelspin...

I got my Diablo GTR but the whole complete no show of these cars for me in the dealership, not even once has completely soured any such ingame special event like this. If they do it again I won't even bother. If some of these exclusives actually showed up even just once or twice I'd be a lot happier.

Here's the kicker, the price I got them from the auction house turned out to be cheaper than the discounted price that was offered at the dealership. The same can apply to the autoshow cars, which effectively defeats the whole purpose of having this small window of opportunity to get these cars on discount.

Agreed, aftermarket cars should rotate after a certain amount of time has passed. That's something PGG needs to fix because the way it is now, it's not the way to go about it. The fact the cars were only offered on a slight discount doesn't help matters either.

It's a great idea, but they bottled the execution.

Never naturally. I only got them all with the assistance of the FH6 Rare Hunters Discord (now known as Forza Backstage apparently), and before that I only saw the Diablo GTR by way of spamming matchmaking for Car Meet convoys.

I did about 200 restarts over a week or so. Saw 1 wheelspin car. Someone posted a more structured analysis of 200 restarts which also showed 1 wheelspin car. In total, that’s c.400 restarts for 2 cars or a 0.5% hit rate. Basically, they are incredibly rare and most people aren’t going to see more than 1 playing normally across a month, if that.

I'd also like to add to this the Production spec Aston martin Valhalla, as well as the V600 vantage(Last seen in FH3). Along with the 2014 shape Vanquish and the early 2000s one, oh and as a wild card the Lister storm as well as the Jensen interceptor.
 
To be honest, I kinda suspected this Playlist was going to be mostly upgrade fodder (minus the Exomotive and Camaro), but... honestly three Wheelspin-exclusives and a previous FOMO car in the Hard-to-Find list is pretty neat!

Also that car pass. The Tipo 33, the '57 Thunderbird, an R30 and the 961?! Damn, Car Pass owners are eating good.

Series looks good, the N600 looks fun. I am happy the Exocet sport version is being added to Horizon finally. Also looking forward to the TBird because my dad used to drive one. And that Alfa Romeo Tipo is insanely cool, and I am looking forward to driving that.

The time attack circuit is also really nice, and part of me wishes they would just make these permanent rather than lasting only 1 season. But I am happy to run laps through a new course while I wait for my friends to tune their cars.

Still, it just feels like they do not want to address the FOMO, and even now, they seem like they are phasing away from re-adding FOMO vehicles to the festival Playlist (Dodge Dart Hemi Stock is a wheelspin exclusive.) It feels like they knew that FOMO was a major complaint, even addressed it in previous interviews, and said they are thinking of ways to fix it, just to save face and not actually do anything.

Edit: it seems like they might have not meant to post that blog yet? It doesn't show up anywhere on their site anymore.

...also realizing that we didn't get the next Series History reward car either. Are they holding off until the British update, or is the reason why they pulled the blog so they could slip it in?
