N O T E S :
10.13 - List created. Populated using released images of full game, and T10's official Facebook page. "Add-On" cars will get specs as they become available, and add to the class tallies. For now, though, absolute total is 145.
10.16 - Updated to reflect PI's for rare vehicles. LCE and VIP cars still missing those, which puts absolute total at 154.
10.17. - Month One Car Pack added.

Nice list and very useful information, in my opinion. Love it!

I'm quite suprised how many cars of that list I actually want to get into my garage. In fact, there are more cars I want to own and drive then cars that I don't care about

With some exceptions, it seems they mostly followed a pattern of "one old, one new." There are lots of pairs, some directly related and some not. If they had to cut back the car list, I like how equitable they were about it.

Great job on the list. Very clean and professional. 👍

Here's the PI figures for the unicorns and barn finds:

Aston Martin DB5 - C315
Aston Martin DBR1 - B420
Bugatti EB110 - S645
BMW M1 - B451
Ferrari 250TR - C364
Ferrari Dino 246 - D282
Ford Fiesta - D229
Honda CRX - D298
Jaguar D-Type - B409
Lotus Elan - D210
Mazda MX5 SL - D296
Mercedes-Benz 300SL - D247
MINI Coupe JCW - C363
Plymouth Cuda - C352
Saleen S5S - S641
Shelby Daytona - A529

Nice job Slipz, i'm disappointed they haven't added any of the Ford Escorts! - if they release them as DLC there is no way i'm going to buy them, just go back to forza 4 where i already purchased them.

Thanks for putting this list together. 👍

We still don't know what the Launch Car Pack is then...

Thanks for putting this together SlipZ, my time to update my list was little.

Isn't the 1987 Sierra Cosworth like an old Escort

Sort of but the shape of the Escort i would say is better.

Lets see what happens to the likes of some of the Forza Motorsport 4 cars.

Yea I like the list alot of great cars but as a mustang lover and this being a open street/dirt racing game. I would like to see more mustangs from different years, like the 93 cobra, 79 mustang II, 68-69 shelby GT500, 69 Mach I, Bullett,03-04 cobra etc... Give us the best from each generation. I would also like to see more camaros, vettes old school muscle. Forza 4 has a great selection of pony/muscle cars old/new and if this a a car culture game bring in some special custom like Roush,Saleen,Steeda etc... I guess on oct 23 I can enjoy the 69 Boss, and 2013 GT500 for now.

When you consider that stuff like the F50 GT and Maserati MC12 made it, but not some of the odder classics from FM4, it does make you smart a bit. Overall, rather meh.

My thoughts exactly mate. The list for Horzion could of been so much better.

My thoughts exactly I am going to miss my favorite cars

The 1999 Dodge Viper GTS ACR
The 2002 Mazda RX-7 Spirit R
The 2004 Subaru S204
and the 2002 Chevy Corvette Z06

But then again it does have

The classic MINI
The classic Fiat 500
The classic VW Beetle
And the Dodge Viper ACR-X

The only thing that annoys me is that is has 17 Ferrari, which is more than 10% of the total car roster. These car slots could've been used otherwise to provide even more diversity...

Yeah, the list is uneven in a few spots. Ferrari is excessive, Lamborghini is a little excessive, and I'm not sure why we needed the Golf R, Scirocco R, Rabbit GTI, and Mk2 GTi all together.

I can't say I'm not disappointed in the Subaru list, and while the BMW list is bountiful, it's missing the E46. However, this is still a stellar collection of cars.

Why couldn't they include all non-racing Forza 4 cars in Horizon and let us choose what we want to race in or cruise in. I'm sure they will include more from Forza 4 in a DLC. I hope also they include more barn finds as well wel shall see.

Yep, while I like Ferrari, I never really bought any of them.. Wish they would have atleast balanced out the selections so that each manufacturer doesnt get an abundance of cars and have a somewhat similar amount for each different company.

Why the 🤬 does Ferrari have more than twice the number of cars than the next closest manufacture? I am fairly impressed with the list otherwise, minus the fact there are no modern 'normal' Aston Martin since Playground/T10 are 🤬 and made me pre-order from Gamestop to get the Golf R. Really hope one of the LCE cars is a DBS or Vanquish.

LCE cars are already known, but considering how often Aston was a DLC choice for FM4, I'd be very surprised if the Vanquish doesn't show up as DLC soon.

If the Renault DLC is pay-for DLC, and that's setting the tone for the DLC packs, though, I'm not paying. Especially if that exorbitant Season Pass price ends up mostly covering FM4 carry-overs.

what happened to honda....no ek9, no dc2, no eg...and nissan, no r32, r33, s14, s13? i mean come on. theres even an r33 in the starting video!!! some of the most enfluential and populer car's to ever come into the tuning scene(what i take the horizon festival as) and there not even in the game. really disapointed at this point.

Why couldn't they include all non-racing Forza 4 cars in Horizon and let us choose what we want to race in or cruise in.

Because it's still a ton of time, research, and licence fees to use on a game they're not even sure will be a success, yet. They'll look at all the data gathered from FH1 -Sales, cars most driven, highest miles, etc- then use that to add more flavour in FH2 when talking backdated cars, that's my guess.

Heck, the data from FM3/4 was probably 75% the deciding factor for the FH car list. Most of these cars are all popular lobby cars and classes in FM3/4. i.e B to S class......

and civics

To be fair, about 130 cars still is a massive car list for an open world racing game... In fact, I think there isn't one open world racer that matches that. While the comparisons to FM4 are to be expected, I'd think that one would have to keep that in mind, as well.
Why the 🤬 does Ferrari have more than twice the number of cars than the next closest manufacture?
See, I won't pretend that my favourite cars would've been a better choice than any of the Ferrari... But this fact is just annoying as hell to me. Mostly because, well, frankly, I hate Ferrari as a company. They made some epic cars and some of them made it into the game (F40, F40C, GT0, 355C for starters). But, as a company, I hate them with a passion, for example because of their tendency to influence car tests by handpicking slightlly modified cars and such.

This is my dislike for Ferrari speaking, but I could picture them putting a condition on PG/T10 that they had to make them the biggest anufacturer in FH to be able to use the cars. Yeah, I'm a little paranoid at times, I know

Launch day car pack - I'm now hoping this is a large file that adds in a decent amount of cars that deserve to be in this game and already existing 4. FOC too.

So when they said close to 200 cars, I guess they were including all of the DLC car packs that will be available after launch. Kind of a bummer really, I was expecting close to 200 on disc.
