Finally some real news of the game, I think this game will be the factor that states whether or not I go get a 360.

Same situation here. I've been thinking about buying a 360 for a while now, this will pretty much seal the deal.

...Good, now if they can just get real BMW Straße Models in der Videospiel, they might have a kick-ass game. Crossing my fingers for the C6 Z06 as well...

BTW: Have they announced what will be in the bonus pack for PGR3?

I'm in the same boat. I haven't seen anything in the 360 game lineup that has made me want one, but I've developed a taste for Forza, idiot warbots aside, and would love to have Forza 2 alongside Gran Turismo 5. I think those two games will fulfill any driving and racing needs I'll have for a good long while.

As of today, E3 and revelations of coolness are just over a week away!

If Forza 2 is anywhere near as good as Forza 2 then I will have to get the 360 for sure. I still think Forza was one of the best race car games I ever played for any system. For the first of the series they did an excellent job with Forza! The 600 vinyls on the cars made it soo addicting. I hope they allow you to do custom vinyls on Forza 2. That was my favorite part of the game and of course the excellent physics.

I had a feeling in my mind, that Forza 2 would tempt you. So it looks like the GTP car club could be getting new members once Forza 2 is out Camaro.

After I get all the race events and car shows done this year with my Camaro and heathers Mustang, then I can highly consider a 360. Hopefully by the time Forza 2 comes out they will have more games available for the 360. Dont worry mate, I will have a 360 for sure by the end of the year. :sly:
Wheres the GTP forza car club?

Theres going to be something like 80 games in total this year for the 360, that includes new games and current ones. Oh and Camaro, didn't you say you have a video capture card.

Where you can record from any of your consoles. And the GTP Car club in the Forza forum of GTP, remember your on it. Aswell as DVM.

Thats great to hear there are so many 360 games coming out. I havent been on Forza in a very long time. I wouldnt mind playing again some time. I dont have very many cars. The couple I have were for drifting so they are worthless for racing. I think I set up mabey 2 cars for racing. I spent more time applying vinyls then I did tuning cars. I wish I had more free time to enjoy the great games out there.
Yes I can capture videos. I can use my Dazzle or my new video card. (havent tried the video card for capturing yet)

Thats good, because I was thinking of GTP Car club doing videos in Forza 2. But once its out buddy.

I'm in "IF" they have

realistic moving cars
some kind of high quality wheel support
expanded car types
60fps
better menu system
autosave disable

I agree, I'm not convinced to buy a 360 yet, a few of the games I would get will be available on PS3 or PC, a game like Forza 2 could clinch me.

Err... are you one of the mods at Forzacentral? Or, dare I say it, a lab mouse with the intellect of... wait, wrong dimension. :p

Or one of the Team Forza guys??

In any case, I'm watching my drivatar, B-Spec Bob tear it up in an endurance race because I'm too tired to race just now, and everything I do in Forza is making me RAVENOUS for the sequel. Forza has just a couple of warts which could use some high definition treatment. ;)

For Forza 2, I would expect a few things:

- Improved physics, should make the GT guys happy
- Improved visuals, should make the GT guys happy
- More Ferraris and Porsches, presumably more licenced vehicles all together
- Photo vinyl capability because of the 360's ability to use digital cameras
- All of the greatness offered by HD technology

About LaBounti's Concerns: Some of your things will probably change, but the autosave feature is going to be something that will stay I presume. As for 60fps, we will see. Knowing that it will be a second-gen 360 title that probably won't be ready for release untill Q4 2006 or Q1 2007, chances are Microsoft Games will have the feature ready...

The good news: E3 starts on Monday, even better news, Forza 2 is supposed to be a playable demo on the showfloor.

live4speed what if Forza 2 had every single TVR ever made in game. Because I have a feeling that would tempt you even more.

It wouldn't every TVR ever to get me to buy it, just a good selection .

They got to come across a huge step to reach that path.

Since it will be for the 360 you are going to see a vast improvement in the looks, I'm guessing it will look better then PGR3

...I can see Microsoft Studios pushing quite a bit of money into Forza 2 to get the look beyond PGR3, and I pray to God they get the in-car camera going in Forza as well.

Also, I hope they do more with downloadable content, specifically with new cars that come out periodically throughout the life of the game. PGR3 will have downloadable content ready soon, and the game has only been on shelves for only five months, and should include another city and more cars for all of us to enjoy, or atleast for those of us who have a 360.

They need more downloadable content for more games, it's a nice bonus to get more out of a game your just spend 50 bucks on.

I noticed the avatar, that's why I asked. I guess you can't say anything of substance or you'd have to shoot my XBox, huh. ;)

Anyway, after getting accustomed to the graphics in Forza 1, I've grown to appreciate them a lot, the weird quirks like environment framerate issues aside. I don't know if we can anticipate graphics like we've seen in the development shots released for TDU or Ridge Racer, but I do expect something in the ballpark, better than PGR3.

The 360 and PS3 are hugely powerful systems, better than many hot snot gaming PCs (like mine, sadly), so what will ultimately be capable on them may only be limited by the imagination.

Its not hard to win money in Forza. Go online and do P2P sprints in the S-Class... If youre a good driver and you have a good enough car (AWD and MR cars are best), you can make S-Loads of money rather quickly...
