I wouldn't say it's my personal favourite of the Car Packs in Forza 6, but I still think it's a pretty damn good one.

I am thrilled to finally see the Jaguar XJS in Forza, A car I've been wanting to see in Forza for awhile now.. I've had it in a few of my fantasy car packs we do here sometimes.

I do like my Jaguar's so I wont complain about having 2 of them in this pack, The Project 7 looks fun.

The Rolls Royce dawn is a nice edition as is the Land Rover.

I've never been a huge Audi R8 Fan but I have to admit this one looks ok.

The Ferrari looks like it could be scary to drive.. Look forward to trying that out.

The Charger hellcat looks ok but probably the least exciting one for me in the pack..

So yeah..It's good, not my favourite by any means but I still like it.

Last Months pack was pretty Classic car heavy so I can forgive this one for being Modern Car heavy.

Though I kinda prefer a mix of the both of them but alas.

7 more vehicles added to my series :)

Aside from the R8 and Project 7; I wasn't expecting some of those.

Overall, I think it's an okay pack.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!

T10 keeps delivering cars I wasn't expecting to see in a vidya anymore like it's Christmas everyday. The XJ-S is right there with the Mazda MX-5 on the list of nowadays-cheap cars I'd buy without a second thought (weird as it may be). The other cars are very hot stuff, too - this is one of the few months in which I am not going to say T10 has one-upped themselves, but there is nothing to complain about.

Unless you're a drift kiddie, in which case I doubt that Rolls Royce will make you as happy as I am right now.

I didn't see that XJ-S! Okay, one car for meeeeeeeeee.

I like it, some new cars to give a chance.

Have they kept the packs the same as the last couple games where the top car requires the whole pack?

Best car pack been released so far (in my opinion) and it`s not in the season pass.

Damn this car is freakin' epic! I rarely buy car packs but this however, is a must a buy! I gotta get it later tonight or something. :D Also, the Audi R8 V10 Plus! First FFXV (for the movie) now Forza, woohooooo!

Anyone tried the Project 7? You don't hear it much in the trailer, but I caught what sounded like the signature V8 R sound.

As always, Forza surprises us with more quality content! Very good price as well. Going to be honest, the car selection is great, but I feel most of them are a bit like others already in the game. Not much variety. That's just me though.

I am greatly interested on the old Jaguar. The new R8 is also quite the nice addition. The rest are okay, but highly welcomed! Hopefully the next pack will bring more of the classics that were dumped from this game. Bring more regular cars and accessible sport cars in the future. Preferably from the 80's and 90's.

Yes! They've got a sample for the Project 7 that actually sounds like the real car. That metallic rasp at the top end and the pops and bangs on the over-run. I'll check the coupe, next. It would be bizarre to re-record it and not update the existing car.

EDIT; Nope, still the same generic V8 with a supercharger noise for the Coupe. Poor show, T10.

I tried buying the DLC from my Xbox, SmartgGlass, and Xbox.com, and I keep getting Error: Pbr9002 :indiff:

Does anyone know a fix for it?

EDIT: Never mind I fixed it. I used PayPal and it worked.

Hoping to get a Wraith versus Dawn review posted before I fly off to Paris on Thursday. It'll be interesting to detect any nuances in cars so large, if any.

After driving them both around Lime Rock, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. Quite a different attitude in the Dawn.

It's review time again! Before I start: am I the only one finding the fact that the car with the smallest displacement in the Top Gear DLC is the five-litre Audi R8 so... Convenient? Anyways, without further ado...

There is something... Sinister about Rolls-Royces. Perhaps its their uncompromising attitude; or perhaps it's the thought that only to realize the beautiful dash trim, several acres of Amazonian Rainforest had to be cut down.
The Dawn is no exception: it's an imposing car, which somehow manages to be elegant even as it looks like a brick. Handling-wise it's a bit more peppy than its hardtop brethren, suffering a lot less from the dreaded understeer we all had the chance to experience driving the Wraith around Brands Hatch - it's a lot more fun than you'd expect a 2-tonne luxury convertible to be, that's for sure.

The XJ-S is yes, all of my yes. It's another car, like the Alfa 75, that I had lost all hopes of seeing in a videogame: and yet T10 delivers.
Not only did the XJ-S carry Jaguar through its roughest days and well into the 90s - but it's also, at least in my opinion, one of the most beautiful 2+2 GTs ever built. However, divided reception of its styling and just being born at the wrong time robbed this car of the success it deserved, almost relegating it to a footnote in Jaguar's history as the XKE hogs all the glory.
I just had to rejoyce in the sound of the 300 hp 5.3 litre HE V12 engine as I carved the perfect trajectory around Monza, using the grip provided by the wide tires and the powerful brakes to my full advantage. If this car will make it to FH3, I'll be a happy man indeed.

The SVR is proof that sometimes small changes are sufficient to completely transform the character of a car. If you don't keep the sportier bumpers and rims into consideration, the main difference between the standard model and this souped-up Cayenne competitor is its Adaptive Dynamics suspension package - something I wasn't sure Forza would ever simulate properly.
And yet, it feels so different from its meeker version. The sound of the V8 is now properly ferocious. The grip, for a car of this weight and proportions, immense. The Range Rover Sport stepped into a new role, and did so well.

The Charger Hellcat was one of the most requested cars over the official forums. And while I don't share that enthusiasm, I can see why - it is, after all, the most powerful sedan in the world, and likely to remain so for several years. And it seems just that bit less psychotic than the Challenger... Which makes it all the more appealing to me.

The Project 7 is another lesson from the JLR's Special Vehicle Operations guys on how to completely change the character of a car. It's doesn't just look like a track car: it is a track car with stickier tires, more downforce, and a much more track-oriented suspension setup. Oh, and no roof. Which together with the rumble of the F-Type's V8, equals aural pleasure.

Just as I never liked the Gallardo, I never liked the last-gen R8. It was a car with no true identity - a weird blend of different stylistic messages that didn't fit too well together. It wanted to be a racecar, and at the same time it wanted to be the TT's bigger sister, and still, it was too similar to its Lamborghini parts donor to stand out for its merits, not only in looks, but also in driving dynamics.
And just like I loved the Huracan for adressing all the gripes I had with the Gallardo, I am loving the new R8 for doing the same with Audi's supercar. It's the perfect blend of Audi's new stylistic language, the stance of the pre-war Auto Union GP racers, and the angular, sharp looks of a concept car. Performance-wise, it's a pleasure to drive. The fixed rear wing constantly generates more than enough downforce to keep the rear grounded, and the car drives with such a laser-like focus that after the first three or four corners, no doubt will be left this is the German permutation of the more temperamental Huracan.

And finally, we come to this. The car Ron Dennis has nightmares about; the Ferrari FXX K. One can't help but wonder if its unfortunate name wasn't deliberate: everything in Ferrari's ultimate hypercar exudes excitement - it's a 2 million dollars track toy that screams "fxxk yeah" at every shift, at every corner entry that leaves the tires smoking and the brakes glowing red-hot, at every hard push of the throttle.
One of the many advantages its Forza rendition provides over Driveclub's still very good one is the ability to choose your color: and doesn't it look a lot like a modern reinterpretation of the Go Mifune in this red-on-white livery?

To add a bit to what you say about the FXXK, a beautiful machine with what could be a fatal flaw, it is P class with virtually no upgrade path :(. Those LMP's don't fool around, especially when you are forced to start in 24th place. I don't drive well enough to overcome that disadvantage. Maybe one of the tune wizards will have a good one for this nearly non upgradable beast. I do dig driving it though. :dopey: Very nice review of the cars too Clyde.

Spent 45 minutes just hot lapping the Ferrari at COTA (ran out of gas on the first stint). It's not a difficult car to drive, but it commands precision inputs if you're after blistering lap times. And man, you can feel when you've got one; the car doesn't fight and it just feels so smooth through the corners. Surprisingly, even with 1,000+Hp, it's hard to really light up the rears in 2nd out a corner and even when you do feel the tires starting to break, quickly up-shifting to 3rd can put the power back down to an optimal range before it rockets away. I believe I was clocking 170Mph on the front straight and 190Mph through the back straight, and it's been one of the few cars that I've been able to really hit nice, clean lines through COTA's T13-T15 section which can make or break all the speed you've just carried for a record time.

I don't know how it's going to do against other cars in its class, but it's become one of my favorite cars. The sound it produces and hearing those 2 giant exhaust pipes bellow on down-shifts is fantastic.

I also have to give a nod to the Project 7. I don't know why T10 couldn't get the F-Type R to sound like it. I don't think it completely captures the exhaust note the F-Type has made its own, but it's distinguishable enough to hear. It also drives a lot better, imo.

The pops and bangs off throttle are a bit too muted, but if you're looking at the car from the side with the free cam, holding it on the handbrake in first gives you a good excuse to blip the throttle and enjoy those noises.

I tweeted T10 via the @Forzamotorsports handle last night, asking them to add the P7 sound to the R Coupe. One can hope.

For those wondering about the FXXK being competitive in P class...no. It can't hold a candle to the LMPs. It'll easily beat the Ford and Chevy Daytona Prototypes, the Mazda and Toyota Lolas, and Caparo, and butt heads hard with the Koenigsegg One:1 (obviously losing out on the straights, but dancing upon it in the turns), but loses out completely to cars like the Toyota GT-ONE and Ferrari F333SP. So long story short, if your opponents are driving low-P class cars, it'll stand a chance, but proper LMPs? Not a chance in heaven.

Pack's aight. Big fan of the FXX K, XJ-S and F-Type P7. The rest is eh... though I completely understand who it's aimed for, and I appreciate that.

Interesting to see still no cars from FM4 returning in the monthly car packs. I wonder when we'll see some of those return, hopefully sooner rather than later!
